This is something I don't get. I've walked to my car in an empty parking lot in the dead of night nearly every day due to working so late, but the only thought that comes to my mind is "If I were a feminist, I'd be having a conniption fit right about now." I've never been sexually harassed in the manner that some of these women describe - no cat-calling, no jeering, leering, or inappropriate touching... it seems a little exaggerated to me.

I think I understand where you're coming from a little better. Let's just say that, while I agree with the end result of "No More Page 3", I think the reasons they used to achieve that aren't really valid. I think that is over-complicating the situation to a very convoluted extent. Bare boobs are porn. Male chests are not porn. Bare butts are porn. Bare vaginas and penises are porn. Depictions of sex acts are porn. There is a right place for these things, like in a medical context or artistic one (and no, the Sun isn't it.) I don't want porn inflicted upon me. I really really like this, I love consise and moving distillations of the injustices inflicted upon men that the world seems to be blind to, but for one exception. In other news, while international women's day got a google doodle, the same cannot be said for International Men's Day. Admittedly this is just a little blip in the grand scheme of things, a small part of me wanted to see an equivalent google doodle. At my workplace, we're not only recognizing Intl Men's day, we're also doing a month long fundraiser towards Movember, to support health programs for men. The equality that they strive for is one of my favorite parts of working there!

I have a genuine question, no sarcasm or anything else attached. Why did the quality of health insurance available to me rapidly decrease after obamacare was implemented? The day it was signed into law my employer at the time announced that premiums would be going up next year. I find respect for the author in some of what she says, but I dislike that she attributes the loving way she is raising her son to her feminism. I also deeply dislike the title. Well, by saying "more than "mildly" infuriating," I was referencing the subreddit I originally saw this in. In reality, the very idea of any definition of that word excluding a woman encapsulates the idea that women are above the crime or that their actions don't count, or that if someone is raped by a woman, they weren't actually raped.
