I remember being the same way in my mid 20s, but interestingly the older I get (early mid 30s) the less I give a shit about what my family/friends think. I would care less about doing it now then in my mid 20s.

Much like most of the rates pointed to nowadays, the point isnt to have a very accurate measure of actual life expectancy, but rather to have a number that shows our government/society is better than we were before. Its political.

I would assume that it has a lot to do with concern over image. Some people are overly concerned over what other people think. I think a lot of women look at marriage as a prerequisite for having children rather than for raising children. A kid that happened during a failed marriage is more acceptable than a kid from a random hookup. They want that kid and the respectable image for that kid, and they are willing to stay in a failed or failing marriage until they have what they wanted from the ma…

I agree that the current direction of blaming masculinity and maleness for the rash of incel shootings is likely fanning the flames. Its like we have a bunch of outlets for steam and after trying to plug them up we cause a bunch of blowouts. Instead of removing the plugs the solution is to weld plates over as many outlets as possible. This isn't the perfect analogy but the current situation and sentiment feels something like this to me.

God I love when someone comes in with a valid and well thought out response and the other person just shouts buzz word vitriol like 'mansplaining.' Nothing but the highest caliber of debate there.

The typical MTGOW probably doesn't even know r/MTGOW exists, hell they may not even know the term for MTGOW. Honestly the ones spending all their time on r/MTGOW are the ones who are failing, they have let women take over their lives, perhaps not in the way they feared, but women have consumed them nonetheless.

I am pretty sure 20% is not a tiny amount, if you suddenly had your salary reduced by 20% would you consider it a tiny decrease? Based on the attached article it means that its the third most popular way relationships start.

Consider myself to be MGTOW, but I dropped the r/MGTOW shortly after incels lost their subreddit. You could tell that it was moving towards becoming a pit of hate and the mods werent doing anything or werent able to stop it. Shame though it gives MGTOWs a bad name.

Technology drives economics. Just look at how major technology improvements have changed the economy even hundreds of years ago with the cotton gin or the railroad.

I think there are only two that I would say are not a predominantly female toxicity. Throwing away relationships without putting any work seems to be an issue with both genders nowadays, and the gaslighting issue is also not something that is specific to women. The others seem to be things that tend to be primarily feminine features that are toxic.

This has to do with a couple things, women on tinder were alot less picky in its early days. Tinder is also trying to squeeze out every little bit of profit they can, so unless you are paying to be at the front of the stack of profiles that girls see, ie boosting or superliking everyone, you likely are going to be seen by very few girls.

Your first ultrasound will typically be done between 18 and 20 weeks, but you may have one before 12 weeks to confirm your due date. This ultrasound can routinely detect a heartbeat in your baby as early as 6-7 weeks. Not sure how Japan is, but according to a quick google search they generally don't do an ultrasound at 5 weeks. Pretty sure it is too small at 5 weeks to even get much to show up. My money is on she is pregnant with someone else's kid and is trying to get you to fall on the grenade…

Was about to reply with this, surprised this isn't the top answer to this. A lot of people still think their is a stigma to online dating, even though almost everyone uses online dating in some capacity(tinder, match, etc)

Actually your friendship(almost freudian slipped with friendsh*t) ended the moment he made a conscious decision that getting a piece of tail was worth more than being your friend.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
