What I'm saying is that she doesn't "really want a bad boy." It's a fantasy. Not something they actually want. And men do it similar when it comes to things like how dressed up/made up or toned a woman is. Guys talk all sorts about how much they prefer a woman with a nice ass or whatever, but that doesn't mean they're settling if they find a nice girl with an average behind.

Well redpill is construing that as some sort of nefarious act that inherently disadvantages men, even though it's generally something that is experienced on both sides of dating, and also usually benefits more "regular" people, as opposed to making it harder for them. It's less settling and more maturing.

You're not "settling" with someone else, you're realizing that what you want isn't always what you need or what is going to be best for you in the long term. It's not cynicism, it's pragmatism. The fact is that if it required little effort to maintain such a physique, it would be much more popular, but women know that the more muscular they want they're partners to be, the more time said man has to spend working on they're physique. Same thing with "high maintenance" women. It goes both ways, it…

Because they're celebrities and exciting. They're considered sexy, but that doesn't mean we would pick them as a partner. Jason Momoa is a dream, but I wouldn't want to marry him. The other thing with them is personality. We know that Dwayne is a hilarious man and that Jason is super awesome with his wife and step kids, which adds to the appeal. Also there is a difference between muscular men and literal body builders.

I (a bisexual woman) can actually give you some insight into this. First of all, overly muscular men are not nearly as attractive to women as commonly thought. So right there is a huge misunderstanding. Women would generally prefer someone with "practical" muscles, like a construction worker, than someone who has more "performative" muscles, like people who go to the gym all the time. The other thing is that men do like muscular women, just that "muscular" on a women looks very different than yo…

Honestly for the winter (I'm in Canada, so it was real cold,) I just gave up. And this summer I'm going to try and find a couple of hobby clubs or classes where I could meet people. I don't really know what the answer is to this issue though.

If it makes you feel any better, I a woman, am equally frustrated with how difficult it is to date these days.

As someone who just found this sub and never really had much interactive with RP stuff, that's a very normal behaviour to have! It is literally human nature to consider potential partners. As long as you are recognizing this and making sure to not let those thoughts take over, you're on the right track! I have often thought about someone sexually until I get to know them better, and for me personally it fades away the steering the platonic friendship gets! I wouldn't be so concerned about this a…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
