We also do double top plates. I think we add 1/8 per stud because they aren't perfectly 1-1/2" thick when you stalk them together.

2 2x4's measure 3-3/8. 10'studs are hard to come by in some places. So you chop 10's It might be different where you live. Canadian stud lengths are 92, 105, 116 + 5/8"

No one who cares leaves shit work. It that simple. Anyone who simply can't do it doesn't stay in the business for very long at all. Most of your business comes from referrals in the early stages. If you don't get referrals cause you can't do shut you don't end up getting work and you have to do something else. Most of the time shit work is by idiots who undercut their own quotes thinking low balling will get them the job and then they realize that to get it right at their skill level it will tak…

Building a house is easy if you have time and patience.

Purveyor of building materials and part time handyman here: Literally anyone who can measure in inches and subtract in fractions of the 1/16th variety can build a house. Albeit not a complicated house. Framing 4 square walls and hanging sheathing is simple. Hanging pre made trusses and sheathing them is simple. Shingling is simple. Wiring a fews circuits off a small panel for plugs and lights is simple. Insulating is simple. Plumbing a corner shower and toilet and standing sink is simple. Instal…

Ha. Ha ha ha. Yeah right. You do realize that there are some really shitty mma fighters right. Like not all mma fighters are just inherently really good. I'll grant you she's probably lose to almost anyone above the undercard level but the majority of fighters aren't above the undercard level.

Rhonda rouse my can kick a majority of lower level mma fighters asses. I didn't say that women are equal in capability. I said that there are ones that are better than some men. Those ones can hold their own.

Here's a very simple outlook for you. Today's society lacks empathy. People do not understand others situations. Most people are fairly incapable of figuring out why other people do what they do. A common example is black hostility towards police. White people often criticize this and are unable to comprehend why they are hostile. They fail to see that for a black person the police arrest more black men than white men. More harshly and more violently. Often for crimes that they committed because…

See. Here's where I get stuck. You have a shitty employee can't you fire them? If they don't meet the standards why not? If you can get rid of them what's the issue? Yes on average women are worse than men combat wise. Who gives a shit? Do you have a cap of X soldiers? If not then great your increasing your force size. If so then great your making your force more competitive by removing the worst men. I see allot of talk regarding the fear that a woman in a unit won't be able to save my life. So…

No. It's doesn't work like that. While equality can feel like oppression not all oppression is equality. The only realm this works as a counter argument is one where you reword this poster to equality is oppression. Then the logic is backwards compatible. But that's not what was said.

I like the way magic deals with it. They intentionally use he or she instead of they. Why? because if they say they it doesn't encourage women that the game is for them which is something they are actively trying to do.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
