Of course. Exceptions to the rule do not invalidate the rule. If you want to invalidate the rule you'd have to explain why the vast majority of criminals, those who are improperly adjusted, and those who suffer from mental illness come from single mother homes. I also had a non-present father so I can relate. It's tough for us men out there but we can reclaim our manhood with enough self-study.

Get into IT. You can go from Helpdesk to Junior Admin to System Admin to IT Engineer with the right experience in 10-15 years, possibly less. This been my plan all along. I am trying to position myself to buy multiple family rental units the next time the market crashes and rent those until the next cycle peaks and sell high. It was painful watching everyone lose it in 2008. I'm in my mid-20s and am determined not to be a victim because the crash is coming, especially in this political climate.
