You might benefit from the book Mother Hunger by Kelly McDaniel. I've got it on audible and it really helped me a lot. My bio mom basically abandoned me at age 8 and my stepmom was really hateful toward me (stole my money and disrupted my engagement, etc). Thankfully, did not lose vision in my good eye after the surgery. I've been completely blind in my left eye since I can remember and that was the lazy eye. That freshandfit channel actually scares me. The fact that they have so many followers should make all young women extremely cautious because your dates have probably see this type of content. I can relate. Back when I discovered RPW, it helped me embrace some more feminine traits but I could only go so far without losing myself. Especially when it came to the appearance recommendations. I'm a goth, always will be. I like dark colors, dont wear "natural looking" makeup and everyone tells me I look better with short-ish hair.
