Remarried for the last 2 years with a woman that respects and treats me right and living life. So I'd say it's been great... 2 years after divorce I bounced back.

What do you folks with 300-500k divorce bills plus, do for a living? Are you all millionaires or doctors or something? 400k is 2.5x the cost of my home and that's mortgaged for 30 years. I can't even fathom those costs, for me that would be leveraging my soul as collatoral. Lawyers are too expensive, but I didn't think 100k plus expensive, wow. In my case I gave her the house as I knew a drawn out battle would cost me money I didn't have. I am glad I did. Sure the house value would of been good …

Oh. The way you described her sitting around the house reminded me of the peg bundy type, lol. I figured she didnt do anything but buy shit and not contribute. Yeah I guess I phrased it wrong to. Did she not want a job? Some women don't want to work but don't want to contribute to the household either. My ex stated home at first to watch kids and didn't clean and complained about cooking. Which I did half of or we went out too much and she would bitch if we didn't. I later found out that while w…

Why did you fall for a woman who doesn't respect you? Why buy them a house like that. Why not let her have a job too so she can contribute. Women today want to be equals, let them. Let them chip in equal share and work. They will value you more than if you buy them things and treat them like a princess or child. If they contribute with you they will know that you are in it together. I don't own much and would land establhed women. It's doable and worth it when they are in it for you and not your…

A lot of modern women grow up with a silver spoon in their mouths. They don't have to work for things as there is always daddy or some dude ready to pay. Guys need to stop that. Treat them like equals for real not just in certain things and watch things change and watch all the feminists complain. The hypocrisy will show real quick. Women of older generations valued companionship and had to survive with their partner. Society shunned divorce and loose morals. Today society a d simps give them on…

How the hell do you guys have so much cash to spend on lawyers? They are making bank off all of you. I barely have 8k in savings and wouldn't dream of spending any of it on some shit stain greedy lawyer, let alone 200k. I let her pay for that shit. Got my stuff in order , separated bank accounts with screenshots ans had a folder with reciepts and watched as the judge smacked down all her monitary requests as she didn't make that much less than me. It was priceless the look on her face and she ha…

Hang in there man. I made it to 9. In 2019. Aparently after 10 they can try for alimony. Take some time off to be single. I waited til now to start dating again and hit the jackpot. Not rushing into no marriage again though.

Wow man. That sucks. I was just curious as that's a lot of cash for spousal support, thanks for explaining. My ex wife was fleecing her ex (before me) for $300/week and I thought that was highway robbery. I luckily refused to have kids with her after 9 years of marriage, I also made her get a job as I thought hey your not cleaning the house or doing shit then contribute. So when she tried to fleece me she was already making money and the judge laughed at her (a female judge no less). The look on…

Wow that's a lot to pay, not to change the subject but What do you do to make that much, just curious. Im in IT on thr east coast and make under 50k a year. I see so many on reddit making 6 figures. How do you all make so much money?

You lucked out then. My ex wife fleeced her ex husband $350 a week. A week! and he was by no means rich, he was a truck driver. I felt bad for him. Ironically we became freinds after my divorce with her.

Wait so they could leave you homeless on the street, what type of bullshit world is this? So glad I didn't knock my ex wife up. She wanted to but I excelled in the pull out game for 9 years. She already had two kids and was fleecing her ex as it was. Something in the back of my head said don't do it. When the divorce happened, she got to keep the house though. I left with the dog, a large TV, video games and a mountain of debt. No support payments though, and the look on her face when the judge …

Thank you for clarifying. Thats the second time in the last week I made the mistake of thinking someone was talking about being in America and instead were in India. My short sightedness in forgetting how this site is global in reach. Its also why I shouldn't post when tired. Man, I reread your post and I am sorry I feel for you. Not being able to see your son and having to pay support has to be tough. Just know eventually you will see him and then you can catch up. I say this as I didn't see my…

"but feminism helps men too. If only men would listen to us and believe"... Lol. Isn't that what they always spew. "you get fucked because of the patriarchy, if you give in a belive all women, become a femisnts and listen to female and oprressed voices, yada yada yada"....

200k, are all you guys wealthy? I'm skating by on 40k a year. The judge laughed at my ex when she tried to get child and spousal support. She works too, and we were married for 9 years. Thr judge (a black woman judge no less) called her and her lawyer out on the bs. She was getting child support from her ex and fleeced him. These were my step kids and she still tried for more money. Being married less than 10 years and her working saved me from any alimony. I was also smart I separated out bank …

How much do you make? 1 million a year? In what field (so I know what to change to, lol) Jeesh I'm 42 and make 40k a year. I can't imagine someone even having that in a month. Even if you are wealthy why does she need to match your salary?

Yep, just like the small business owners who get arrested for ignoring lockdowns (and walmart and big corporations were allowed to be open), while antifa rioters, looters and arsonists all would barely get nabbed, or called "mostly peaceful" . Those who did get arrested had charges dropped, by the D.A.

A hair cut where? The barbers are all closed we are in lock down. I'm starting to look like my scruffy junior high self when I started growing my hair long (I'm 41 now) . I've had a 0.5 fade for years now. This flat out sucks. Lol

Yeah but what happens when your old and your family has died off. It's nice to think about having a partner through this. To do things with. For me it's especially hard as I live in a new town and don't know anyone. Shit after 10 years I don't know how to even meet new friends, especially since I don't drink so I don't go to bars (been clean and sober for 15 years not fucking that up for some tail.) I'm an only child and my dad just died 2 days ago. I'm 41 and don't want to be 60 looking for a h…

I agree with this, but I think it's a recent phenomenon. Older generations of women weren't like this. I look at my grandparents and their 50+ years of marriage (while they were alive) and aunts and uncles who are now over 70. I think the first Gen of women to be like this was baby boomers... You can thank feminist activists and cosmo magazines and shows for this attitude.

I concur with the roommate thing. My soon to be ex wife said the same thing. "it's like we are roommates. Its not like it was the first year together. I'm just not happy"...like no shit. Why would she expect otherwise, especially since I was her 2nd husband. Relationships always go in stages and you are never as happy like you were during the initial stages. We would do it and she would be happy for a bit and go right back to being a bitch. I think she expected us to have sex every night like th…

Why not. So someone can be a lying cheating slut whore scumbag, break marriage vows and it doesn't matter? Doesn't this show said persons moral character? That they are not fit for having kids. And are scumbag pieces of crap. Sorry but if that's the way our laws are headed, it's wrong. Either that or marriage doesn't mean much anymore. Sad, no wonder the divorce rate is so high

Question is are there really non cheating people out there today. With divorce rates and the amount of these stories i see, I'm starting to doubt it. It seems to me people are too self centered and narcissistic. I wonder if social media and current culture is accelerating this bullshit.

I hate that line, but it seems to be more truth today. I wish it weren't. What happened to people making vows and sticking with them. I seen my grandparents and aunts and uncles have life long marriages till death. Did society change that much.

Feminism is cancer. So sayeth a wise sage of our time. Seriously if she's fallen for the intersectional cult of woke. Run don't walk far far away. You don't need that lunacy in your life. Next she will tell you your part of the "patriarchy" oppressing her by forcing monogamy on her or some bullshit like that.

This right here. My ex said she never loved me only got with me for x, Y and z. Which I know is a lie. Bitch was all over me for the first few years. She was ridden with guilt for being a slut cheating cunt and it's their way of rationalizing bad behavior and guilt. It was funny she got upset with her family on Facebook when they all took my side and bashed her for all of it.

Damn wtf... You know she doesn't even know that I know about it. Going to contact her lawyer to get the ball rolling, as he was supposed to just send the affidavits to sign. I am in debt as it is, if I don't have to pay I won't. This was supposed to be a file and done case. As in sign here and done.

Dude don't do anything to them. The probably have no idea you are in the picture. You don't know what she is telling them, and guess what its her fault for doing this not theirs (as she wasn't raped). This sucks though. I feel for your kids in this. I don't have biological kids but my step kids are going through this with their mom who bacame a feminist whore after almost a decade of marriage. You got the dog too? I got mine, she hated him since we got him (her idea to get a dog btw). She never did a thing with him but complain and treat him like furniture. Not once went out to walk the dog with me and as I left never said goodbye or even cared. Crazy selfish narcissistic cheating ho. Bitch even got pregnant and we aren't even divorced yet. Meanwhile I'm living with the dog and sleeping at my moms house at 40 paying her rent because I am debt from the divorce and can't afford a place …

Yeah American. She wasnt tech savvy. I am in IT for a living so tech is all around me. I originally just got her an ipod touch which wasnt an issue. It was the tablet and then smartphone where things got haywire. Oh and facebook. She was addicted to the gossip and listened to crazy freinds.

Yep. She would sit on the couch on her tablet and be absorbed into facebook and candy crush for hours. I would try to talk but she wouldn't lift her head from it. Meanwhile she would bitch about me playing video games or watching YouTube. Yet I would stop doing it if she came over to me, but it rarely happened after the phone. I can't say I'm blameless. I bought thr things. I also used to go on at my in laws house after some time or when out and about, but I tried to make time for her. Yet appar…

Thanks. At this rate I'm more likely to rent a ho. Yeah first you need female friends. Kinda tough when you are 40, live in a new town and don't know anyone. Shit she even has some of my old friends blocking my calls because she convinced them I was the devil or some shit. Was Married 8 years. Living in a rented room with my dog. Go to dog parks, hiking trails, and meet tons of ladies. Problem is they are either in their 60s or with a boyfriend/husband. I Don't drink anymore, so the bars out. It…

Question for you. Where were you finding these divorced single moms, or single ladies in general? As everyone I tend to meet is either 55+, early 20s, all the people my age 40, are taken, that I have seen. Granted it's only been a few months and it's not finalized yet, but when I am ready, I'd like to know. I met my ex on eharmony l, but that was in 2010. Before that friends and partying, but I'm out of that scene and don't want party women. That tinder crap just looks like a collection of hos..…

Can relate. My dog has made this process so much more barable. She always hated him too even though it was her idea to get a dog, she never took care of him, walked him or did anything with him. I tried to get her to go with me on walks with the dog and she hated the outdoors unless wine, food and a table was involved. My dog has been loyal and kind and always goes nuts when I come home.

Are you in the states? I didnt have kids with her (I somehow subconsciously knew not to) and just step kids. What sucks is they feel like biological kids. I raised them from age 4 and 6 to teenagers. I will only see my step son when he wants to hang out. At least you have kids to help you through.

I will go against the grain and say tinder isn't a good idea. Unless you are OK with slutty women, I wouldn't be. Those type of broads aren't wife material and stds are easy to get. It will only make you want someone who may just as easily screw your neighbor. Now, when you are ready there is other online dating apps like eharmony where you have to pay to create an account and you have to write a lot about things. The entry requirements weed out many hoes and douchbags. Frankly I would focus on …

Call me old school (I'm 40 btw), but I won't date a broad who sleeps with you that easily. If she's willing to put out for you than who else would ilshe do it for. My rule is if the woman will take sex before the 3rd date she's not wife material. I'm not suggesting you to stop as it seems to be working for you, I'm just saying an easy lay isn't the best for starting something meaningful, imo.

If you live near Philly (or don't) message me, if you need an ear or a friend. I'm going through a divorce now too. Waiting for the 90 days to sign the papers. I hear you about the feelings. Mine haven't kicked in yet as I am still living there. It will probably change after I load the moving truck. What helps me is my dog. He is a companion that will smile when he sees you no matter what. Gives me something to be responsible for and a walking companion. He will also help me talk with women, if/…

OK so if she owns the home outright, the two kids were not mine but from her ex, which she is already getting a crazy 260/week from him for them, she works full time and has a side business, why would I have to pay anything. Do they take into account that I am will be having to pay rent and not her. I make 19/hr she makes 14/hr. There is no bill she can't afford. After adding child support she has more income than me, plus a house with paid off mortgage. Also should I be splitting our joint savi…

That was my thought too. Is spousal support just till you are divorced, not the same as alimony right? Yeah I think her lawyer put all this through. We aren't even on bad terms she is just being stubborn about doing things on the books (hell we are still sleeping in same bed) . I just don't want to be fucked over since I have never done this before and don't have a clue what to expect or what the process even is. I wouldn't put it past her asking for this though. She is an entitled narcissist wh…
