People in general can be shitty. Honestly don't think it's about sexes as it is about running into shitty people

I think you've have some really bad experiences with men. Men and women can be friends all the time.

Yeah I always thought this was common sense. But also from personal experience, there were times in my own life where I was overly cynical and it got me nowhere. Where I'm at now I see more shades of grey and act balanced. Any extreme beliefs are problematic, in all spheres of life IMO

I think you're right or close to the truth for a certain group of guys. Not all but definitely not a small contingent either. In a way it's both psychological and (maybe cause of STDs) physically safer for them to find women who are also without many previous partners so that they have a shared romantic history & experience. So it's not wholly about making decisions because the man couldn't get some but what leads to a good compatible relationship. Like attracts like. I don't think women would l…

Good chemistry is worth sacrificing a lot for. Great chemistry is worth shoving everything off the table for. Chemistry between two people is exceedingly rare. Good makes something relationship worthy. Finding someone with great chemistry is like hitting the lotto

Smile and laugh As a guy we work so hard to make our woman smile. It's incredible how big a mood shift it can be when a woman's smile is great. Or a laugh that's infectious

Maybe. Thing is, I kinda stopped caring what the old women thought of me. Like, it'd be great if they looked at me in a better light but it's not necessary. I think an important part of all this how the guy who was beta around these women (in this case me) remembers how they treated him from before. It wasn't the best. They were kind, sure. But not really respectful. No matter how well they could treat me now, the memories don't really go away.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/07/20 05:02 PM
3

OP this has been my own personal experience. I've went from beta to alpha and found that women who knew me before never changed their opinion. They got angry in fact, especially when they saw other women's reactions to me. The only case where this changed was when $$$$ is involved. Then they changed their tune. But that's just being betabuxx not alpha, right?

I think this is an over generalization. 100% Guys aren't running game on women out in public places any more. Absolutely not. Ditto at work where it's career suicide to do so. But at the club? Online personals? Places people expect to get hit on (bars, etc.)? Guys are as aggressive as before. The real problem is that the # of socially acceptable places for men and women to pursue each other is getting smaller, in total everyone is doing it less. And depending on internet apps to make up for it, …

I'm 40. I was dating girls before Social Media. They were crazy then. They're crazy now. I love em. This is just my personal experience. "Can't live with them, can't live without them" isn't a modern saying
/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/20 10:54 PM
1

Oh for sure. My claim is that it's not everyone. The internet breaks women down too. Often does both at the same time. I'm saying that the more you date the more types of attitudes and personalities you'll find. They're not all Karens, not by a long shot. But online? People talk crazy.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/20 10:45 PM
2

The way people act on the internet/dating apps is very different from IRL. Now, I've had a ton of experience with the 'Karen' attitude while dating. So yes, it exists. But they're not the majority. If you look for bitchy people, you're going to get it. My dumb ass sometimes goes after chicks cause they're hot, not caring what their personalities like. Like a dog chasing cars. Guess who has to deal with a Karen afterwards? There's no 'explosion' of anything. I think people were always like this. …

I know this is stupid, but I think the good ol age equation is damn good (Age of Male / 2) + 7, the min aged female the male should approach. It's a rule of thumb, but one that's kept me from becoming that creep women talk about

I personally absolutely don't believe this and have lots of issues with the whole idea. We all have it tough but not in the same ways. Lets leave out sexual violence, threats and things that women have to deal with that are not up for debate. I think the main reason why many of the 'pill' followers believe women have life on easy mode is because of men and women's drastically different life experience in both online & offline dating. Life is so much easier when you're the pursued and not the pur…

Kinda? In my experience woman were almost always hotter. And the more money the guy had the bigger that gap
/r/PurplePillDebate25/05/20 08:45 PM
2

Completely disagree about the premise, most men (and I'm guessing women too) looking for LTRs *absolutely* care about their prospective partner's debt load. Hell, most people (male or female) explicitly want to know about credit scores but don't know how to ask about it without looking like an ass.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/05/20 05:10 PM

Depends on how much money they're getting out of it and Do they actually have a future as a employee in a standard/avg business or gov't function? If the money is really good and she didn't have high hopes/potential in her life, honestly it's a damn good way to go.

Yeah for sure. We're all getting better as a people, as a species. Horrible ideas that were once the norm are getting eradicated throughout the world. Yeah theres some holdouts, but wont last forever. I think the average man & woman want equality and for everyone to be happy.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/05/20 11:22 PM
2

Who knows? I flip flop. The number of times guys don't know that their SO's are unhappy is crazy high. But so are the number of times women expect men to read their minds. It's all bad If I had to put money down, I'd say men (and I'm one). I think, in general, women are way better about monitoring the relationship than guys are. So they figure out more out of what little guys say.

I think it's the dissatisfaction from online dating sites & apps. All that frustration has to go somewhere

I don't hold contempt but I don't take these women seriously either. As in, there will always be a low ceiling on what our interactions can be. History is history and cannot be forgotten. No hostility tho. People change, people grow up. But there's always new people out there. I'd say the same with the sexes switched too

Same here! Sex should be fun for everyone

You sure? Almost every dating app dataset showed race is a *major* factor in peoples' preferences for both guys and girls. That's why i specifically made the comment about being average. But damn Black women get shitted on in the dating marketplace. Asian and Indian guys get shitted on, on the other side. But lets say we're talking about women specifically being seen as average or slightly above avg by men, I honestly think race isn't that big a detriment. But think that to be more than average,…

Again, no argument there. All I'm saying is that we're in uncharted territory. It may not be all good at the end
/r/PurplePillDebate15/05/20 10:31 PM

Without question. It's the sinking overall birthrates in the industrialized world that is the anomaly. I should've been more specific
/r/PurplePillDebate15/05/20 10:19 PM
2

I don't think there's anything wrong with marriage rates going low because it's a bad deal for both parties. But birth rates dropping is very concerning at the society/government level. Without high numbers of future generations, many of the things society depends on will fall apart (like debt payments, social security, etc)
/r/PurplePillDebate15/05/20 08:21 PM
1

IMO It's not that lack of sex is naturally bad,, it's just that we've never seen anything like it. This is all virgin (*pun intended*) territory for human behavior at the society level
/r/PurplePillDebate15/05/20 08:17 PM
4

it's an insult but lots of husbands/boyfriends do it. Because it's less risky than rejection from their partners. To a lot of men, they're tired of rejection and the ego can't handle it any more.

Here's the catch ...even if women marry these losers ...they're doing it for money. Basically in tradcels little dream world women will prostitute themselves to get a better life for their kids. They still don't desire the bottom tier losers . They're going fuck him just long enough to get married, shit out a kid and then dead-bedroom the loser. If the loser has a problem with it and divorces .....he's still on the hook for child support. Agreed with these statements. Very reality based.

Without knowing more about you or him and going by who he was with physically vs you during your separation... I’ll talk just about things on the physical level. Athletic women are definitely better looking and conventionally sexy by cultural standards. But that being said larger women do have their perks sexually vs athletes. They’re much softer to the touch. Athletic or thin girls often feel hard and “all elbows.” Theres a higher level of femininity to them (up to a point) because if this soft…

Not disagreeing with any of your points but it should be noted that the number of available thirsty guys, at any age, is near infinite. Just like with men not getting what they want, both décès really, really need to put in the work. If a relationship is a dream we all gotta strive for it. There are, of course, a % of people that are completely unfuckable/unpairable but let’s not base things on the far margins

it's not loneliness that makes men clingy, it's that they are cruel and selfish and have a personality flaw, however, the fact that they are shitty people can indeed stop them from being able to make friends, so the worst ones are indeed without friends. That can absolutely be the case, you bring up a great point & counter argument. But yeah, for either explanation, testing for solid social circle is a good way to go. Edit #2 Oh, sorry to hear about that bad experience you've had. Let's hope it'…
/r/PurplePillDebate06/05/20 01:35 AM

So the thing with clingyness, guy or girl, is that it’s fundamentally about having a large black hole of loneliness inside. Something that makes them glomp on a romantic target for their lives. Avoiding them is actually quite easy but requires some legwork: check their social lives. See if they have a large friends circle. Especially poke around about a guy’s best friends. Do they have an active social life out and about and not online? Do people seek them out for fun times and company? No guara…

I've seen this as well. People grow up, men and women, and they bring things to the table. All that being said, to make things work a couple does need to have a physical attraction to each other. The mind finds a way.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/05/20 02:37 PM

I think online dating experience for hookups of not average to not so good looking women really makes them feel good. But these same women who are actually looking for LTR relationships, online dating is absolutely BRUTAL. Way worse than in offline environments because guys (and girls) aren't nearly as judgey in the physical.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/05/20 02:29 PM
1

really depends on the guy and their mind/body connection. Some guys need zero attraction to get erect. Others need their full feelings involved. It all varies by age too.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/04/20 09:40 PM

Free market capitalism. Let people do what they want and spend their money how they want as long as no one else is hurt. I do think people selling their images online should get a premium price since they basically set up a explosive that can go off later on in life. I personally don't think it's a good idea but to each their own

From my own personal observation, people with mental conditions definitely are able to date. But what's allowable is different by sex. I've noticed men being allowed to be narcissistic, controlling, abusive and even violent. But depression, that's not allowed to start dating or while even married. Married women do give their depressed men months to recover tho, but not forever. I've seen women be accepted with a large variety of mental health problems, men will put up with it. Not sure what ment…

Most people love their kids. 2) You'd be surprised how many women are stuck in dead bedrooms and upset about it too

This is a good argument that no matter what, someone will be unhappy. Maybe we'll come up with ways to get out of this trap where men and women are unhappy being alone

I think both men and women in general handle rejection very poorly. In most cultures the men are told to actively pursue so they experience rejection at higher rates. Building up confidence to pursue and rebuilding it after rejection are both hard to do.

Yeah this has been my experience too. I have quite a few genuine female friends that are worth their weight in gold

Sexual violence and overly controlling patriarchal cultures. Slavery, being bought & sold. Married off as children, etc.

It really *is* bad out there *online* but not *offline.* I've noticed most short guys I know (I'm 5'8'' so I guess me too?) they, to a man, compensate for it. It's not like on reddit, guys don't stop going for it. Several of them are heart breakers too. But they also don't waste time on girls who exclusively insist on tall. Then again, that might be a reddit/online thing too? It's at the extremes where things get dicey tho. The much taller girls and much shorter guys. They have challenges with t…

Great post and lots of thought provoking comments. Best discussion I've seen on this sub-reddit. All that being said, I think men/women/society is generally marching on just fine in terms of overall terms. Marriage laws need to change so men aren't so scared any more but other than that, I think culture will evolve on it's own. Unhappiness and Happiness can be a choice.

Pull the cord! Escape. Mind over body. When you like someone your brain makes them physically attractive. If they aren't attracted to you physically, they're struggling to like you mentally.

Everyone has it tough. Both sides. I self identify as a Buddhist and believe in reincarnation. So male/female/other, will have to experience it all.

I can only speak for myself and my friends/social circle: but *Hells Yeah* Personality can make people very eye catching. I don't know know how to explain it but Chemical X? People stand out in a group. Not always the prettiest. Smile? Energy? Something in the eyes? It's there, I can't put it into words.

u/Workaholico has been postulating that high N women generate such visceral disgust that many to most men have trouble even getting hard with them. This makes no sense physically. Only mentally if the man has the viewpoint that someone with lots of previous partners is gross. All that being said, attraction is so much about the mind, not the body. So it's really mostly about what's going on in people's heads. Most men don't think that way, and even if they do the penis still gets up for the figh…

Honestly: A high value woman is empathetic, nurturing and doesn't come with massive liabilities. Can be trusted with money and be trusted to make wise financial, health and hard life decisions. Responsible to handle emergencies and weather the bad times. Smart, educated, present and spiritual. Potential to be a great mother. Looks are greatly over-rated.
