According to the Bureau of Justice Statistics, nearly 1 in 10 men (9%) and 1 in 3 black men (28%) in America will spend time confined in a state or federal prison. To the best of my knowledge, these figures don't include jails, but according to this article (via wikipedia) although 4% of prison inmates reported being raped in prisons, still 3.2% of inmates in jails reported being raped, so this omission may be significant. Anyway: yes, this is a problem that affects a significant portion of the …

Are you really asserting that the vast majority of humanity suffers from a personality disorder? I think it's instinct, not narcissism.

I think I'm being misunderstood here. It sounds like the way you're interpreting my comment is basically the exact opposite of how I meant it. I was saying it sounds like this guy actually was thinking of letting his ex have this baby, despite the fact that he doesn't want to be involved with her, which is sort of amazing. But his concerns over potential future legal action, because he either doesn't trust her or is just protecting himself because of how the legal system works, kept him from let…

It's an unfortunate situation, but who's to say the man would have agreed to fertilization in the first place if she hadn't concurred with the "destroy the fetus if we divorce" clause?

I don't think you can really fault someone for preferring to raise children who were conceived from their own genes over adoption. You're sort of suggesting that any couple that works to conceive naturally instead of adopting or getting pregnant by accident is narcissistic.

Which, in all fairness, if the concern over child support is the only reason he wouldn't otherwise have let her have the baby, then that's sort of sad. Both as a commentary on our current legal environment and their relationship.

Lee had argued that she had a right to change the agreement, and that she had a right to procreate. While Lee might have a right to procreate in other circumstances, she doesn't have a right to procreate with Findley, the judge said. Wow. Well done, judge.

From one mod to another: you will only ever hear from the dissatisfied minority in your community. Don't let them get under your skin.

I'm gonna repeat this every time we get one of these videos: this content isn't appropriate to this subreddit. There wasn't any "pussy pass" getting "denied" in this video. This would fit better with /r/OneY

This is interesting but I don't see any "pussy pass" getting denied here. I think this would have made a lot more sense posted to /r/fatlogic.

This is interesting, but I don't think this belongs in this sub. This seems more appropriate to /r/OneY

More telling is her left shoulder. The way she hit the ground she would have stayed flat on her back if she was unconscious, but her left shoulder magically comes up off the ground rolling her into a more comfortable position lying on her side with her face resting on her arm.

Kept going back to how women have historically been oppressed and therefore deserve some special rights. A conversation you might consider engaging your wife in: What do you (her) think is the goal of feminism? Is it to establish equality between the sexes, in which case it's possible this goal has largely already been achieved in the west, or is it to establish for women "special rights" which they are historically entitled to? If the goal is to establish "special rights," is there a point afte…
