What about this video indicates that she was going to say she was abused?

How does her getting a knife imply that she’s going to say he did it? That’s a reach. This isn’t PPD, this is r/trashy

Not really...she was raging. We legit have no evidence she was claiming abuse. She’s just crazy.

I mean can’t she also take the opportunity to walk away, now? Why didn’t she get the opportunity to walk away? Why didn’t he get the benefit of the doubt after calming down when he did what she did? He’s totally wrong for what he did. But she’s also wrong as fuck.

It’s definitely cringy to add race to random statements when it adds nothing to that statement. You can talk about race without being racist. But we weren’t talking about race and YOU added it for no reason.
/r/PussyPassDenied14/12/19 07:05 PM
2

I didn’t say it was racist. I didn’t say you were racist. Yeah it’s perfectly fine if you don’t know why it’s a cringy detail time add since it adds nothing to the point. But yeah...

You don’t get it. And you’re really hung up on that “woke” word dude. I’d also latch onto things if I had no real defense. “The white man ate pie” What a stupid fucking detail lmao
/r/PussyPassDenied14/12/19 06:57 PM
-3

Lol right, see what I mean? You’re doing that thing. “Noting race isn’t bad, that’s all I was doing. YOU’RE the racist for noticing” I love that one. Again. There’s no REASON for the detail. Do you know what details are for? To give relevant information. There was nothing relevant about their race yet you attributed a random detail. Again, you fail at seeing why it was pointless If you think I’m ignoring race then you’re an idiot who is still proving my point “That white guy ate a sandwich” See …

I’m making a big deal because you fail to come up with a reason as to why you added it as a detail. That type of detail has a history, so I’m not ignoring it. I’m telling you that saying things like “that Asian driver was bad” can sound really bad out loud. Maybe say “that driver was bad”? See how words work? If you don’t understand why adding that detail was stupid then you probably know why that detail was stupid but I’m guessing you’re too over that to concede to how language works. But it’s …

Lmao you don’t understand what I meant. Why is it important that they’re black? Realistic question. Because I would have just said “she got there by fucking ever more successful men” “FuCk OfF iTs A nECeSsArY dEtAiL”

In a courtroom the judge has ultimate power. If you sneeze wrong and the judge seems it contemptuous then you can be removed and or punished. It’s really dumb and archaic. But there’s really no other way to regulate what “contempt of court” is. Essentially if you voluntarily go into a courtroom you’re subject to consequences. It’s an agreement you make for going.
/r/PussyPassDenied13/03/19 04:11 PM

Because contempt of court is up to interpretation of the judge

Ah, you've totally convinced me with your rationalism. /s You've found the fastest way to get another person to completely dismiss your point. Congrats. You can blame her for the actions of the boy, but she still did nothing to contribute to him physically committing suicide. clearly I know what I'm saying Right. Because if you're a judge, you're automatically right about every decision you make. Go fuck yourself kid

Can that be proved beyond a reasonable doubt? Of course not, he got into the vehicle in the FIRST place.

She was right in the middle of the situation, voluntarily. She knew it was happening as it happened. She had multiple opportunities to do something, and multiple options I don't disagree that she had many alternative approaches. I'm saying that just because you're in a situation does not/should not obligate you to do something. If you witness a robbery and do nothing about it, should you be at fault? I fully understand that she was aware of the situation and instigated. What if she hadn't said a…

Her inaction in failing to intervene Her actions put her in a legal obligation to intervene This is where the problem lies. The burden of someone committing suicide should not rest on other people. Unless there's a direct, basically physical, connection no one but the individual is/should be at fault. Telling people that they have to do certain things to protect others is a slippery slope. Maybe if he had jumped off a bridge she wouldn't be on trial Now the mode of suicide matters? There's no co…

I would hope so. Otherwise this is based on principle and nothing consistent. You can't quantify relationships. Where's the line end?

You made a strong case with that one
/r/PussyPassDenied18/07/17 08:42 PM

So she's just set the standard for all future cases? If someone is in love with you or affectionally cares about you, telling to the kill themselves is illegal?
/r/PussyPassDenied18/07/17 08:20 PM
-1

My question would be, where does it end? How do we quantify the impact or weight of any given relationship? At the point it would be up for judgement, which to me, is not how our legal system ought to be. Beyond a reasonable doubt or nothing at all.

There's a difference between a medically trained professional telling someone to kill themselves than some teenager. I think that this just opens a can of worms for what we can and can't say to people in regards to what they may actually do. However, considering that you can't yell "fire" in a public area may be along the same lines as this. I do think there should be a punishment. But I think it's more important to note that ultimately he did t to himself.

I don't know about this. What she did was reckless, immature, and very inhumane. However I personally don't think that anyone should be held accountable for the actions of another person. If I tell someone to jump off a bridge and they do it, that's not my fault. They ultimately chose to do so. Granted he was in an unstable state, that doesn't account for much. A person who legitimately wants to kill themselves will do it regardless. It's extremely unfortunate. If we consider that he was unstabl…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
