I'm still not going to start playing the guitar just to pick up chicks. It sounds like a job, to me anyway. No. I would rather play the violin or piano I think. I wonder if chicks still dig that?

So, I went through a really bad blushing stage not that long ago. It was actually one of the weirdest things, because I never blushed before. Please keep in mind that I'm 23 and this was a couple years ago. At the time, I had never experienced this before. Thing was, it was such an embarrassing experience to me that after it happened once, it would not stop and anything would trigger it. And when I say bad, I mean real bad. And it wasn't just girls either, it was everyone. I actually could not d…

You're absolutely right. Personally I don't think upvotes/downvotes mean a whole lot. It's probably just because I was the first to post.

As a man, you gotta be the initiator. 90% of women will not jeopardize their feelings and go out on a limb. They need a concrete guy that can make the big decisions and then roll with the punches when things go awry. You'd be surprised how powerful being an initially strong figure in a girls life can be. They almost never get over you after that. First impressions are everything and don't you forget it.

Only read TL;DR but yes, I concur. This further demonstrates your value. Best thing is to put the effort into actually having value, like you said, keeping busy. And not just pretending to be valuable.

You know what your problem is? You're expecting too much. When you know a girl isn't interested in you, you have no reason to expect anything. Then, when a girl is showing you interest, you shut down because all of a sudden you feel like you have to impress her. This is where you fail. You fail because you're too focused on "what does she want.. what does she want.." when actually she just wants you and not what you think she wants. Also, ditch the "Alpha" attitude. Alpha's don't think about shi…

Everyone's got some pretty good advice here. Problem is, it's completely useless now because it's all said and done with. What am I getting at? Don't let this situation happen again, it's 95% within your control.

This is the one problem I have with PUA. Which is exactly how your last sentence described. I get a bad feeling thinking/reading of ways to "trick" girls into fucking. But, then I feel better knowing it just matters how you use it. I think it's healthy to understand how to be more genuinely attractive, there's no harm in that. But going out there emulating what other guys are doing trying to obtain the same results just comes off as weird. The quote, "attraction is not a choice" always came off …

Because honesty requires more depth they're not willing to give. It takes too much emotional energy to tell every-single-guy exactly why they don't want to continue a relationship.

Patience is waiting, but without the waiting. Perfect explanation. Time does not exist while being patient.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
