Of course you're equating the two. If you're not, why even bring up female mutilation? Please show where I made a straw man fallacy. Are you even certain what that means? Point being, you fucking coward, is that you wouldn't dare speak about "mutilation" to a woman in the same context. And yes, I'm quite happily circumcised. I'm guessing I just don't have the insecurity about my dick that all you guys seem to.

Now we're talking! I had no idea what you were referring to. I'm horrified that that sort of argument was even put forth. Medical professionals do use painkillers. A cursory Google search will find plenty of papers discussing it. Linked to PTSD? Give me a few sources and I would be glad to look at it. After all, this is a decision I may soon face. What about shooting a baby in the foot with a needle (for vaccinations)? That seems to be a bit of pain that we're all (except some nutcases) willing …

I didn't.........huh? I maybe see where you're coming from there....not quite. I used "whole" to refer back to the posters comment, not as an insult. Must be a misunderstanding here. In either case, referring to a man as "whole" or not "whole" is a bit of an insult and it can come off as, "I'm better than you.". Let's not do that.

Using lube to fap is common enough because it's plenty fun. I think it's just my personal hang-up about being messy that makes me feel that it's unnecessary. In any case, I don't think us cut guys need lube. I would argue that you're doing something wrong in the first place if you have to "pound like a jackhammer" to get off. I put that down to lack of experience and maybe too many pornos influencing their idea of how sex should go. The "reduced friction" thing though? Maybe that's something I d…

Great! A woman finally chimes in! Let me say that you're the first woman I've ever talked to that has no problem with an uncut penis. Most American women (just my experience, not a statistical fact) find a foreskin unattractive. And yes, 100% of the women I've asked about circumcision find it ludicrous that a grown man would whine about it. Thanks for bringing a woman's POV to the table.

You've lost me. I think you're thinking that I have some background in what you're talking about. "Pricking the genitalia"? Not sure what you're referring to there. You're not aware that medical professionals use pain killers? They do. A Google search will quickly show what they use and how they use it. The infant does feel some pain from this. I am unconcerned. It was done to me and I certainly don't remember it and I'm glad it was done. If my baby turns out to be a boy, he's getting cut. Pleas…

Thanks for the answer! I've had this brought up to me before and I'm mystified. Not one time in five hundred have I used lube. I hear all the jokes about it, but I've never found it necessary. In fact I find it messy, but always thought that was just a hangup of mine. I do just fine without.

Have your glans removed and we'll talk about genital mutilation. Better yet, bring this subject up with a woman and explain your feelings, i.e. that circumcision is the same as cutting a girl's clitoris off. Backed into a corner now aren't we?

Hey, I agree that young boys shouldn't be circumcised and that "clerics" and religion should have no part in it. But calling yourself a "whole human" comes off as demeaning to any man who is circumcised. I'm not insulted, but a lot of these guys will get even more butthurt about it with comments like that. They seem to think their penis is somehow diminished. I'd really be interested in your opinion as to why it's better to be "whole". That's not a challenge, just an honest question. I can't see…

An ad hominem argument is attacking the person in lieu of facing the argument. I'm not attacking anyone with this particular statement (though I do in other comments). I'm simply stating my opinion, and it is based on experience. I'm 41 and I've never in my life heard such bullshit as this "mutilation" nonsense.

Find me a woman that finds an uncut penis attractive. Thank god I didn't have to deal with it as an adult. I should note that circumcision should only be done to infants, not boys, and not by clergy. Find a woman friend. Explain to her that you were "mutilated". Explain that this is in the same class as her having her clitoris removed. Hilarity ensues. Find another woman and explain to her that you dick is somehow diminished and will never work properly again. More hilarity.

It's a losing battle my man. I've come to the conclusion that these guys are a bunch of teenagers that have been told that they should be outraged. Next month I find out if our child is a boy or a girl. There's not even a discussion to be had. If it's a boy, he's getting cut. He/she is also getting vaccinated, but there's nuts out there that think that's a bad thing too.

Cry me a river kid. Sorry about your broken pee-pee, but I'm cut and mine works fine.

I'm curious as to whether you've confronted your parents about how they "victimized" and "mutilated" you. I'd really like to be a fly on the wall for that conversation.

Your username speaks volumes. Of course I don't know you but I can say one thing about you for certain. You're not a victim.

Oh, believe me, I would insult this guy to his face all day long. This is the whiniest thing I think I've ever fucking heard of. I must be really out of touch. I had no idea that all these men were crying about their "lost manhood".

I apologize. I sincerely do. I have a difficult time imagining that some men take it so hard. I'm also astonished. I'm also a "victim" as you class us cut boys. Here was my response to a remark about circumcision in another group: My parents did it to me (non-religious reasons) and I'm very thankful. We could argue hygienic reasons, but I've never had any of those potential problems and never will. Never had any problems with sensitivity and I wonder if those guys who claim to just don't know an…

God I hope you're trolling. I somehow get the idea from this group that some people really feel that way.

Nope. My parents did it to me (non-religious reasons) and I'm very thankful. We could argue hygienic reasons, but I've never had any of those potential problems and never will. Never had any problems with sensitivity and I wonder if those guys who claim to just don't know any better and maybe think it should be more sensitive. Never had a girl who said she preferred her man un-cut. And speaking to that point, I've rarely seen a porn with an uncut man, and, in fact, have never known a woman that …

No it's not offensive to me in the tiniest, littlest bit. I honestly don't understand the outrage over circumcision.

I'm circumcised and this is the biggest load of crap I've ever read. Makes it harder to masturbate?!? Who the fuck believes this shit?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
