I notice that a lot of the models are still wearing a tiny bit of makeup in the "no makeup" shots.

This is completely true. I do think one problem with this (or not a problem, more of an observation) is that a HUGE portion of the guys who claim they like girls without makeup are only saying so because they don't actually see women without makeup. A girl will be wearing mascara, concealer, bb cream, they'll have tightlined their eyes, and a guy will think she has no makeup on, therefore thinking that's what girls look like without makeup when in reality they almost never see a bare-faced woman…

THIS. A woman's best years to find a quality man is in her early to mid twenties. Don't make her waste it on someone who doesn't want long term commitment. That's stealing the best years of her life.

I disagree with what everyone is saying about her five date rule. You say she has had only one 6 year long relationship and is conservative. A five date rule makes sense for her. I understand AWALT but it doesn't help to be so cynical that you assume EVERY woman is lying. Somewhere, somehow, there will be a woman that is NOT lying and really DOES follow their "five date rule" or whatever it is for them. If you have reason and evidence to believe she really is conservative, then cool. TRP after a…

I'm a girl, hence the reference to RPW.

Just curious, do you actually tell them to stay thin or do you mean you encourage them to stay healthy and active?

Yes, I'd actually like to know more about this too. If a girl really does have an extremely low partner count and wants to wait until exclusivity, how does she convey this properly? How can she convince the guy that she's not lying? I'd assume it's a case by case thing, but it seems no one has reached consensus here.

It's a jazz band, I think it's alright in this case.

Can I ask what you do, skincare-wise, to stay young? What's your routine, what do you use? You may not be doing as much for your skin as you think are, which can make a huge difference.

With all due respect, as someone who claims to have "RBF", it's not an entitlement thing. It's HONESTLY just the way some people's faces sit seems to have an angry or sad look on their face. I'm constantly asked if I'm "mad" or "okay" when it's simply just the way my facial features rest when I have no emotion. It has nothing to do with societal standards or entitlement.

The article was written after they were already divorced.

What...? You sent her that ENTIRE paragraph? Good god. I would advise against ever doing that again. If you needed to get your point across it should've been short, effective, and concise.

Thanks for your advice!! It was thorough, I appreciate it. :) since you were an esthetician, I was wondering if I could ask you a few more questions if you don't mind, can I PM you?

Do you have any recommendations for retinols? I don't know much about them and I tend to have dry, sensitive skin so I'm not sure how to start to ease into them. And for anyone else reading this comment, any suggestions, tips, or recommendations regarding retinols?

Thanks for the reply! :) I'm definitely gonna give cetaphil facial cleanser a shot. Question though, I have mild-ish acne that I've been trying, to no avail, to get rid of, so I've been trying to use facial cleansers specifically for acne. Should I continue to do that instead or try cetaphil?

How do you do that without looking like your twitching, though? I feel like if I tried doing that to a guy he'd wonder what why my eye kept twitching.

Oh okay, that makes more sense. I originally thought you meant that one should do both. You're right, though.

I disagree. "I''ll make other plans. Take care." is where you should end it. If you say that, then double text a few hours later reaffirming that you did, in fact, make other plans, it makes you look clingy and bitter in the eyes of the girl. Like you're bitter and have to throw it in their faces so they "know what they're missing". Girls know when guys are doing that. Saying the first line then saying nothing after that is the best course of action.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
