I mean... I haven't had sex outside a committed situation. Lost virginity to my ex fiance. Both other people had to wait 3+ months.

I stated that in the post... If I don't like someone it's a quick walk if I do I hold hands there are 2 person swing sets I've gone on. I specifically said I still show affection but I won't have sex. I think so many conflicts in this sub is due to projecting into what people say. But even so - as a women we do get accused of leading people on if we hold hands but don't have sex if we realize incompatibility and sometimes - unfortunately due to a subset of men that are constantly in the dating s…

I didn't say it was a pissing contest. Just that it's not relevant because the level of grooming/time/money at a base level to work a job in the same pay range is completely different. That can be frustrating and devolving a conversation where women are talking about how that's frustrating and annoying doing xyz into but men have to do x - kinda sucks. You aren't adding. Your taking away from the conversation. Intentionally or not.

I guess I misread/misunderstood your point then. I do spend most my dates enjoying time handholding and stuff. Probably date 3 I try to ask about life goals (I want to get married and am also childfree) if those aren't aligned I'm honest about where I'm at and offer to be friends. Date 5 I'll usually ask if they are open to more commitment ect. 1st dates are usually this local tourist town 15 minutes away. Small walkable. Can expand into the little outdoor arcade and a bit of hiking or even food…

I don't feel used. I just don't see the point in having sex (it's something vulnerable and connective) if I don't see things long term... Like no I won't have sex if it turns out your fine with having sex outside of commitment cause it shows your value system isn't the same. Like having sex has so many risks. If I can't see commitment with you why would I risk something that can create 18+ years of commitment on it's own... And anybody who is okay with having those risks with people that they ar…

I can be attracted to you... But I won't have sex without commitment. So if you aren't wanting to settle down if I like you as a person I'm cool with being friends. But I won't have sex or entertain that aspect. Idk. Dudes who enjoy casual get friend zoned for me.

In my experience yes... It's also more likely those dudes will go I'm older so I know the right way. Sounds great right? But so much development happens in that time and it can actually mess that ability to be independent up. Being told what to do vs developing problem solving. Learning to think independently. Learning how to relationship. Learning the balance between connection and space. Learning to figure out what you want. Dating someone who already went through that can sometimes screw with…

It's not the same type..I'm dating older. Have dated multiple. Guys who date younger are different then young guys who have issues... They are set in their stuff more and young guys are still learning and it's general immaturity vs stubborn immaturity. Idk. I've never been devalued the same by a younger guy. Manipulation is something older guys do better. Idk. It's just a thing. And sometimes normal 20 year old women behaviors gets judged and abused for. Miscommunications (takes time to learn) l…
