You're right when things are going well for you or when you're seen to be doing things that seem socially respectable.....but, when things go wrong in your ordinary life, it can be a little different. I'm 51 and speaking from experience - I was previously mega successful in the business world and am still partially respected in social circles...yet... This post makes sense. Whilst you're doing well or even doing ok, everyone (pretends to) care(s) about you. But when you're really down, be it onl…

If you really mean it, google James Altucher and whatever key words come to mind. It's a dark place where you might be, but it can be bright on the other side.

Agree with all the above. Btw I'm 51, having first sampled it 4 years ago as a "have a laugh" suggestion from a friend. Pros and Cons: Bad news first: If you take more than a quarter pill, you're in for a massive headache (up to 48 hours). It takes 90 minutes ideally, (30/40 mins to get started) to have a full (pun intended) effect. Alcohol slows it all down a bit, but still works. Thanks for all you've done for me, my sons, other men and the odd woman (be it temporarily). There used to be a site "A Dark Heart", that I used to read along with you and with the other 2 Rs. How can one re-read some of the essays? PS. The 3Rs and the Private Man have made me laugh a lot. Cheers Gentlemen!

You have a good point there. Enjoying other women should be done mysteriously to stimulate their imagination and not humiliate them. I made that mistake once. I have found in the past that if I work on my self, yet still struck with a little "one-itis", that I wasn't naturally improving myself to the perception of the woman in question.

From my experience (M49), both of you are quite right. Having upped your value over a period of time along with "no contact", you will have amassed so many options (abundance mentality), that you no longer care. This often only enhances the woman's interest (pestering) and consequently causes you to want her even less. Thereby, can you not only escape, but come out triumphant - not in the sense that you got your revenge, but that you found better options. It does however, take time and hard work…

Good suggestions. What ever happened to "a dark heart"? That was probably the very best.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
