That is a separate issue, and one that deserves it's own debate. Workplace deaths are typically in physical labour positions which males are preferentially given (often due to real performance restrictions which women can't always meet). Even so, they are usually good paying jobs to compensate for risk factors, and women are discriminated against in those work places. Likely, the workplace death statistics would be less skewed if the hiring practices were less skewed.
