I see your point, yet you should know how it usually works - if you're different (e.g., a man in a women-dominated sphere, as you said), you will be either above all of that drama and people will look up to you, trusting and putting you in charge of important tasks even if your nominal position is no different (if you're high-status), or become an outcast, a pariah (if you're a low-status beta). Thank you for the insights, Vasiliy. I've been reading your posts for quite a while, and, as a Russian myself, was interested in what background you've got. I mean, Vasiliy Zaitzev isn't necessarily a nickname a non-Russian would lock, so one has to have some Russian background to get there, but your posts seemed too self-aware for a 100% Russian.
