What is the point of her secrecy? Control. Get your own lawyer and get ready to fight.

She is the victim. Laughable. Her husband had self respect and a backbone. There are no second chances. She is so happy with her current boyfriend that she is lamenting about how her husband severed all contact with her and she has no closure. How she wished her and her husband could have worked it out as other weaker men in similar marriages had. Accountability, responsibility and truth are kryptonite to women everywhere.

Your ex did an excellent job of villainizing himself. You wanted to keep your family intact. A lot of people do in poor situations. You likely may find common ground with whomever you decide to engage with so many contentious divorces.

No impact on alimony, child support or custody. A misdemeanor and a $10 fine. This must give a lot of cheats so many sleepless nights. The overall point - the law doesn't give a shit about adultery in an at fault state much less a no fault state.

Well if the infidelity is yours then you will have a bit of a challenge on your hands in that case. Infidelity is usually a deal breaker especially if the man you are interested in has been betrayed in a similar fashion. Deception of any kind related to it will also wreck your efforts. If the man doesn't ask you hard questions you shouldn't rest easy either. Him not asking questions means he has skeletons in his own closet and you will likely be in for a rude surprise. I do not know you so I wil…

link "Maryland is a fault-based state, and adultery is one of the legal grounds for divorce. However, judges do not typically give a lot of weight to adultery because it can be difficult to prove and often involves hearsay. Only adultery which is proven may impact divorce litigation." "Maryland law prohibits adultery. Adultery is a misdemeanor offense punishable by a $10 fine; however, prosecutions for adultery are rare." TIL that in Maryland, the penalty for adultery is a $10 fine Section 10-50…

The right time to discuss the past... There really isn't ever a good time if you are worried about what they will think. When you are asked about it. Some men have a turbulent past of their own and like to know who they are getting involved with early to avoid repeating past. If you are not asked but you are getting serious it is better sooner rather than later. Why? They will either accept you or judge you and move on. The last thing you will want is to invest heavily in someone emotionally and…

Nobody wastes time on adultery with the exception of a few states. Even then there is a considerable burden of proof that is required. Time and money are also required and many lawyers advise not to pursue it. Adultery has little or no consequences legally for those indulging in a no fault state. Practical consequences are another matter. Cheating spouses do not like to know their betrayed spouses are having sex with others. They get jealous and difficult and like to complicate the divorce proce…

Living together for 2 years is terrible advice. Depending on where you live that period of cohabitation will be recognized by the law as common law. You may not be married to her but you might as well be as far as the law is concerned. She will have legal rights just as if she were your wife. She can still leave with half of everything without being married to you. Marriage is a bad business deal for a man regardless of what precautions a man choses to take. All she has to do is make a false all…

The more things change the more they stay the same. Stay single and keep all that you have worked for.

Yes. All this. Avoid her as much as possible. You don't even have to be cold or cruel about it. Lie to her face. You aren't feeling well, you are working late, etc. Whatever bullshit you think she will believe. Find other places to be.

Still a risky business if you don't wife them up. Even if you are a one and done man bringing your own condoms. Leave as little as possible to chance and trust them as far as you can throw them. Would recommend you see what you can find on tiktok. Such dating prospects put their worst behaviour and entitlement on display for all to see. The following bloke has a channel that may be of interest. He analyses and pokes fun at such videos. link At the very least you may have a good laugh.

Why stay away from single moms? Use your ex wife as an example. A great many are all about what you bring to the table while they typically bring nothing at all but the baggage from the marriage they chose to destroy and their kids. As a man you will be selected to be wallet and a baby sitter while she will continue to actively search for the next upgrade. Even if this is not the case you will still come second to her kids. How do you discipline her kids? What about the ex husband and all the ot…
