Heavy on the female validation. I notice a lot of these guys don't even make remotely unbiased or original takes, they just regurgitate the same influencer bs that a lot of women get wet over. You rarely ever see these people adress issues in a productive way that isn't just ''actually women are right for hating men!"

I blame the current rhetoric around rape culture. Teach men their whole lives that they're potential rapists and never victims and then act surprised that this is their reaction.

Will try to find it but there's a fairly recent case of a famous woman openly talking about how she raped a teenage boy who ''repeatedly said no'' while they were in the cinema. She basically spends the whole video bragging and laughing about it.

I totally feel you dude. If it's any hope it's that I just consider the fact we don't need to interact with any of these hypocritical misandrist women. As long as we give our time and care to good people (men or women), I feel we're doing our part. Trying to argue or be frustrated with the piss for brains folk that live in echo chambers designed to repeatedly tell them that every problem they've ever faced is because of men and not any fault of their own is completely meaningless. Living with su…

Was gonna say this, I think political discourse is WELL outdated and tribal nowadays. We need so much more nuance than ''left and right'' politics. It's actually almost disgusting how oversimplified people's political ideologies are nowadays

I wouldn't call it 'grooming' in the typical sense. But it definitely has similar undertones when you consider using ''incel'' to describe younger boys. The impact is going to be that boys of younger and younger ages are going to think they need to have sex to have self worth. Which increases the likelihood of them being groomed by older women (and teachers). "on the internet" I never mentioned ''on the Internet'', this happens irl too. Should every male who calls any underaged girl "slut," anyw…

Because you're inherently suggesting that the fact they're unable to get sex is somehow a negative trait. EVEN as a child. It's a ridiculous term to use for minors.

Not sure about this question, but an example of what the other guy said is the women's association in India actively rallying and lobbying to stop gender neutral rape laws being a thing. They did not want the government to recognise female-on-male rape because it could ''take light away from female victims''. Deep that for a minute.

I don't think we should down play anyone's issues tbh. The example you use here, yes going to war and being treated like a pawn is bad, but so is being seen as nothing but a home servant. Why not just accept men and women BOTH have their own issues? That's part of what men's rights advocacy is about. Recognising nobody has it better.

Oh absolutely, completely get your point & motive. Just pointing out that such exaggerations are just that, exaggerations. You'll often find feminists take exaggerations like this as if they were the actual reality and not exaggerations lmao. And even then it's not enough to warrant saying ''too many men''. Great post.

This, and despite your very generous estimates here. The actual split of male to female perpetrators is much closer to 65% male and 35% female. I can give figures if you'd like but a big reason it's never shown that way is because rape laws don't classify female perpetrated forced sex as ''rape''. So stats show men as 99% pepetrators of rape despite how untrue that is.

same weight or social stigma Or even the same sentencing in most cases.
/r/MensRights14/09/25 09:10 PM

Hit the nail on the head. In the US, UK and many other countries, a woman forcing a man to have sex isn't defined as ''rape'' it's defined as ''made to penetrate''. When you account for that, a CDC study in 2016/17 found men made up 40% of rape victims which were 80% perpetrated by women. Oh and before you let anyone say ''that's the patriarchy's fault'', guess who had literal protests against gender-neutral rape laws in india? That's right 80+ feminist organisations

My thoughts and prayers go out to your brother. You'd be surprised how common suicidality is among young boys nowadays. Incels report having suicidal thoughts several times a week (compared to once or twice a year for the general populace), and a large part of this is because they believe they were born into a world that doesn't want them. The rampant ''harmless'' misandry in the media has genuinely contributed to rising suicide rates amongst young men. My older sister is in a similar boat to yo…

I respect what you're saying and I can tell that you seem to actually care about mens' issues. I don't nessecarily agree with the guy above's comment but I can understand why a lot of young men feel this way nowadays. There's rampant misogyny and misandry online, however the key difference is misogyny is usually called out by women and men and is considered a real issue. Misandry is often downplayed, belittled and excused because it's seen as ''reactionary''. You also very rarely see women or se…

Quite literally this, in the common misconception form of feminism meaning ''equality for both genders'' missing out the ''via empowerment of women'' sure, you could be both. But the reality is, being a feminist means Not seeing men as disadvantaged in any way Any percieved disadvantage of males is actually just the negative side effects of a system made to put them in power and advantage them (because that makes sense) Any and all issues women face are all always explained as a direct result of…

As a victim of this kind of thing I can 100% assure you none of those people really understand the consequences of that kind of thing. A large part of why that happens is due to societal attitudes towards men and women. Men are inherently seen to be worth less than women. Hence getting a man as a woman isn't anything to be proud of and sometimes shamed. Whereas ''getting women'' as a man is something that's praised, even in these awful situations. Slut-shaming is basically a by-product of the fa…

Guys make up a large portion of reported and convicted sexual assault cases. think its like 80~90 male to 10% female I still find it hilarious how misused this statistic is. It's such an incredibly simple detail people overlook. This statistic does not indicate how likely a guy is to be a sexual predator, but indicates how likely a sexual predator is to be a guy. Which are two COMPLETELY different things. Edit:typo

While I don't deny that it happens to girls more this idea that it's insignificantly less with boys is a bit ridiculous. Also to note, a lot of catcalling experiences happen with young girls, like secondary school teenagers. This is not something boys are likely to ever experience You're saying to someone who has been a victim of this stuff during highschool. And relatively frequently at that. In fact in a particular incident a pair of older women sat near me on a bus and refused to stop putting…

Harassment is genderless, issue is with catcalling it's something men do at staggeringly higher rates than women Any actual backing for this? Because my personal experience has been very different. Think it happens to men a decent amount by women but they just tend not to report it as ''cat-calling". Personally I've been cat-called quite frequently by women my whole life and I've never been comfortable with it.

Honestly? I think just holding men and women to the same standards. Like quite literally that simple, nowadays it feels like guys get held to completely different standards compared to women. Which is why you'll often see the argument ''if a man did this People would hate it'', Which I'll admit isn't always a valid argument, but honestly? 90% of the time it is. So essentially try think about how a situation might look if you swapped the genders and if you'd still be okay with it. (Granted, there…

I guess just see (and encourage others to see) men as individuals and human beings? There's a lot of fear-mongering in this day and age, that especially affects younger boys negatively. Take the men vs bear debate, I dob't think it'd really positively affect young boys to see that people think they're scarier and more dangerous than wild bears, do you? (When literally everything points to you actually being SAFER in a forest with a man than alone)

It's actually laughable how much feminists misunderstand the whole male loneliness epidemic thing. For men it literally has fuck all to do with ''women staying away from them''. It's about men being isolated from social circles (often due to their relationships) and that leading to an increased risk of suicide. So it's no surprise they know fuck all when it comes to the female loneliness epidemic. They're all so used to saying ''men did it to themselves'' that they genuinely don't want to addres…

Apart from the fact nobody says the last three. You're completely strawmanning. At no point did I say those comments towards women are ok. We should all be working to call out the problematic behaviour of victim blaming and excusing rapists. So can you explain to me why the fuck you think perpetuating it is excusable or a Good idea? Hey yeah so maybe it's a fucking bad idea to use ''satire'' on victims of rape. Imagine a bunch of men commenting: ''woman up'', ''good riddance'', ''women should talk more","#killallwomen". On a post about a female suicide victim? But haha funny satire so it's okay! Get a grip.

/r/MensRights04/06/25 01:12 AM

I think you're quite mistaken on this. The ''male loneliness epidemic'' actually has very little to do with dating or women. It's much more to do with a lot of men (especially younger and older men) being isolated from social networks (that mainly means other men). This isolation is closely linked to the high suicide rate among men of those ages. Please spread the word that it has almost NOTHING to do with ''men not being able to date women''

Very well said, others will give you as much value as you give yourself. Men need to be taught their purpose outside of just being ''good for women'', they need to learn to be good for themselves and each other first.

I think men and boys face a lot of issues, but I think false allegations fall pretty far down on the list. I'm not saying such a thing isn't an issue there's just a lot more important issues that affect a LOT of men. For e.g the homelessness crisis, domestic violence, workplace fatalities, the health crisis. It's important to sort things out in order of priority.

Unfortunately true. My gf's uncle recently got divorced by his wife (who just happened to meet another guy at the same time) and she brings home younger guys every other week. To his house. Did I mention they have kids? Oh and the fact he has cancer? Not gonna say whether or not it's actually that common, but this is my personal experience.

I wanna address everything you said in detail but forgive me if I miss anything I have pretty bad ADHD. Women still earn less than men on average. In the UK, for instance, women earned around 90p for every £1 men earned in 2023 — and the gap is wider for women of color. While this is true on average, if you look at the data for young women and men (the ones more likely to be affected by pushes for pay equality). I fully agree with this. I hold a firm belief that no human is born "evil" hence why criminals always have a link back to some sort of childhood trauma or poverty of essential things we see in non-criminal members of society, occasionally it being due to a mental disability. So my guess as to why males are "more violent" and show "more misconduct" in society than woman is due to a greater magnitude of childhood neglect. Where girls would be comforted and guided no matter what terrible situation …

You're idea to "educate men not to rape" you do understand the implications of that right? That everyday boys and men are all potential sexual predators? And that actual predators aren't simply extreme cases? In that case do we start educating women against pedophilia and blacks against being criminals? None of that seems ok no? So a mother having her son carry a sign that inherently discriminates against him for a random trait he was given before birth is disgudting no matter the context given.
/r/AntiFeminists04/04/21 01:38 PM

That logic is nothing but idealistic. Crime rates are above 0% do you think people protesting for "criminals to stop being criminals" is going to change anything? Or does it only matter because women are the victims in your case? Because I can assure you the rate that it happens to men is also above 0%.

If i get what you're saying. It says women are more LIKELY to go into depression yet men make up the majority of depressed people? If so, the reason is probably because girls' mental health is catered to more and they are more taken care of mentally. Which means even if they are more likely to get depressed than men the are MUCH more likely to get out of depression. Whereas majority of men that go into depression stay there.
/r/AntiFeminists21/07/20 09:37 PM

Because women are more likely to leave depression. Because they are more catered to mentally than men. Just like women are more likely to attempt suicide than men yet men make are 4x more likely to succeed.

They think every man has "oppressed" a woman or something like that? so they HAVE to make up for it by treating them? (Sounds like just a lot of self-victimizing to me) That was the logic i was seeing.

Yeah but mutual trust wont let the woman have complete control over the man and wont allow for her to guilt trip her partner for "not being a man" when he wants equal treatment.

No dude. (Im guessing this was a pro-feminist subreddit) its just that on a lot of them subs any comment that isnt mindlessly agreeing with/supporting the post. Results in a ban. I got banned for saying that bringing up all the UNCONFIRMED rape allegations FROM YEARS AGO on Kobe RIGHT AFTER HIS DEATH was a a tad bit disrespectful to his family and loved ones.

At least TRY to give a valid argument. Come on this isnt r/feminism you wont get banned for making a in/valid argument.

Not the woman's body either. The body belongs to the unborn child.

Saw this one thing where a woman. Decided to accuse her boyfriend of rape (after she cheated on him) because he promised to marry her if they did IT (obviously he broke up with her). Worst part was there were people supporting her telling her to rip up her own clothes and tell the police he forced himself on her. Because they knew the police wouldnt side with her.

This is so confusing. But nice job.

Seems like any comments disagreeing with the post result in a ban. I didnt even say anything bad just pointed out that any comments that even slightly disagree with them (even with a fair arguement) get downvoted to hell

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
