Ever since the early 90's (when I started taking an interest in the subject), about once a year I have been hearing about male contraceptive pills that are nearly ready for market, but we still don't have one. I just got a vasectomy don't care anymore, although I would be good to know both my daughter and son had something available to them.

I really worry about the future for my son. People say teach your boys not to rape, don't worry I will and I will teach my girl not to make false allegations.

They have this my city (perth Australia), and they say it is advisory only, there is no enforcement of it. It's a bit ridiculous as pretty much all car parks are fully automated and unattended so there is no on site security, so if something did happen, there is a reasonable chance that some male good samaratin might step in, but now there is any other women who are unlikely to step in

Plenty of musicians are now recording and producing their own albums them selves, in their own home studios. Making music has gotten cheaper, easier and more accesible.

Kathy Griffin should be grateful anyone is willing to pay her any money, I thought her career was over.

They have these in the public car parks (ie run by the government), they say it is just a courtesy and that there is no enforcement of it.

language is funny - to me in Australia nursery means a place that sells plants. (and I have young kids so it's not outside of my world)

I don't imagine radical feminists have a lot of men that want to date them.

Also keep your cool. Take the high road, don't yell swear or do anything it will look really good for you in the aftermath.

As a white guy with a white baby boy this really pisses me off. It pisses me off even more when I think about how much harder his life is going to be than his sisters.

Sexual harassment and sexual assault should never be lumped in together they are very different and the main reason for joining them is to inflate the stats.

The IVF clinic dropped the ball on this one and should be punished. This happens a lot it's a foreseeable event that every IVF clinic knows about. IVF is stressful and does ruin marriages. I did IVF and was quite friendly with the Doctor who told me it nearly happened to them but they caught it. Everytime they called me to verify I had signed the form. They also had a photo of me on file. It's not hard to prevent this.

Thanks for that info. I'm 46 so I will make sure I don't skip any tests. I think in Australia all men get sent out a free diy collection test around my age.

That's really concerning the difference in deaths. Is USA better at prostate or worse at breast? You would expect the numbers to be consistent.

how about we work for more "essentials" tax cuts across the board? Food, water, etc? Because that's not how a broad based consumption tax works. FYI basic food items are not taxed.

This sort of thing opens up massive cans of worms though. In Australia we just got a profesional womens fotball league and in the first season they had to deal with a transgender player. I doubt the money is good enough that the player did it just to make money playing womens football but it was a big issue. https://www.heraldsun.com.au/sport/afl/aflw/afl-to-decide-if-transgender-footballer-hannah-mouncey-can-play-womens-state-league/news-story/57721ea40a53fdf8df6cba05e7c99b32?nk=5bf5fcb59800d91…

There has been a few of these cases in Australia. In many of them the hairdresser is not allowed to cut women's hair because of their lease conditions, so they are not competing with female salons.

This bill seems a bit dangerous, what if a fixed CCTV camera (ie a camera that can not be moved or zoomed) recorded a woman who inadvertentaly showed her underwear perhaps while bending over or sitting down?

at shopping centers the parents rooms have signs that say "dads welcome" after a woman kicked up about a dad being in one.
