they are not really engaging with whatever the dude wrote. The question is so dumb they are venting. What is the problem with that. This just isn’t a good excuse for ignoring such a ridiculously sexist statement which, to me, tells me they have no issue with it.

I agree this r/aslfeminists is worse, but I a lot of the time get the same feeling from other feminist spaces, it’s just more subtle. It’s sad because they do have a lot of good ideas. When they talk specifically about women’s issues it’s fine. It’s they have to say anything about men they just can’t help themselves.

Saying they’re not better leaders = hating them? TIL

Personally I think men get it worse speaking out against feminism, but I respect your opinion.

women are (rightly) scared of being attacked by the mob This is a problem for everyone holding an opinion on Reddit, women don’t get it worse.

If you spend any time talking to leftists you’d learn they don’t agree with everything leftist politicians say. It feels like we spend more time fighting ourselves than our actual opponents

100% agreed. I think I’m banned on just about every feminist sub, most before I could make more than one comment.
/r/MensRights13/04/20 06:10 AM

Reddit admins really don’t like the ideology here. We have to stay in line or risk getting quarantined or just straight up banned. Following the rules is what’s kept this sub up so long.
/r/MensRights13/04/20 05:28 AM

I don’t think I’m supposed to because brigading can get us banned.

I’ll keep that in mind next time a similar situation comes up. Thanks for the tips.

The whole post got brigaded by FDS followers and there were comments like this all over the place it was horrible. Believe it or not I was actually getting downvoted which is normally very weird for r/unpopularopinion.

I should’ve made it clear that this is two different people replying. I could’ve been better in my response. I did not mean to imply the subs not perfect because, it’s anti-woman, I know it’s not, I just don’t agree with everything posted here and very occasionally I think the comments are out of line but 99% of the time subs moderated well. Poor wordings on me. I’d also like to say the person in the first comment did keep replying to me and they eventually mostly came around on their view of th…

I think you don’t judge people based on race or gender, less you be a sexist or racist. No matter how you twist it that’s what it is. Some men being terrible does not excuse giving all of them less right. The law was lazily written, and I guess as a short term fix, I would very begrudgingly accept it, but I would prefer women also be banned to prevent any abused children since the chance still exists. You don’t combat an issue with discrimination, if this were any other race or women being affec…

First off, it’s not a giant deal unless you want to adopt a child. Then it is, but that doesn’t really matter, you support that on the basis of “it happens a lot anyway”? Fucking kill me. Why is the alternate solution to bringing awareness and calling out assholes like you become a lawyer and change it? I’ll tell you before I found this sub there were a number of things I did not know, like the dangers of circumcising and the real domestic abuse stats, as well the homelessness rates, which have …

I know they did it last time and they’ll probably do it again. I like Bernie but I fucking hate the DNC because they treat him so terribly. Warren can go to hell and Biden can go to hell. Glad we can disagree on politics without getting into a fight here.
/r/MensRights01/02/20 11:35 PM

Which is really annoying. I’m a Bernie supporter but I joined this sub and agree with most of the stuff on it.
/r/MensRights01/02/20 10:33 PM

Why I love Bernie. Just about everything about him. As close to perfect as I’ve seen in a politician.

Is this from pink pilled feminism? Is this their idea of sarcasm?
/r/MensRights30/01/20 04:18 AM

I don’t know about pink pill feminism, but on r/gamersriseup there are plenty of actual racists albeit the majority of the sub is ironic. Can I assume the same thing about pink pill feminism?

I went on there once, too upvoted post was along the lines of “People say women have mental health issues but men commit 99% of mass shootings”. All I need to know about that sub

As a Bernie supporter this whole situation with warren and now Hillary has been infuriating beyond belief. Good Jesus Christ leave the fucking guy alone.
/r/MensRights23/01/20 12:27 AM

The fact that you think this sub is at all comparable to the toxicity over at FDS is either the funniest or saddest thing I’ve heard all day and I can’t tell which
/r/MensRights18/01/20 08:33 AM
4

Bernie is my candidate, I was so mad. There is no fucking way he said anything like that, he backed Clinton in 2016 despite how she snubbed him, and waited until warren backed down to run himself in 2016. What a sick twisted thing for warren to do, lost all my respect. I’ll vote for Biden before her.
/r/MensRights16/01/20 04:25 AM

Yeah, but the vast majority of the statistic I assume you are quoting either don’t go to court at all or are acquitted because of lack of evidence.
/r/MensRights15/01/20 06:26 AM

“I can’t think of a proper way to respond so you’re a nobody” Ya know ya coulda saved some time and just wrote that

What a clever response to a genuine criticism of your comment
/r/MensRights15/12/19 05:27 AM

Didn’t read past the first sentence. I don’t even know if that statistic is correct, but an allegation is all that is needed for a person to be fired and their reputation to be ruined. They don’t even need to go to court.

My question is wtf is there even to teach? Who the hell doesn’t know that rape is wrong. I know the lines for sexual harassment can be misunderstood and so the lines should be taught to ALL people, but I am talking about RAPE.
/r/MensRights15/12/19 05:13 AM

Same thing happened in my school. I was in both the engineering and health science academies, but there was no special treatment or anything for me in the health science department despite one year literally being the only guy in a class of 20+ students. Girls in the engineering academy got all kinds of encouragement, we did projects entirely devoted to women in engineering. So dumb.

Do they realize that women are less likely to support abortion rights?
/r/MensRights10/12/19 06:18 PM

Wow, it’s almost like people have different experiences and not being able to show emotion is not the only cause of depression and suicidal tendencies. What a thought.
/r/MensRights10/12/19 06:14 PM
2

Ah, makes sense but you should try to make that more clear
/r/MensRights08/12/19 09:44 PM

Then why even bring it up if it has no relevance to today’s society?
/r/MensRights08/12/19 09:41 PM

You know that the number of people that go to war is typically nowhere near enough to have a significant impact on the population, right?

They’re lives are not more valuable than our own wtf
/r/MensRights18/11/19 06:49 PM

Those guys can choose to get themselves circumcised on their own terms. You can’t un-circumcise. We aren’t deciding what should happen with the dicks? We literally aren’t doing anything, leaving them as they are instead of mutilating them. What an asshole
/r/MensRights16/11/19 04:32 AM
14

I’m an incel for being offended by that sub? The fuck? It’s just blatantly misandrous.
/r/PussyPassDenied14/11/19 03:26 AM

Why is this pathetic? Are you saying he should continue to let her touch his child? I sure as hell wouldn’t
/r/MensRights29/10/19 01:28 AM
9

No, still an asshole if the child was clearly looking for comfort from him.
/r/MensRights29/10/19 01:27 AM

No, you’re the only person who’s told me that. I don’t know if you noticed but I’m a different person from OP.

Please tell me how empowering women prevents climate change in any way, I’ve sat here the past five minutes trying to think of anything myself but nothing that could even remotely correlate the two comes to mind.
/r/MensRights22/10/19 03:37 AM

Completely irrelevant point, this is a thread about circumcision. Besides that he never said anything about what we do on farms so why are you bringing that up here.
/r/MensRights21/10/19 05:08 PM

I said tots a few days ago I don’t even know why this word exists. The word condescending already exists, no reason to gender the word wtf.
/r/MensRights16/10/19 05:45 PM
3

Anyone who un-ironically uses the word “mansplaining” is just sexist IMO. There is already a word for that, it’s called being condescending, there is no reason to make a gendered word for it. Assuming the story is as you told it you weren’t being condescending anyway, just engaging in the conversation, pretty pathetic to call that “mansplaining”, they just like to throw the word around I don’t think they even really know how it’s supposed to be used.
/r/MensRights14/10/19 05:44 AM

What was their reaction to having this pointed out?
/r/MensRights14/10/19 05:05 AM
