It depends on the school. At my school tennis one of the biggest and most successful sports and is looked highly of. That may not be the case at yours. Stop bitching and play what you TRULY want to play and have a passion for we aren’t here to make those decisions for you.

Don’t do 5x5 for a long period of time exeeding 3-4 months. Gives you a T. rex build after awhile. It’s good to get an intro to the big compound lifts but after a bit you should consider a upper lower split or ppl program

Try to find some people who are interested in film production and start a club or see if your school has a video production class. My school does and its incredibly popular.

Yeah I feel like too much emphasis especially in the main sub is placed on PUA and dynamics like that and not enough on self improvement and becoming the best version of yourself.

5x5 makes you built like a t-rex if you do it too long start a push/pull/legs or a upper lower split routine

From my experience(11 years of piano) if you don’t look forward to playing/practicing and if you treat it as another chore you should give it up and find something else. Passion is the only thing that matters. But if you’re hell bent on learning piano having private instruction with a real life teacher can help you be accountable and is in my opinion the best way to start playing. A great private teacher can help you fall in love with the instrument

Minimize stress and get more quality sleep. Two biggest factors in my opinion.

Yeah I talked to them earlier today and they said they would be willing to pay for a personal trainer for me. I should take them up on that offer correct?

I’m doing 5x5 but just for squat and deadlift as I found a program more suited for me for bench

145 bench 320 deadlift 225 squat workouts take 1-2 hours bc I do cardio afterwards

Yeah. Sometimes if I try to discuss fitness related subjects with them afterwards I over hear them complaining to each other saying, “why can’t he just act like a child?” or something along those lines.

I do have a job and can pay for it myself but they barred me from doing that as well

They also think that I go too much (5 days a week) and for too long (1-2 hours) when it isn’t even impacting my academics or any other aspect of my life. My dad literally suggested that I take up walking as an exercise to replace lifting just because he suggests it to his patients.😂

Nothing wrong with it but taking medical advice on treating a mental illness from strangers on the internet is a bad idea in the first place.

Don’t listen to the people in here recommending you supplements/special diets and get professional help.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
