Look for a house with a basement apartment. Those are usually tiled and pet friendly. Also, no one likes them cuz they are either too cold or too hot for the season and landlords often do month-to-month, no leases on these cuz of the flood risk. I had one for like 3 years, paid cash, barely ever saw my landlord-it was great. Visuals are far better but the mechanics haven’t progressed, if at all. The limits the older games had framed the mechanics as paramount.
