Abundance mentality for sure. It's a great mindset for just living.
/r/TheRedPill18/02/17 01:33 AM

There was a post a few weeks back that covered it quite well. For what it's worth, I commented about the page formatting; you may find your way to it through my account.
/r/TheRedPill15/02/17 02:31 PM

We can't forget, in spite of the bitterness that often rears it's ugly head, that being kind has its place too. I treat people like blank slates unless they've personally wronged me, including those who I may feel contempt towards. Do your own thing, be as nice as you have to (or want to) be, and don't tolerate bullshit.

Nice post! Related, someone I know told me of his friend who's had some girl of his move in unofficially, and this guy apparently doesn't want to live with anyone - but he's made concessions for this chick. The catch is that he is apparently "passive aggressive" and when he tried to bring the issue (think common law fuckery) up with her, she threw the whole "you don't trust me?!" schtick at him and wouldn't let it past that. I explained to the guy I know that his pal is getting played, and that …

I'll say: People who talk down to you for going after what you want ought to be ignored. You'll make new friends along the way who respect shit like that - even other people who turned themselves around too.

My gal seems to think I'm RP too. Who'd have thought? I'm all natural though, don't pay attention to what's here. /s
/r/TheRedPill01/02/17 02:52 AM

More than anything, you dropped the ball... The non cringy way to hit her up would have been "Come over this weekend." - problem solved. Her "Haha okay" response could have been alright, if you'd have just kept quiet and invited her over to your place right as the weekend rolled around. Don't text stupid shit like that. It's like I'm reading a /fit/ thread with pickup lines.

Great post. New guys - great stuff to be gained from this post. If your prospective gal happens to fall under one of these areas, be wary, but don't fool yourself into thinking it's exactly how she'll be. She could be more balanced than the cut and dry version of what you think she'll act like, and worst case you can make sure you're ready and confident to handle any of the associated problems. If you're getting hen pecked, you rightfully tell her to sod off. If she's constantly stirring up dram…

I feel like the biggest separation from it being super PUA type stuff is when he said "you need to get comfortable with being uncomfortable". For a newcomer, that's paramount - for way more than just girls. Success in general.
/r/TheRedPill30/01/17 11:46 PM

Never said I expect academia - but I'd love to see a certain level of quality across the board. Too many poorly written posts coming up from people these days, and it's detracting from the image that ought to be presented here. I gave you very valid criticism in that you need to make your post more concise and structured than it is.
/r/TheRedPill18/01/17 12:46 AM

This post sucks. There's a certain level of quality I'd expect from a front page post, and this doesn't even get close. Format your damn post, and emphasize just what you're trying to get across without rambling - the latter of which you've done. And trying to say it's bad to come here regularly? What's wrong with reinforcing the very thing that has been working for me for a few years now? How is reading up on other folks motivational talks, field reports, or theories a bad thing?

I'm rather confident that he was put in the friend zone. They'd been together a couple of years, but once they went open it was like he didn't exist anymore. He may have gotten a bit here or there - I wasn't around her every waking minute.

You'd be best to keep things concise, and only play out some choice excerpts. Write it out in text format, emphasize on what is going on and why it's working, etc. Reports work best if you can actually explain yourself properly. Make sure your writing is on point. There's too many walls of text with awful formatting, and they're little more than one big run on sentence.

Good. Just a warning though... You're going to have a hell of a time catching a supervisor at your work. You'll probably come off as awkward, and forceful in the wrong way. I'd highly suggest you avoid trying to ply your coworkers, unless you're a proven master.

You didn't absorb much of the lifting talk if you can't figure out why it's important. If you're not lifting weights, at least have some sort of physical activity or sport that you can do a few times a week - bare minimum. Go hard.

As a point for further discussion, I'd love to see this post modified in a specific area regarding the thousand cock stare. The links were great, but my eyes caught what you'd said immediately after the two links, and looking at the picture of the women felt 'unscientific' because I already knew who'd done what. Moving your text from where it is, so that I didn't immediately see it, would have better gotten the point across. Otherwise, insightful and intriguing. I'd just like to see a chance for…

Excellent point. The RP way, I'll say, is to get the most out of people but doing it in the right ways - without stepping on toes too often. Difference between a gentleman bastard, and just a bastard.

Buddy... I stole an acquaintance's girlfriend in a situation not too different from this post. We met, she thought I was hot, I didn't mind the attention or chance of getting my dick wet. A few months of chatting privately, I had her coming over some evenings. He knew, because instead of going to his place for a weekend - she'd come over to mine. I'd usually invite him last minute to 'save face', but I knew better, and she sure as shit did. I quite literally had her for half a year whilst they w…

Considering how the very large majority of us have ended up here, I'd say that pain is necessary to grow and flourish, or flounder and die - depending on which way you decide to focus your energy.

I think your post belongs in askTRP. I could see his train of thought for everything but the last point. Women love attention, and they love men being perverts - they just try and save face most of the time. Your friend seems to be in a weird, jaded/bitter blue pill type view. He's blaming his lack of confidence on exterior factors, when his problem is that he doesn't have the balls to just go for what he wants. Feminists want to be ravaged by Chad as much as any other female, they just stupidly…

I agree with you here regarding the quality of posts as of late. There ought to be a timeframe or karma requirement prior to posting here, I think. Better to address the problem before it becomes full blown - although the mods, admittedly, do a damn good job at trimming the fat.

Aside from the fact you should have posted this on AskTRP, that formatting seared my retinas. You should read the sidebar, and some of the postings on here for a little while - and then reconsider whether or not you feel like you need additional input towards your... situation.

Women definitely like RP stuff. Mine, the well versed lady she is, knows of RP and has exclaimed how happy she is that I'm "essentially" one of you. I haven't a clue what she's talking about, of course, since I'm just me. What I am now is merely a manifestation of what I was supposed to be, for a long time. You boys helped wake me up.

The not apologizing thing works great just about everywhere. You should never strive to be some sort of 'big deal' when it comes to social settings and causing a ruckus. Unless being a 'big deal' is for positive reasons, do try and keep your head down. If you ever find a time where people disagree with you, seem to push for an apology, claim you're overstepping some sort of boundaries when you know deep down that you aren't - hold your ground. Just know the fine line. People will have a lot more…

I've had buddies ask for advice, or heard sad stories from people I know and dropped subtle, carefully worded advice from a much more RP perspective. Most people nod, agree, seem to act like it all adds up and that would be for the best - and then I hear a few days later about how things are "Better" despite them never having done anything, so they don't feel the need to make a change. Only one to date has gotten his act together after a couple of long talks.

Well said. If she's okay with no ring or marriage, I'd say she's worth evaluating further. I'll never forget my first LTR where she spoke of how great our wedding could be, how grand and fabulous, and all the kids we'd have... All it did was fill me with this feeling of dead. I'm glad that went awry and I go out with a fresh perspective instead of child support payments.

I cut it out to avoid sounding preachy, or droning on, but yes - I'd rather buy a used vehicle to avoid eating the majority of the depreciation on a new one up front. Pay less for a used vehicle, get less depreciation on it, and sell it for a larger ratio at a later date if need be. Left that out to stay more focused on game.

Apologies for the late reply. I've taken that particular test a number of times over the years, and I too have always come up as INTJ. Even recently, where I'm the most social and outgoing I ever have been. Their descriptions are almost spot on across the board although, as with life in general, I know that things aren't so black and white - so while I'm conscious of where I fall on the spectrum, I don't let a category dictate my behaviour. You really hit the nail on the head with how I feel sometimes. My preference lies with the nerds, but they're super cringy at times and the more I flesh out my hobbies and life into the world outside of that - the less I relate to them, even. I'm in this weird limbo between holding onto nerdy interests and people because they've been a long time thing for me, and exploring that which lies outside of it. I'm not into the strictly 'exterior' world enough to truly fit in with the people on that end…

I'll be sure to check out your suggestions, thanks! I've made a very big effort over the last few years to get outside my comfort zone and experience the world. Socializing is definitely a skill that gets rusty if you don't use it, and I've forced myself out on countless occasions to the point where I'm not longer uncomfortable with doing so. It's definitely paid off! Our work group is generally one big group, with some smaller dynamics between individuals. I'll see about poking my nose into the…

Adding my 2 cents, Goodfella: As suggested, you need to look to make sure that she's not cheating on you. If she were happy with what you provide, she wouldn't be looking for more, and based on many stories may have already been getting a taste behind your back. You need to consider your options here. You can always try and give her something more rough and hard than you usually do, and while it may take a bit to get your head wrapped around it, you may find it kind of fun and enjoyable. Just kn…

I'm a unionized tradesman making awesome money - but I just tell people I'm in construction. Especially women, if they inquire as to what I do for work. I'd rather let who I am do the talking, not what I can provide for them. Not interested in a girl who's only after money and status, AWALT, blah blah.

It's not so much that she can't get pregnant, but more that she's got a hip deformity that could make child birth a difficult, risky process for her. She's never consulted a doctor on the effect it could have, but I believe you in that it probably wouldn't make enough difference to stop a woman from trying to lock somebody down.

She's absolutely, under no circumstance living with me unless she totally has her shit together. She knows that very well - and I wouldn't ever consider it without some big contract type deal. Dread it is, I think. Failing that - next! I'll definitely opt for a clean break, and a polite one at that because I really do care for her, and wouldn't want to hurt her needlessly.

I've been her damn captain for the last two years, and she's repeatedly insisted upon it herself. I'm "her rock", as she put it. She's living back home now, which means that she's in all female company and that overpowers any real say I might have had. My polite, albeit straight forward suggestions in regards to careers and decision making has gone unheard for a while, and that's what has led to this point. That's sort of the thing - I really do like her. Out of all the people I've been with, there really did seem to be a good shot at this lasting. I've kept my head about me, and made sure to never forget that if things went awry - I'd jump ship. No girl is worth such a stupid amount of sacrifice, and I'm fine with leaving her - it's just a tad bittersweet, since I definitely wanted the happy ending. You're spot on with the pregnancy bit. I never even thought of that! She doesn't want kids (physically may not be capable, for various reasons), but you never know when there's a chance you might lose grip of the branch. I'm going to say nothing to her for now, go with the flow, let her finish up a few months of what she's trying to do, and if that job prospect (not surprisingly) doesn't pan out, then I'm out. I've settled on letting her go under every circumstance short of a complete, non force…

Alright, OP. Coworker tested my limits recently by trying to boss me around, and then insult me for being a shit worker for delays outside of my control. The new Star Wars movie, the upcoming 2nd one, and of course that new "rogue" spinoff are all guilty of this. With the force, it's believable that she could be gifted and talented - no issues there, it's a movie that was primarily aimed at kids with a good vs evil theme (and we all know how that goes). It just feels very 'checkbox' with how many female leads are popping up these days, not some original creation. Maybe I'm too cynical, but the Ghost Busters remake seems to be all the proof I need…

Your text to her was especially weak. I wouldn't have had much interest responding to that either. Why would you try and prove a point that didn't need to be proven, when you could have asked her out to someplace instead? Now she thinks you're some abrasive MRA - and have a closet full of fedoras. Abandoned and neglected is something I think many of us men can relate to. My dad has been with me my whole life, and as a whole very supportive and helpful compared to some I've seen - but as far as the personal relationship between him and I, it's just never been there. We're on such different pages, and he blames me for our failed relationship because I'd rather play video games than throw a ball when I was younger - caused by being socially awkward, and suffering deep depression as the resul…

That's the way I see it now, even though deep down I wish it were otherwise. My dad has long been a source of good, solid advice, but I'm reaching a point where the paths him and I will have taken are quite different - and he's essentially a cucked beta, despite appearances. I'll manage one way or another, and I'm not worried that I'll suddenly be crushed by the weight of the world - because I'm stronger than that. Just need to hope for a few opportunities to blow off steam here and there.

This post really brought to my attention that while I have some good male friends I like to hang out with, I don't think any of them genuinely care about my particular set of problems. I'm not some melodramatic fool, and I've got a solid handle - but there's been instances where I was really torn up about something or down in the gutter, and when I speak with them about it their responses are quite... unsatisfactory. Same sex couples adopting, and I think talks about single PARENTS adopting. Nothing like setting your kid up with two very confused role models, or one who no matter how good they happen to be, will never be able to fulfill both sides of the coin. Something as simple as healthy foods, portion control, and exercise could do wonders. You don't even have to exercise very hard! Of course a real man acts how he wants. This is why you don't act in the sensitive, needy, I'd give my life for you kind of way that young men are all too commonly raised to believe today. Working to find your own inner, biologically bred confidence does nothing but benefit you in your day to day life. Women are just a positive side effect of becoming a better you. Lots of this stuff is covered in depth through the side bar.

My attempt wasn't so much to flame her, as it was to point out a few concerning things. Draws parallels to herpes and valtrex users. There's no real win/win however, since you'll always be able to come up with a "What if" scenario. Not knowing if a person has something is the whole reason you play it safe until you get to know them properly.

The delusional icing on the top is absurd. There's a lot of projecting in place of thinking it through, and I find it amusing that she'd go so far as to claim men are uneducated and flighty. People know well enough HIV is a life sentence, and anybody who has it ain't worth the trouble - even without knowing the juicy details. Definitely touches on an AWALT type deal here.

Ah, I see. I appreciate you having pointed that out! That actually further confirms my argument, and I've edited my post slightly to be more accurate. I think the ultimate solution with HIV+ people is that they go with others already afflicted. At that point, neither has that particular aspect to lose.

I feel sympathy for those who were born with it, or got it during childhood due to circumstances outside of their control (mothers milk, blood transfer, raped, etc). Regardless of circumstance, I wouldn't knowingly touch anybody afflicted by it, and find it abhorrent to consider people going "Hey! I may not have taken care of myself, so I'd like you to put yourself at risk for my feelings!"

It's a covert and overt means of making you accept sub-standard fare simply because it's what's being peddled. Rather than the stigma of a hundred years ago, single mothers and sluts are now heaped with praise and somehow held up as paragons of female strength and empowerment, whose attention and love is a privilege that you have to earn by being a "real man." I laughed at this. I've had people react negatively towards me when I asked them the simple question of "What is there to praise, exactly…

Honestly, depending on how attracted you are to her, it might be worth another shot. While she didn't leave it open with a proposed date in the future, hit her up sometime next week and see if she'll join you doing something. You already know what to do if that doesn't pan out.

This needs to be on Ask TRP, first and foremost. That being said... You're quite far from the level of calm and cool that's desired. I highly suggest that you read every little bit of the side bar, and tune in here before you start trying to flaunt your game. Practice less personal stuff in your day to day travels, like chatting up sales and service people at stores and restaurants. Arrange social events with people, and learn to avoid being overly wordy or paranoid that you need to maintain som…

Piss off with the high horse attitude. Last time I checked, a lot of the points made on TRP were derived from the life experiences of those from different walks of life, and that's what makes it better. Are you going to sit there and tell OP that he's an idiot because of something he did during his youth, as if it takes away from the validity of his point? Get over yourself.

I've always considered grammar and nomenclature to be a good representation of a persons intelligence. With that said, I feel that you're underestimating yourself. Even if you aren't the 'smartest' in the group, you can always be worth something by working at yourself. Things aren't so black and white, and intelligence is one of many, many factors that influence who and what a person is. It's also something that can be faked, or toyed with in certain scenarios, so I'd take it with a grain of sal…

I'm going to chime in here. My dad was a police officer who married and followed blue pill philosophy too. His wife cheated on him, lied about being raped, and has caused him no small amount of discomfort in his life. He's practically worked himself to the bone trying to keep our family together, and in the past trying to help his "raped" wife, but now he carries the awful burden of everything she's done, emotionally and financially, and a number of additional lies she's spouted during a 'breakd…

Part 2 oughta stress dressing/looking your best. I never feel better than when I get a decent bit of sleep, clean up/groom myself, dress as nice as I can for the conditions, and then head out after a solid breakfast. "Today is going to be awesome." I tell myself.

Fair enough. I didn't intend for my described "lack of" to be taken as whining, so much as a plight for some advice from the folks here. In a roundabout way, I meant that I have nobody in the right spot to confide in, and that TRP is my preference if I'm searching for answers. I've been as genuine as I can be across the board, it's just that throughout the different stages of development in the last few years I haven't had much luck in the way of making friends or being considered good company b…

I can see your point. I'm rather confident that I keep any sort of high and mighty shit locked away, since coming across like a douche with a superiority complex doesn't get me anywhere. It's not so much a common thought in my head, as it is simply a reason I've pondered as being the cause of some of my frustrations. I'll try and do better with showing humility towards others in the hopes it might help balance things. See what happens.

This is a common response to people who start changing. Think about all the people who started getting fit, and their less fit counterparts (even family) start negging them. Apply your RP stuff with a grain of salt. Try not to come off like an actual douchebag to the people around you (treat those you like, nicely). Past that? Keep on keeping on.

Maybe you could go nuclear, since all you really care about is fucking her. Start hanging around, or bringing girl 'friends' with on outings who obviously want to fuck you. Maybe jealousy would work? Personally though, I'd just move on. You're suffering oneitis prettymuch.

What isn't disposable about being sent off to war without a say in the matter? I'm pretty sure that a large part of OPs argument was that if you have children, they possess your genes and it's in your interest at a biological, primal level to protect them and the mother you chose. The mother provides many things to a family that you wouldn't be able to if you're out 'hunting' or whatnot, plus she can take up a portion of the work with raising the kids and make life easier on you. Things aren't s…

You can't be serious. There's no disadvantage to practicing a skill in a controlled environment. At least in a dojo you know if you mess up, the other person will show some restraint and give you a chance to correct the error of your ways. Eliminating points where you might slip up, safely, will save you from slipping up where you shouldn't. Guns are about the same deal, and in that regard if you try to do anything aggressive to anybody, the chance they do it back increases. Where's the issue?

I really hate the notion that we'd ban anybody here, but so long as there's proper observation and consideration behind it (not that myself or others have seen the process) then it's all good. Anywhere you go where people have similar interests or views will turn into a bit of an echo chamber, it's just a matter of not silencing those who do something different, whatever it may be. Went out for dinner and we started flinging food at one another. I ended up chewing a piece of ice and shooting a bit at her through a straw like my dad used to do to my sister and I when we were young. Instead of covering her face and closing her eyes, she kept them open and almost took it in the eye. The waterworks came, along with mutterings about how "I can't believe you did that. I trusted you." while I sat there in disbelief. I just kept on, saying nothing more than "Seriously?" and waited…

If you were told you'll die today, or die tomorrow, what difference does it make? Even the guy who lived for 100 years died too, along with all the emperors and philosophers before him. In layman's terms: Preaching and boasting about certain qualities or points of view is more often than not used to hide some sort of insecurities, or as a way to draw attention and validation to yourself from your peers. You want to proclaim that you "don't take shit from anybody.", that's all good - but don't do it because "that's what I learned on The Red Pill!". I think going "Hey dudes, look at me, join TRP!" isn't the way to do it. I'd sooner argue that you simply get to know somebody, see where they lie, and how your two views on things differ. If you end up giving advice to help get somebody on track, RP type advice isn't a bad thing. If they take really well to it, and you feel like they could learn more - perhaps a subtle suggestion to check here out would be a good idea. Noted. Gives me a lot to think about, but I might just settle for having her visit or stay over for a couple days at a time and see how that goes. If our relationship continues as it has been (great across the board) I might consider the co-hab down the road, but for now maybe I'll just test the waters. If things don't work and I need to find somebody else, I'll make due. The experience gained is helpful one way or another. Thank you!

I'm looking at getting a home in the future (couple of years). If my current LTR continues that long, I know she wants to move in with me as she's said it before. I chuckled at the notion, and pointed out that there's no way I'm letting her just waltz in and enjoy a house that I worked hard and paid for by myself. Her 'plea' was that she'd cook, clean, and even pay rent - which on paper doesn't sound half bad, and I do quite fancy her. This is an interesting opportunity, if you'd be willing to g…

I hate whatever it is, every time I read "We need more females because equality!" Same as when they say "We need to hire these minorities because equality!" I can't say how much bearing it'll have, but I recently watched Joe (2013) and found it to be a solid movie. Joe outlines the darker side of some of the TRP philosophies, but it's interesting to see it in action. Ultimately, he's left with the choice of redemption or ruin when he meets the boy, but even then his behaviour is manly through and through. It's a decent watch, just take any RP connections with a grain of salt. I'm no master of either RP or movie reviews.

Trump gets a lot of shit, and while I agree on some points that he's a bit crass and his ideologies are often over the top - he has a hell of a point with a lot of different topics. He's the right fist, and the no bullshit allowed type guy that many parts of the world could use right now. The amount of times he gets misquoted, and only a fraction of what he said gets shared in order to sway all these bleeding hearts is pretty amusing to me. Good read! Not that it's very long, but I've been going strong for a year and a half now and shit tests still pop up here and there. Nothing too crazy, and far less frequently than when we first met (more comfort tests nowadays), so I can attest to what OP was saying. Biologically inferior in terms of raw power and ferocity. Anyone who denies that is lying to themselves. I would want the best possible person beside me when push comes to shove, not a half measure in the name of equality. This isn't to say that a woman wouldn't be effective in a combat zone, but they certainly wouldn't be as effective compared to their male counterparts. I really liked the video on emotions. Call it what we will here, the underlying message is still the same: Be in control of yourself and roll with the punches whilst maintaining your integrity. It makes a world of difference. Nah dude. Wanting companionship and to have some company isn't wrong at all. You'd be a bitch if you threw everything you had at a girl, just to cuddle her. Deeper relationships can be a good thing, and if you want them, strive for them. Just keep your self respect and the mentality that you're the boss.

Usually changing the subject works best. Calling out is for when you're really sick and tired of the topic, or they're stepping out of line. Really, the less you worry about 'hurting' her, the easier things will be. Let her be offended for a bit - you're the boss, and you're not listening to that drivel all day. Depends on the situation dude. If she voices some little concerns here and there, feel free to share some opinions or suggestions. It is part of a relationship to support each other, just don't become a tampon. If she's on a big rant, or constantly bitching about various things, call her out on it to a degree. This sounds like a great idea to me. I've opened before with a hug straight off the bat, and it got the whole touch barrier bullshit out of the way just like that. Aside from being maybe a tad bit "awkward" (more like "Whoah, nobody has ever done that to me!") for a moment, it was like clockwork after that.
/r/askTRP24/11/15 02:40 AM

I should have elaborated in that we've been together for almost two years at this point. It's an LTR, but there's no way I'd be able to do LDR. If she were just a short term thing, I wouldn't be nearly this torn up about it.
/r/askTRP

No - you shouldn't tolerate that at all. Maybe you need to be more rough. I'd consider going the apocalypse route and being rough to the point where she actually says stop... Then again, that has its own risks. I hope you're able to resolve this one way or another, for your benefit. You're certainly in the right place, although many would disagree. Just remember that it's ultimately you who makes a change, and what is posted here is merely a guideline for you to build on.
