I understand the anger too, somewhat, but still think that telling someone to kill themselves was not justified. Let's hope they both had STD tests done in the beginning of their relationship.

I think he is completely justified in breaking up with her, though telling your (ex) partner to jump off a bridge is a bit uncalled for.

You work under an assumption that women do not provide, which is a bit outdated, honestly. Obviously, if woman is SAHM, yes she should be the one to clean. If she is working, then the housework should be split (unless she's doing part time). The woman in the post does not say whether they split bills or what was the employment situation, but towards the end says this commonly happens even where both partners are working. So why do you assume that the man is the only one providing, and the woman …

Seriously why does a messy house upset women so fucking much? They act like a shirt that didn't make it all the way into the hamper is the cause of world war three. Don't you have bigger and more important things to worry about and deal with? Jesus Because it has been drilled into us our entire childhood that somehow, we are a failure if the household is not spottles. One of my earliest memories is my mother pulling a tablecloth from a desk where I kept my toys (didn't have my own room), because…

I think your second paragraph is quite a spot on! I used to be upset that my partner would not tidy up something, but then I realised that even if he saw 'it', his mind did not register as an issue or something that needed tiding up.

I'm not saying employers should pay their directors and receptionists the same. I'm saying that in a relationship, people should value their and their partner's time the same, which is different. If one person is working and the other not, the latter should do all the house work. If one of is working full time (40 hrs), and the other part time 20, the latter should do 75% of house work. By the end of our careers, I'll be likely making more than my partner, despite working 9-5, and he'll be avera…

It's not something I cares about when I was 10, so I don't know what their salaries were. However, I don't think it's relevenant, if both worked full time. It's unreasonable to expect your partner to do 100% of house work, if you're both working 40 hours, just because you make more.

I think the problem is that women in the past did not have to hold a full time job, as it was possible to live off the man's salary. Now, that's nearly impossible for your average family and both parties work, but the workload does not get always redistributed. For example, my mother had a full time job, did all the cleaning, cooking, and raised me. My father also had a full time job, but never cleared after himself and and didn't learn how to cook until after my mum divorced him. Another intere…

I'm in the UK and saying this like 'I'll use a condom' and then not use it would get you a rape charge if you're a guy. On the other hand, saying 'I'll make you a movie star' would not be accepted, as it does not relate to the sexual act itself. I remeber a case whete a guy refused to pay a prostitute and she tried to claim a rape, and that was thrown out of the court, as she was not deceived about the act itself. Unfortunately, legally, women cannot even be guilty of rape, only of sexual assaul…

I mean, if they had a contract detailing her requirements and she paid for their services, they were in breach and she had every right to sue them. On the other hand, if you are nearing 40 and have to pay 5000$ just to get a date, maybe you should lower your expectations a little bit.

What is next? Don't let your husband stop you from finding your next richer/better looking husband?

Maybe she has no sense of humour. Maybe she has a resting bitch face that deters men from approaching her and asking her out. Maybe because her friends are all taken, they might not do activities that would allow her to meet new single people. Maybe she gave a chance to nice guys who wanted to be in relationship but things didn't work out. Just because two people who want to be in relationship meet doesn't mean they should be in relationship together. But from her post, I don't know, I'm making …

I just checked the sidebar. Nowhere in the post does she say she rejected anyone, doesn't list a single request or demand, there is no mention of sleeping around or being promiscuous (quite the opposite). She does not even mention a nice guy, just the right one for her. She just seems to struggle to meet someone, as all her friends have been in relationship since uni. 99.9% of posts here really belong here, but this is far cry from "I want 6ft tall guy who makes just as many figures, who will lo…

As a woman who accidentally stumbled here: my cervix shriveled in fear when I read 8 inches.

That is not how the law works. Haven't got time to read the article, but the sentence is most likely for lying to the courts or obstruction of justice, rather than for the accusation itself.

But if you're paying government contributions towards your retirement your whole adult life, it is not "relying on government", is it? If you're low income, government contributed maximum of 25%, and contribution decreases the more your earn.

You seemed to have missed the /s(arcasm) I left after the first sentence. No, the previous law, under which women retired earlier was made for benefit of men. The women who tend to be on average 5 years younger was to care for her older husband when they retired about the same time. However, it was not benefiting women - they would end up with shorter career as a result of this and having children, meaning lower pension. And yes, the women now have "5 more years to prepare for retirement" as you…

I'm sure those women in their 60's have been treated equally their whole life /s And some other commenter said that women retired around the same time as their husbands (as men used to be on average 5 years older in marriages), so they could take care of them. So it was a law made to benefit men to begin with.

I do, that's why I said I don't mind that I'll be working until the same age as men ( I'm in my 20's ). I'll have my entire life to prepare accordingly. Those women are pretesting the fact their life plans were uprooted overnight, and I think the increase of retirement age should apply only to those who are currently under 40, or have 15-20 years left until retirement.

I know right? Those women look close to retirement, I would be fucking furious if I was few months away from retirement and they told me I wouldn't be receiving it for another 5 years or so. Life-changing policy like should apply only to those who have at least 10-15 years to retirement.

I think it depends. I am a woman in my 20's and I have no problem with the fact that I'll be working until I'm 65 (though by then it will be even higher I guess). However, most of those women look close to retirement, and I would be effin furious if I had a year left until retirement and they increased it by another 5 years. That, in my opinion is unjust.

The problem is the guys here are looking for hot girls to duck and then they are surprised they can't do anything else.

I think it sounds more than logical. It IS your baby, so I do not see the reason why you shouldn't contribute. Somebody said women have to be fucking stupid to get pregnant, but it goes other way around as well. Use the condom. There are as many guys saying 'I'll just pull out' as woman saying 'you don't need a condom'. Or maybe don't put it in crazy women you don't trust just to have a good time and increase your score and 'alpha status'.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
