Actual quote Spending all of that time morphing your body with the intention of getting people to respect you, want to fuck you, or be intimidated by you does not seem very healthy to me, even if it works. I would rather be the skinny, genuine fuck that I am than some hulking mass who deflects attention away from their personality and insecurities by pumping their way to saturation. I would rather spend my time reading and gaining knowledge so as to attract admiration and affection of others thr…

You’re still rationalizing that lifting weights is generally an unhealthy endeavor because you don’t lift.
/r/TheRedPill24/09/18 12:48 PM

This is all rationalization for not hitting the gym. It takes 45 minutes a day, four times a week, to see results. You can still exercise your brain and lift. They aren’t mutually exclusive. I’m learning a second language and hitting the gym while working full time. It’s not that hard. Yes, being muscular creates some external benefits. But the main benefits are internal. I never feel better about myself when I know I’ve been disciplined and my body looks and feels amazing.

5’7” here. I wouldn’t say I slay. I can easily land 6s and some 7s. These don’t even ping my radar as a success. I average about one 8 or better a year. Point being is I’m definitely not the hottest guy a around who attracts 8 or better at will. But I can pull some.

Do yourself a favor. Forget your home dumbbells. Go to the gym. Start with 5x5. Lift just the bar if you’re that weak. No one cares about you at the gym and most veteran lifters are happy to see someone trying to better themselves. Just watch some vids on gym etiquette and you’re golden. Running is going to make you look like a skinny bitch. Go lift man.

Leg soreness is the most brutal but once you do legs about 3 to 4 weeks in a row, the soreness level reduces drastically until the next time you skip leg day and it resets. If you could do 120 for reps without issue stay there man, deal with the soreness.

Fellow small framed short guy. 145 is a good goal. 5’7” 145lbs coming off a cut. 10 rep maxs: BP: 195 Squat: 205 DL: 245 OHP: 135 I’ve never done a proper bulk, this has been basically a healthy, high protein diet and consistent lifting for years. However, I’m cutting my beach season short and attempting my first proper bulk. Hope to hit 165 / 170 and have my cut weight next spring around 150 / 155. I’m not really sure what’s realistic because I’ve never forced myself to eat when I wasn’t hungry…

Thanks for the elaborate reply. Makes sense, and I think I've found some of my own reasons to try DJing as well. There's only so much time you can put into one thing in your life, IMO: I don't want to be doing something all day all week, I can't be creating music everyday for 8 hours, that doesn't work for me. However! Making mixes is a different thing. And listening to new music can go both ways: DJing and creating my own music. Time management! Yes, you can certainly do both. That is what almo…

So to properly respond here it's going to be a bit long. To start, I also find most techno extremely repetitive and boring. I mix house, hip hop, and bass music. Before I moved for career, I was a resident at one of the most popular clubs in my city that used local guys rather than bringing in big names. First point is, if you are musically inclined, you don't have to just play other people's music. You can produce and play a lot of your own tracks. If you're playing a four hour set, you wouldn'…

YouTube styles you like. Lots of tutorials available. Practice them. Really that simple. Honestly all you need is about three moves that most people can’t do (most people can’t do anything special) and be able to keep a smooth rhythm and then it will be considered that you “can dance” to most people.

When I was in college I didn’t have the knowledge I do now. I didn’t see the rat race as the rat race. I just figured this is life. I became more enlightened towards my late twenties and began realizing being beholden to someone else’s schedule is a massive boner killer and that there’s other ways to live. *** I have to put a disclaimer here. The company I work for is honestly great. Work life balance is fantastic. I rarely put in more than 40 hours a week. Work from home options. Premium gym me…

My plan: Climb Coporate ladder. Become an expat and move overseas. Check Stack cash with fat expat contract. Learn foreign language. Explore Europe. Become versed in other cultures. Expand world view. Not be like your typical American. In progress. Study real estate in spare time. In progress. Buy real estate rentals with expat savings. Build side business. Eventually be financially independent. Continue working or not. Own choice. Next step. All while watching YouTube, smoking weed, and jacking…

It’s crazy how often people don’t actually know their spouse. I think more often than not it’s men not knowing their wives. Rose colored glasses, blue conditioning, etc. The stories across the Internet of guys finding out their sub 9 n-count wife was actually the football teams bicycle in college and rode carousel through her twenties are enlightening. Women are never honest about their sexual pasts.

The tryhard insult. Got stoned the other day and noticed some improvements in my physique. I don’t smoke often but when I do it’s cathartic. I see the world, my actions, and myself in ways I don’t often sober, or won’t let myself. Often, it’s an anxiety inducing, “what the fuck are you doing,” type experience and I come out the other end with noted changes in behavior I need to make. Anyways, I noticed the results, as I have been putting in consistent gym time and diet discipline, and for a bit …

I’m an expat overseas. My following isn’t big, just under 1k. But I travel all over Europe, as well as multiple trips stateside per year. My instagram buries the hook deep when I meet new girls and sometimes gets old flames coming around curious. You don’t gotta be a rockstar. Just post cool and flattering shit.

So weird. Who thinks they have the right to tell you how to lift unless you’re actually being reckless. Say like, one armed heavy power cleans in between crowded benches in the free weight area. But in the squat rack? The only person in danger is yourself. Seems like she had some sort of ulterior motive, what that was is puzzling. Maybe it was raw attraction that was clearly unattainable for a ham planet like herself that manifested itself as lashing out and abuse of female power?

Your post about the gym is full of excuses. You’re bulking wrong if you get fat. If you’re able to get fat and you still weigh 155 at 5’10” there is something extremely wrong with your program. If you don’t train legs you can never make real progress. Also you didn’t post numbers. For reference, also coming from someone with a legitimately small frame: 5’7” 150lbs Bench: 195x10 Overhead press: 135x10 Squat: 205x10 (weakest point which is odd considering I played hockey my whole life) Deadlift: 2…
