Like others in this thread, I don't think you should diagnose them with a mental condition. Red Pillers deny the legitimacy of women's emotions, while trying to suppress their own. It's an ideology. They have some kind of 'Survival of the Stoics' thing going on. Because it's not like emotions evolved to help us survive or anything.

An inherently "selfish" ideology is not sustainable or pragmatic, as the environmental crisis clearly shows. You cannot just ignore the existence of the environment and of others because it interferes with your "selfish" aims

Do Red Pillers not have the ability to perceive the existence of anything other than the present time and immediate consequences/surroundings? Yes, it might not effect your ability to get laid, at least directly, right this moment. However, it will probably affect your ability to get laid in the future. It will affect whether your are able to have children, if you want them, and whether they will survive or not. Moreover, it will affect other people, apart from you, in a truly devastating fashio…

Yes, I think I agree with you. Right now, the priority should be on trying to deal with the effects, since it seems we can no longer prevent them.

As I've said, climate change bears a direct relation to your 'sexual strategy,' which is why it should be relevant. EDIT: I also find your accusations quite ironic in the light of things Red Pillers typically do and say on here. Red Pillers make assumptions about women, and so-called alpha males who are 'successful' with women, without knowing anything about them. Red Pillers try to fling every awful opinion at women and see what sticks. It's very funny that you don't see this in your behaviour.

It's a general tendency that I've noticed in the Red Pill to be dismissive of anything outside of their concerns about the way the dating market is effecting men. You claim that climate change bears no relation to Red Pill theory, but why not when Red Pill claims to be based on evolutionary theory and psychology and our adaptation to the environment is a crucial component of said theory.

Since I don't think this is a satirical comment - because rape is a traumatizing experience. It is actually the most traumatizing event that can happen to someone. Compared to any other experience, including being involved in war, rape is most likely to cause PTSD and the effects are often more long-lasting and severe than other forms of PTSD. Anybody with any basic empathy for other people would understand this. The right to reject, in this context, is far more important than the right to choos…

I feel like you're conflating white knighting with a bunch of other unrelated behaviours. "You need any help with that?" I feel like the person in that situation isn't usually trying to be nice, or even appear nice. They are being a pretty much overt creep. At least on TV. In that situation, they usually end up trying to mug or otherwise harm the woman a few minutes later. Again, on TV. In my opinion, sacrificing or doing something for someone you love isn't creepy. It's actually really nice. It…

I think there is a tendency to equate violence and sexual violence but I would argue that sexual violence is different in quality from normal violence, and arguably worse. Sexual violence brings particular psychological scars that physical violence does not. Also, men seem to occupy contradictory positions on this. Sometimes they judge women for walking alone and putting themselves in danger of rapists or serial killers. (It's often the flipside of victim-blaming.) Other times they judge women f…

Since I already made a post about it, I'm gonna refer to what the Mating Grounds has to say about this (run by Tucker Max and evolutionary psychologist Dr Geoffrey Miller). Contrary to what The Red Pill seems to think, social status is not the only attribute which women consider or find attractive in a partner. Aside from social status, women also look for men with who will make a good partner and/or a good father. The list of traits that women find attractive include: kindness, intelligence, we…

i'm glad to hear you think it's a decent resource. kinda agree with you on geoffrey miller. i guess i will try recommending the book to (some) RPers then, at least it's probably a step up from they believe in. i think the issue with evopsych stuff in general is 1) it's an emergent field and 2) it doesn't really deal much with psychology/mental states beyond rather primitive biological instincts, and therefore i think misses a lot of stuff when you try to apply it to the real world. i think at so…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
