Interesting. It'd help to know your ages. Some women aren't really square with a 9-5 job, and they want the man to be the main breadwinner so they can play housewife and have kids - y'know, traditional nuclear family shit. So it's probably not just that she's overwhelmed by the 9-5 job, she's also probably feeling general disillusionment about it. Like, "Is this it? For real? I can do this shit by myself, but I have a boyfriend I'm living with so something's supposed to happen with that, right? …

Not exactly red pill, but I did change my mind on feminism. Mostly I saw males being "feminist" as stupidly unnecessary favoritism. Favoritism is just as dehumanizing as discrimination. And guys were just kind of doing that like to get pussy-karma points or something. Like even if you were being cool to 10 fat chicks, you still got pussy points and maybe that would get you a reasonable lay somewhere down the line. Gender favoritism is wildly disingenuous, the only reason guys do it is because th…

I think there are guys who just "understand already" and don't really need the label, and then there are Redditors and internet junkies. Guys who get it are already living their life just fine and are off the damn radar. The internet junkies look like the average internet junkie. I think eventually internet junkies eventually "get it" and discharge themselves from the entire internet business. No dating sites, no forums like this. They just get it. One of the ways I think you start to know you g…

I believe that's what TRP advocates too, but it quickly gets misconstrued and TRP is usually associated with misogyny and toxicity. Trying to defend TRP on this one usually begs the "no true Scotsman" fallacy. We're getting off your original topic here, but yeah, shit like that is part of why I would refuse to call myself "Red Pill." The rep is just so toxic.

It means you have to take into account who they are as human beings. Which, I find to be a major key that PUA, Seddit, and Red Pill all lack when it comes to hetero male & female dynamics. Just treat people like human beings and you'll go a whole lot further - whether you want to be "just friends" or sexually intimate. This is also the thing that Blue Pill and Feminism seems unable to describe but keeps alluding to. I also think this is why Red Pillers come up short on being true alphas. They ar…

They can only be friends in that hetero boy/girl way. A friend who is a girl will never be a friend who is a guy, because a girl will never be a guy. Unless she gets a sex change. So.... there you go. Stop expecting women to be men, and you'll do fine.

Calling me back, texting me back, being reliable, and spelling correctly. Only dudes and dogs do that. Women only give it up if they're married, even then I hear it's uphill. So really, let's just change your sentence: "Women are cats."

I almost believe in oneitis. I read The Game by Neil Strauss, and towards the end of the book his testimonial makes a strong case for oneitis. "I want to believe," is my conclusion. But today, I just kind of think of oneitis as somewhat irrelevant. I think a man's trouble with connecting with women is merely a symptom of larger problems. Confidence issues, social anxiety issues, self-esteem issues, phobias, and the like. Lots of guys leave the nest less-than-prepared for the modern world, and th…

to be fair i am not sure feminist know what feminism is any more. Nailed it right there. I've been saying that for a while. Even if a feminist goes to the wikipedia page to read about it, they're still likely to come away saying anything other than original first sentence: "Feminism is a collection of movements and ideologies that share a common goal: to define, establish, and achieve equal political, economic, cultural, personal, and social rights for women." It quickly devolves into some bulls…

I'm gonna take sexism for $500, OP. I'm gonna say most women should never get drunk, and if a man ever sees a drunk woman he should stay the hell away from her because she is TROUBLE. My belief is based on the whole "women's brains are like a ball of wire" simile. To me, that means their natural state is like they're already kind of drunk. So giving somebody who's brain is like that any amount of alcohol is just asking to accelerate their craziness. Are you kidding? Why?

"You cannot win in a fight against women, because men have a need to make sense." - Chris Rock That being said, I think when it comes to getting hit by a woman you probably don't need to the call the cops, but you do need to hard "next" her. I was slapped (somewhat "playfully") by a woman at a night club and right then and there I had to lay down the law: "A word of advice," I said. "Don't ever hit me again." SHE WAS PISSED. Right. I think notch count is pretty much like pedestalizing and is asking to get a disease or unplanned pregnancy from a rando you don't care about. It's ironically supplicative, and ironically not-seductive. TRP is about getting control over you life and not letting women and pussy own the hell out of you. I don't believe that these women are half as smart as they think. Actually the vast majority of women who would label themselves as being smart are just nagging frustrated bitches and the next sentence will contain something related to "strong wymyn". Well shit-- women do this all the time to their significant others Strippers and slutty goth chicks. Just throwing that out there in case anybody asks "who?" She can dread game him all day. Or a player who can speak womanese but dates a good girl who can't speak manspeak. He can dread game her all day.

Dang, man. I just don't see how monogamy with this woman is a fun idea. Part of it, I feel like, might be the fact that she has been bombarded with sex her whole life. That's you trying to feel for her, right there. Like you're going to her therapist on her behalf or something. By that I mean "you don't know for sure" about whether that's a hypothesis or a conclusion or whether it's true or false. The idea that I hold close (for fear of forgetting it, often) is "You can't negotiate attraction." Yeah, but you're married. It's a longterm thing and commitment to monogamy. Monogamy, to me, is a like a living document and a living contract - thus therefore subject to ongoing negotiation. This is why people say "marriage is work." Both parties have to work at it for the entire duration of it - otherwise you're in a bullshit situation where you're doing all the work and she's doing all the sitti…

Can she ever become "that woman" first and then you become "that guy"? Oh, believe me, we've had that conversation. Many times. She feels she just can't. She knows she should, but she can't "fake it." Well... you have "my" permission to date other women on the sly. That's my beef with today's women. Hell, yesterday's women too. Well, that is interesting. In a way, it's like she has you tamed first. She gets you to be "that guy" and then she'll become "that woman." Can she ever become "that woman" first and then you become "that guy"? You're also touching a bit on fetishism and a tad bit on roleplaying. That seems like a frustrating situation you've got. Having to bring your A-game every damn time, like you can never relax and be yourself. Which seems like a problem with /r/seduction philosophy. It's a large circle to square with "congruence" - one of the things they preach at men to try and be. If you're just acting "da MAN" as you say, is that really congruent with where you're actually at? Probably not. Theory in /r/seduction is you can tame a woman if you develop the skills and improve yourself. Being a badass dude will get her to submit. Extending the theory, type 1's and type 2's are not badass dudes, they're losers. A woman is technically incapable of falling for a loser - at least not for very long. She can only use a loser. That being said, some women are evil enough that they only want loser-men. You could be king-badass and she'd rather go for a rich loser for the divorce-rape because m…

It's a well known fact that if you put a lot of salad in your mouth instead of sausages in your mouth, your mouth will stay a little more pure. I don't think the idea that the porn market collapsed because there was too much demand makes any sense. It's not the main reason it collapsed, but it was a factor. The promise of "pussy worship" under the guise of "sex positiveness" was a major factor in anybody and everybody considering wether to be a supplier. Any time there's two M's, they're either a little (or a lot) bisexual or submissive, or they're supplicative and put their own needs in the backseat. You Blue Pillers first have to explain what Red Pill is in order to define yourselves as Blue Pill. C'mon, now.

It's actually pretty embedded into RP theory, the way I see it. The ebonicism of a woman either being a "bitch" or a "ho" is spot on. Except that even a bitch is a ho. The gist being that men pay for sex no matter what they do. They either put up with a woman's attitude or pay cash. The only way to win is for a man to reject the capitalistic paradigm about sex. "Love" should be the only reason for sex, in other words. However, even if a man rejects the capitalistic paradigm there are plenty of w…

I just think it's the trend to lean on the LGBT community to find loopholes is heterosexual dynamics and heterosexual theory. It gets tiresome. You could shout: "I don't CARE about LGBT, it doesn't apply to what we're talking about!!!" and the response would be, "Well why don't you care about LGBT??? Are you a hater? Are you a homophobe?"

I agree, but not quite as often and it's because they have some theory they've cared enough to write down and post somewhere.

You're kidding yourself if you think you can just get out scot free if it doesn't work out with your baby mama just because you didn't get married. True dat. The Aunts, Uncles, and Grandparents of your children will forever be connected to you and you will always, always, always have to answer to them on some level. They say when you get married, you're marrying the entire family. Having children is what cements that idea 1000%.

Sometimes there's too many odd commentors. Seriously, some days I think I'm reading: "Stop trolling! It's common knowledge that some men have vaginas too! I personally know at least 3 of them!" and "Stop trolling! It's common knowledge that some women have penises too! I personally know at least 3 of them!" It's like a Reddit-disease that Redditors can pick up just from being on Reddit.

Isn't this the "No True Scotsman" fallacy? Every time a red piller says, "Ok, I'm pretty sure this is a Blue Pill stance" somebody from Blue Pill comes along and says, "bullshit, nobody ever said that" - obviously somebody did though, but no "real person" according to the BluePiller. That's a recurring problem on the Purple Pill sub - Blue Pillers agree on shit only when it's convenient and it's difficult to hold them accountable for anything. It's like the other side of the fence is 50% solid g…

You're right, that's exactly what it says. As much as I'd like to educate the /r/seduction community about seduction, I kind of feel that the /r/seduction community isn't really about "seduction," it's mostly about NEW guys with a bit of social anxiety, a fresh subscription to Playboy Magazine, and a "Tinder" app on their iPhone looking trying to get their dating life started. Even if I say why it works there'll still be some kind of info-war about gender stereotypes, political correctness, LGBT…

Until you're a man who decides your cock isn't free of charge, you're going to get the confirmation bias you're looking for. Part of the AWALT that RP theory is based on is short-term dating. If you're just going to hit it and quit it, you're going to leave the women you connect with with the exact same liabilities they had when you found them.

If you're not a ho, you have a right to be fat because your pussy is more golden than ho-pussy. "At least I'm not a ho" = fat entitlement. That being said, more men will go for a fit ho than they will a fat nice-girl. Who cares what number you are in the gangbang line, I ain't pursuing fat.

confirmation bias That was on the tip of my tongue! Ugh. But yes. TRP didn't totally kill my interest in marriage, but it did make me a lot more rational about the idea. The way I see it is there are bad girls and good girls, some of them will really like you (or not) and some of them will really love you (or not). You have to know the difference between the bad girls and good girls and you have to be able to read whether or not a woman likes you, loves you, or neither. Failure to know that stuf…

The reason why it goes too far, in my opinion, is they don't know why it works. If you know why negging works, you won't need to use it so much or so heavily. But if you don't know, you'll use it and abuse it because you'll be like, "Well, it works." It sucks that guys overuse it, but there's not much you can do about it. What you can do in the competition is use a lighter, more artful touch.

That is "a" type of problem. Another type of problem is the difference between the way men and women think and each gender's willingness to try and train their brain to see across the aisle. The stereotype of men's brains being a series of compartments and women's brains being like spaghetti, for example. A man will go further with women if he can get his brain to flow with spaghetti and a woman will go further with men if she can get her brain to think in terms of compartmentalization. Most wil…

I just see TRP as a paradigm that mostly lives in one's head. The problem with any paradigm is that your epistemology is typically based on empiricism. Meaning: "I sensed something, therefore it is true." The same shit happens over on /r/seduction, /r/ufos, /r/christianity, and whatever else. The problem with empiricism is you'll dig around and find evidence to support whatever conclusion you want -- bad science, in other words. That said, you probably can't 100% escape empiricism, no matter how…

Your headline describes the bulk of dating advice over at /r/seduction. Instead of finding 1 gf, every dude on there is trying to get 10 hot chicks at once. If you chase two rabbits, you'll catch neither. But apparently if you clench your fists hard enough, you can be just like Hugh Hefner.

Actually, I've come to find "be yourself" is a hell of a riddle. Perhaps you first have to find yourself before you can be yourself. If you know who you are, then being yourself can be very powerful. If you don't know who you are, then being yourself might be pretty ineffective. And probably what happens is most guys don't know who they are, so they don't do very well.

Tell you what, I was advised that I should date women that made more money than me. I'm like: "Ok. Fine." Crickets. Well goddammit I can't wait forever. Now I'm back to dating women who typically make less than me. Women that make more money automatically feel they have risen up in the ranks and that they deserve more. That's just the way it is. And the women that do marry-down the economic chain make the same damn mistake all the men make and they become sugar-mommas in unhealthy relationships.…

One of the things they don't really mention in this subreddit is women do a great deal of their own reading on this subject too. I know /r/fPUA exists, but you know what else exists is magazines like Cosmo and the like. Hell, love and seduction has been the main driver of witchcraft since the beginning of time. This is really their territory. Some of the techniques I learned from listening to Joshua Pellicer (Tao of Badass) I see some women already utilize. If you're an attractive dude, you've h…

Well, she's not the only girl in my life. You have to analyze why she's "crazy." A lot of dudes on this sub would be impatient and advise I kick her to the curb. But patience is how you win. A lot of women appear crazy to men, but I don't think men put in the time to understand. This is partially why I think /r/seduction is loaded with bullshitters. She would have struck while the iron was hot if she was a gay man. In fact, the iron was hot at least 3 different times a couple months ago, but, she opted not to strike then, she opted to dive deeply into games. The more I think of it, the more I think her bf might just be a cover, and she's using him specifically so she can play games. (Unless he's a gay dude, that's one poor bastard.) I'm currently involved with a hardcore psychological seductress that I'm trying to get away from. You've got my upvote. For real, this is about "seduction" which is about being in control. OP just sort of wrote something along the lines of, "Fuckit, it's a conspiracy of rich people and pretty girls," as though men may want to choose to forfeit the club arena because they won't have control. I'm for positivity, optimism, and ideas -- not conspiracy theories and giving up on human-to-human interaction.

This entire comment thread is annoying. 14 "approaches" in the same night club is stupid. Especially if the club you went to has a consistent scene of regulars, you might've killed your whole rep. You can talk to 14 women in a night club, but labelling them all as "approaches" and treating them all as "approaches" is dumb. Just try approaching two women (per club) next time, OP. Relax. Nah, this is a real story not sensational shit on /r/confessions. you're so surprised that a girl may be cheating or be in a non-serious relationship?
