So unfair. Due to this sort of blatant censorship, it's almost impossible to find pictures of scantily clad women anywhere! Oh, wait.

I guess I was responding less to you personally than to the whole thread. Yes, I think there is a bit of a double standard. But there are lots of people here who are saying it's not a joke, that she's a man hater, etc etc. These are the sorts of comments being upboated: Katherine Heigl is the biggest man hater around and When this vile sexist bitch advocated castrating men (and pets), "A Vocie For Men" listed her as a "bigot" on register-her.com. Many recovering whiteknight-oholics on this board…

Really? You think she was actually making a serious threat? Or are you know full well that it was a joke, and you're pretending to be outraged so you can make a bit deal of how unfair the media is to men? Either way you're an idiot. Also, how is she "not known for joking." Most of the movies she's in are comedies. That PSA she did for spaying and neutering, whatever you think of it, was supposed to be funny.

How is it different in nature? Both are joking about people killing significant others.

Chris Rock on prenups Everybody needs a prenuptial agreement. People think you gotta be rich to get a prenup. Oh no! You got 20 million and your wife want 10, big deal! You ain’t starvin’. But if you make 30,000… and your wife want 15, you might have to kill her. http://www.dead-frog.com/comedians/jokes/chris_rock

question: if someone posts things to r/beatingwomen, would that mean he's not a real MRA but merely some scallywag trying to make MRAs look bad?

You said "Requiring a note from a wife is demeaning." But no one is requiring a note. It's a joke along the lines of "lol wimminz sure do get worked up about the silly stuff."

I would bet you one bazillion dollars that this rule is not enforced -- nay, that it is a joke. That is aimed at the wives.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
