I'm on board with the other guy. College was way too easy. It definitely depends on the school you go to. Everyone on my floor thought I was an asshole the first half of freshman year because I have a resting bitch face and was pretty introverted. I had four decently close friends by the end of freshman year but it was absurd how easy it was to hook up at parties or meet girls while volunteering. Just my personal experience but it all depends on how much you're putting yourself out there (quanti…

Honestly dude, you pursued one avenue for a year. I'm guessing rugby doesn't involve more than say thirty people on a team. Let's say that you get the flu and your doctor says hey fabianheartiness wanna try this new medicine to cure it? We only tested it on thirty people. They were all of a single demographic that you don't belong to but it did work on all of them. Would you try it? Hell no man. You're in college. Try a bunch of different sports and clubs. Intramurals, dance, music shows, whatev…

What worked for me was to get experienced. What I mean is go try a bunch of shit. Salsa dancing, Brazilian jiu jitsu, learn an instrument, go fishing, go hiking, go to concerts. Go to bars alone, go to dinner/lunch alone, go to the movie theatre alone. Get comfortable being alone. Make some awesome memories that you'll cherish and that'll make you feel proud for having tried. Become interesting by being interested. Listen more than you talk and build conversation off of what the other person is …

It's normal to have blips in the road. It's not about how many times you fail at something but rather how many times you get back up and try again. If you're struggling with depression or anxiety, go see a therapist. Reddit can only help you so much. Be accountable for your happiness. This is real life and you need to take action.

Just carry on and don't worry about it. The more experience you get, the less it'll happen. If it does happen you can always own it and joke about it. Gauge the situation and roll with it.

First off join a club or two. You're in college man; take every opportunity to meet people and learn about where they're from, what they do for fun, what they hope to have a career in, etc. Stop feeling down on yourself. Like the other guy said you need to love yourself before someone else will. Set goals for yourself: First, do well in school and have a plan for a career once it's done. Go to your professors' office hours and get to know them and their research. Overall, make connections/networ…

Hey friend's sister in law! This is u/mrroeboat. Friend told me to text you haha... I was wondering if you'd be interested in grabbing a drink/doing activity at this time. Basically what I used a couple of months ago when I had the same scenario. Worked out pretty pretty pretty good! I'm probably the worst person to have a conversation with over text so I limited the texts to planning when to meet up in person. Good luck and have fun man!

Honestly it doesn't sound like you've tried so many things from what you wrote. It sounds like the main and only thing you've tried has been "seduction." You're way better off ditching reading any material related to dating/seduction at this point. Don't go take a dance class like salsa or bachata. Cause if you do this you're going to shoot yourself in the foot because your mind is hyper focused on women. Stop pursuing woman for the time being. You're twenty-three man. Twenty-three. That's SO yo…

You're investing too much time in others and not enough time and energy in yourself if this is happening to you. It's very normal to be jealous at times in relationships but you shouldn't be at the very beginning of them because there's such a low investment early on from both sides. Get your mind away from this way of thinking by keeping yourself busy and making your life valuable to YOURSELF. Ask yourself: am I happy with my job/career path, am I happy with my social life, am I happy with my p…

Don't worry too much about it. If you just started college, you have a ton of experiences/encounters ahead of you. You don't have to only meet girls during nightlife. Try some hobby or club that interests you and you never know who you might meet.

It sounds like you're in college. Immediately, you should start talking to everyone (yes including men and old ladies). Do it enough and eventually you won't even think twice about it. There really isn't a better situation to do this and get over any fear you have with talking to people.

You need to talk and actively listen to every type of person you come across. Of course, this is to the extreme but do it when possible in your day to day life; at the very least, try to see things from other people's perspective. You may also benefit from reading. There's really not a better way to enter somebody's mind than through reading in my own honest opinion. This will help you encounter experiences and challenging ideas that you probably won't come across normally. Recently, Maynard Jam…

Hey man never feel pathetic for indulging in your sexuality. Understand that when people offer the suggestion to quit masturbating or porn, that it is often not the solution to everyone's problems. Some people over indulge in it to the point where it hinders them in making progress in their goals or hurts them in some other way. Others have a "healthier" relationship with porn/masturbation. Don't take absolutes as gospel. Everyone's different and we have to take honest assessments of ourselves i…
