Most snake species are not venomous. Some regions have few or no native venomous snakes and a few inhabited places have no snakes, period. If you look for information on handling snakes, a lot of it will tend to focus on ways of mitigating the risk of bites, what to do in the event that you are bitten by a snake that you suspect is venomous, etc. That's not because people are anti-snake and, if you gave it a moment's thought, you'd notice that all of the info is written by people who are actuall…

At the lab I patronize, it's a little under $150 a pop for serum Vitamin D and testosterone.

Happy to oblige. I'm curious enough (this stuff is quite interesting to me) and the blood tests are cheap enough that I may end up having blood drawn three times, an hour apart, on the same morning, to see if I can observe same-day changes in my testosterone levels like the ones described in papers I've skimmed online. My only concern there is that the techs might jumble the order of the samples or the reports. I take the GNC triple-strength mini gel caps, in the dark blue bottle. Two in the mor…

Here are my numbers, with the values fuzzed slightly for "opsec": daily #days serum serum Vit-D since Vit-D testosterone #test (IU) incr D (ng/mL) (ng/mL) ---------------------------------------------------------------------- 1 | -- | -- | -- | 7.34 2 | 800 | 5 | 39.8 | 8.51 3 | 800 | -- | 40.5 | 9.83 4 | 1200 | 7 | 39.1 | 6.99 Where I fucked up is that I got the blood drawn for the first 3 tests at about the same time of early morning (important because serum testosterone supposedly fluctuates …

I'd suggest getting your serum Vitamin-D levels checked and, if you're low or even on the low side of what's considered the normal range, supplementing with D-3 tablets. That seems to have pushed my own serum testosterone levels way up.

I'm taking the GNC D-3 with the dark purple label. Taking two 400IU tablets each morning got my testosterone up near the top of the normal range and I increased that to three a day (for 1200 IU total) about a week ago and will be getting a new blood test in a couple of days to see where I'm at. Good luck, bro!

BNS is on point. ♂ TLDR: I take Ritalin and fish oil capsules and find them beneficial. I recently began supplementing with D3 and it has correlated with a huge increase in my testosterone level and a major decrease in generalized anxiety and neurotic/mulling-things-over mental patterns that I had just assumed were a core part of my personality. I've been taking Ritalin for years for ADD/ADHD and/or mild Asperger's. It has helped significantly with getting stuff done, keeping me on task without …
