sounds like you had a shitty mom/family who didn't listen to you but i'm wondering why you think your life would have really been different if your father was around? could def have been worse. also super confused by your question- your family is not in the situation you are describing. your dad seemed to have been around till your parents got divorced so it's not like your mom believes your dad would be gone. sometimes plans don't work out.
