Apart from being a tabloid newspaper's wet dream the problem is that apparently she met the footballers at a school event, putting *them in a position of trust (it could be argued, not my opinion).

I'm not sure, but in this case there was quite a lengthy investigation after the allegation before he was charged. So I assume (and hope) that there is more evidence than just the allegation. Regardless he shouldn't have been fired. I was just clearing up the OP's comment. He wasn't fired because of an allegation, sure the allegation may be the only reason he was charged but the club would argue that if he was charged the police have enough evidence of wrong doing. Also clubs here have done puni…

This is just as good (if not better) news for women. Lack of paternity leave means that it is the mother that has to take significant time off work. Leaving 2-3 years behind the men in their careers, leading to the false pay gap between men and women.
