If it wasn't for the C-Section, I would have lost both my partner AND my daughter. Little one decided to turn at the last possible second and be the wrong way around. I tell you, watching the heart rate monitor STOP for those few seconds... Comments like this just... I don't know. I want to be angry, but I'm more sad then anything else. Sad that people like this exist. Sad that nutjobs like this could be costing innocent people their lives.

How did this arrive to a vegetarian/omnivore fight? The original comment was that a hunter/gatherer culture would have been very unlikely to be completely gatherer based - which appears to be true, from what my limited understanding tells me. My two most formative male influences were my father who taught me how to be a gentleman to my fiance and how to be a father to my daughter. The second was my Year 10 Maths Teacher/Badminton Coach. He taught me how to stand up for myself and to not feel innately guilty because of my genitalia and proved that, despite what society would teach us, we aren't monsters. I don't mind admitting I shed more then one tear when he retired the following year.

I think that the largest problem is that the Feminism that really matters to a lot of us who espouse MR is the public-facing part of Feminism. I tried really hard to take any form of accusation out of my tone. :) Honestly, your hiring practices are your own and you have every right to fill your business with people you know, trust and that will make you feel safe.
