I expect that from a man in his teens and early 20s. If he hasn’t grown out of that phase past his 20s, that is definitely odd. At 41 his priorities and hobbies should shift

Him mentioning her looks is very odd. He shouldn’t be looking at women besides you in that way . She’s also a classmate/colleague so their relationship shouldn’t even be platonic level

I think people nowadays look too much into how much money a man makes and if he can afford to live in a HCOL city but don’t look at his relationship with money. It’s easy to spot a man who has financial issues but you’ll have to do a bit of research to ask the right questions. How financially literate is he? How much is he investing? What assets does he have? Does he have a budget? Does he live within his means? Does he pay himself first? Besides 9-5 income what other income is he generating pas…

I’d recommend moving and starting over. Try to find a job that’s not the 80 year old man and build a savings account. Start using free resources online and start educating yourself and learning a useful skill. Go to therapy to unpack your past so it doesn’t affect your future from here on out. Also start building a relationship with Faith. You don’t need to be religious but it’s really important to have faith in order to heal and be guided in your next steps

You need to change the environment you’re in and have new experiences. You’re not going to attract them going to your local spots. You need to travel, go to networking events, join different communities. And start being well versed in different topics

I think it takes a lot of courage to come up to someone to compliment them. Usually I’m flattered and say thank you then move along. I only get annoyed when I’m at the gym with headphones in . or they sneak up behind me at a grocery store with ulterior motives like “hey! Are you shopping for vegan food. Any recommendations ? Im trying to change my diet and eat healthier. gives them recommendations. Also can I get your number?”

Most men who go online saying to strictly date only 19-22 year olds and women over 25 are “ran through” are usually not dating anyone AT ALL. I do see the rare occasion of an older wealthy man with a younger girl where I live but for the most part , people date within their age group
/r/PurplePillDebate07/08/23 02:55 AM

Disagree. Chemistry is not just physical attraction. I’ve been attracted to many guys but immediately lost attraction when he’s not a good conversationalist, vain/only talks about himself, rude to wait staff, etc

I don’t think men are failing or ever were. They just got more entitled. The woman must be a hot Instagram model but also a virgin, young, skinny, low body count, sleep with him on demand yet also split bills. Nowadays women can earn more so the man she dates just needs to add value or treat her well

Men should date who their type is, not settle for a woman wishing she looked like someone else. And if he can’t find his dream girl, just be single. Time and time again, I’ve seen men throw away marriages and their wives for someone who he thought he deserved. It’s unfortunate to rob a woman of her years when he was never attracted to her in the first place Women shouldn’t waste time arguing with men about how a man should be, calling them broke and insulting them. There’s a lot of pressure for …

I don’t view men in my day to day life as attractive or unattractive. I only assess those who i decide to date. The guys I’ve dated never been my “type” they all been average and that’s ok with me because they treat me good

How is the woman the predator if she’s just existing and a man flies to her country to pursue her? He knows the risks of bringing her back for citizenship

he gets something out of being with Lauren too. She’s upgraded his style, he’s going to Coachella , meeting and partying with a new circle of friends. He’s dressing better and he’s in shape now. Men like women who adds value to his life . In this case she makes him feel young again

Being overweight doesn’t automatically mean unattractive because I just told you men are into those girls. If a man can fuck it there’s going to be a market for them. Why don’t you give actual examples of a hot guy with an ugly woman. In Hollywood, emrata and her ugly ass thumb looking husband who cheated on her
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/23 10:12 PM
10

Serious question. How often do you see a hot guy with an ugly girl? Not a mid girl, not a butter fave girl. like an actual ugly girl? Because I can give you several examples of the opposite.

Many guys are into overweight chicks.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/23 10:05 PM

But the question comes, would the ugly guy date the ugly girl 🤔 probably not, ugly men want hot women

this modern/traditional men talk are reserved for men who are chronically online. Thank God the men around me aren’t like this at all. People are just normal, they go to work and see their partner as their equal

I don’t think women mean his physique only. It’s about his personality and lifestyle inside and outside the gym. Very difficult to cohabitate with someone who’s cutting out carbs for the week. The only girls I see at my gym with a gymbro is if she’s a gymbro herself. They match in training and physique

You know what, now that you mention it..my friend has BPD. She often talks about it but i never pay attention to it really. However looking at her relationship patterns , she tends to choose the most tumultuous situations and she’s very unstable when it comes to dating . She can’t be single ever. When someone stable comes along she rejects him and goes after dudes who don’t want her. That being said I avoid partners who have personality disorders as well
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/23 10:12 PM

It’s not at all. but time and time again, the very women men complain about on here such high n count etc are often the ones they invest their time and energy on. They’re very rarely after the religious church girl they say they want . Instead They reward promiscuity, toxicity and non traditional values by investing their time talking about it
/r/PurplePillDebate16/03/23 11:44 AM

Men reward women who are promiscuous. It’s where their attention goes

I see the posts in my city’s page. Some deserve to be posted as they are a danger (ie stalker, RO against them). These allegations are followed with screenshots and DMs. But others - where the guy ghosted after a ons and the person went into it knowing it was so is just dumb. It doesn’t make him a red flag by default

In the past (in high school). I was with someone who was embarrassed to be seen with me! In the hallway he would walk past me like I didn’t exist then text me to hang out after school. I broke things off with him then he got mad for some reason. He kept telling people he was single so I let him be single In recent history, I traveled half way around the world to another country and the guy just ghosted me. Left me there all alone in a foreign place so there’s that

Huh? Are you okay? Marrying someone means they see you fit as the person they would want to raise their child with, who they want to start a family with, who they will honor their commitments with. What does marriage have to do with finding them less attractive? Would you rather be pumped and dumped?

What? My worst have been attraction at first sight. Maybe because just going with the flow and enjoying each other’s companies and comfort took pressure off?? Red pillers are usually the ones complaining about body count and how they want nothing to do with women with an N count. Also how they only want to settle down with a virgin or someone who’s younger because they have a lower n count. Isn’t that a conservative mindset?

Just because this sub thinks a woman can get sex easier, doesn’t mean that’s what they want. Most women do not operate with the same brain as men to sleep with as many people as they possibly can. Also, a woman will almost never say no to a man she’s interested in. So when she does, it’s not a challenge to change her mind or trick her into thinking otherwise
/r/PurplePillDebate19/11/22 04:41 PM

I didn’t mean a literal friendzoned guy becoming a boyfriend. I meant finding friendship in your relationship beyond romance and intimacy. Because one day you’re both going to grow old, the honeymoon phase will end, your looks will fade. What do you have left?

I have a lot of empathy for men who are lonely. I think mental health for men is not emphasized enough in society. but I don’t have empathy for men who simply can’t find sex and then get angry at women for it.

MGTOW heavily promotes pumping and dumping. MGTOW should be promoting completely leaving women alone for good and truly going their own way. That’s the only true safety they can do for women and in that case, way more than any feminist movement can do

I prefer pre dating app age because you cannot create chemistry. Nothing sucks more when you spend all the time texting and meeting up, getting disappointed. Whereas if you meet someone in person, by chance, you just know you want to know them more so you put in more effort. Both men and women are shopping for the next best thing on the apps. Men think women have it on easy mode because they have more options to sleep with but it’s not easy for women NOT looking for this. In fact I find it insul…

No matter how the woman answers she loses. Think about this when you’re forming friendship, do you ask your friends what they bring to the table? If you saw no value with them, why did you waste your time pursuing them and then ask them what they bring to the table

I like that men take initiative. To ask someone out, to plan a date, to want to get married, etc. It’s not easy and people shouldn’t let it go unnoticed
/r/PurplePillDebate17/10/22 12:31 PM

Not necessarily, some men look good with the weight. This depends on height too. A guy 5’4 and below probably doesn’t carry the extra weight as well as a 5’10 guy

My question is where are 35 year olds finding 22 year olds ? He’s either online dating setting age filter to intentionally find young girls, sugar sites, going to night clubs, finding a young foreign girl in impoverished countries, transactional places like yacht parties, camping out on her college campus or being creepy and frequenting the coffee shop she’s a barista at.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/10/22 05:35 PM

I can guarantee you any man who thinks a woman “expires” is literally not a loss or a man any grown woman would want 😂 they can go for the naive young ones . It’s funny because when I was 22, dating a 28 year old he resented me and got bitter bc I didn’t have a job yet and couldn’t split bills with him. These older men nowadays can barely support himself let alone a young woman they supposedly see as having more “value”
/r/PurplePillDebate11/10/22 03:21 PM

Men are still shallow lmfao
/r/PurplePillDebate19/09/22 06:55 AM

Exactly. This made news and an article is written on it because society cannot wrap their head around a fat woman/“hot” man combo. And people want her to wake up everyday believing he will cheat on her because she’s not conventionally attractive.

/r/PurplePillDebate07/09/22 11:18 AM

I’ve seen this scenario too many times. Usually a group of guys between 21-25 talk extremely loudly , having they locker room talk outside. Refer to women as “bitches” would show his friends her photos and they would loudly laugh/rate them making their entire conversation heard around them.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/09/22 03:54 PM

so maybe you were raised correctly but sadly it’s not the case for many others. I’ll give an example - I was grocery shopping once and this dude was camping in the aisles and approaches me to ask me out. I said I wasn’t interested/not looking for anyone. He said to give him just one date he PROMISES I’ll like him. I already said I wasn’t interested so why did he try to change my mind? Did I think he was going to harm me? No. But it’s the fact that he couldn’t take my initial no as a final answer…
/r/PurplePillDebate01/09/22 12:25 PM

Maybe they break up with him because he won’t commit to them and he’s letting them go since they’re still at an age where they can start a family with someone else
/r/PurplePillDebate01/09/22 11:19 AM
77

Unfortunately time and time again women are taught to be “polite” like in Allison’s case because many times men do not respond well to “no.” They see it as a challenge or even become more enraged and harm her. In many situations women dance around the issue or comply for her own safety. Men need to be taught no means no and it’s not a sign to further press the issue.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/09/22 11:16 AM

Emrata getting cheated on by her UGLY THUMB looking husband when she can easily bag any man she wanted. It’s not news. Ugly men cheat too and once they get a hot girl or someone they perceive to be better than them, they have the confidence to go after more. Hot men cheat too but not as much because they go after the women they know they deserve
/r/PurplePillDebate22/08/22 04:31 PM
16

The person is always blamed to be the reason they’re cheated on for not being attractive enough and the blame is never placed on the cheater. I’ll give an example. Emrata- literally one of the most beautiful and sought after woman in the world getting cheated on by her THUMB looking ugly ex husband. Why is that? She’s successful, beautiful what else could she have done to keep her husband from doing so?
/r/PurplePillDebate22/08/22 04:29 PM

Low value, ugly and broke men cheat as well lol. In fact they do the most. Women would rather get cheated on by Chad than some loser she settled on So what’s your solution? Women should pick the bottom of the barrel ?

I always see that men don’t settle ever especially with ugly women. They know exactly what and who they want. He may be with her in that season of his life or who’s available at the time but he will be resentful at some point that he settled and will never be fully committed. Men only settle if the woman is the breadwinner, he’s financially dependent on her, or he’s a beta male who will take abuse because he thinks he can’t do better. even then, he will hold resentment towards her. Once they rea…

Yes absolutely. I fell for my coworker but luckily he left the company and moved away lol. He wasn’t attractive or my type whatsoever but we had really good conversations. He always knew what to say and gave me advice when it came to work/life. It’s just attractive when someone can come up with the solution. And he was blunt too, never sugarcoated anything and would tell me when I’m the problem. I started to really like him but I didn’t tell him

But the man holds the ring to marriage. Some women stay with men for 10+ years waiting for HIM a to progress the relationship. The man ends up marrying who he wants not who he can.

In my case, I learned what I don’t want from the past and make sure I don’t put myself in that situation again. Women/men only find better if they do some serious self reflection and figure out what they do/don’t want as well as their own toxic tendencies. Get to the root of the issue and heal to not only find a better partner but be…

I’m convinced men in the manosphere actually want eachother. They are emotionally invested into other men, think like other men want to be like other men. They just enjoy the female anatomy from time time but nothing about a woman can be viewed as human to them

I’ve lost quite a few male friends after they confessed to me and I didn’t feel the same. They usually cut me off which is completely understandable. Sometimes they just need their space. And sometimes they don’t cut me off. Either way I support their decision to do what’s best for them. I’m genuinely happy when the guy ends up finding someone (they usually do) that can fully appreciate him About 8 or 9 years ago I had some guy in college confess to me. The feelings were not mutual and he ended …

I don’t think all misogynistic men are necessarily abusive. I’ve dated and worked with some misogynistic men. Are they idiots? Yes. but they’re not all abusive. Some of the men I’ve dated grew up in another culture and they don’t see it as misogynistic until I educated them. It’s really hard to tell who will abusive but a few ways to vouch in the beginning is seeing how they respond to “no.” Even for minor things. An abuser does not do well to no. Also setting boundaries and sticking to them

The sad thing Women usually stay with shitty men in hopes they can change or they see the guy’s potential to be better. When the woman has finally had enough emotional damage and heals from it she sets boundaries for next man in which she also gets shamed for not vouching better in the first place. It’s a lose lose situation

Regardless of what feminism preaches, casual sex benefits men only. Women don’t need men to feel sexually satisfied whereas men can nut with whomever, whenever. There’s no reward for women to continue giving her body and risking pregnancy to a man unless she sees something long term in him. But if HE doesn’t want to settle down, doesn’t matter how hot she is - he will not settle down. Men have the upper hand when it comes to getting in relationships. And women aren’t declining marriage, they are…

Women don’t get into relationships with men purely based on looks. And this is said because men usually are the ones who decides if he wants the relationship past the sexual stage. A woman who continually sleeps with the guy most likely wants to settle down with him, but he’s the one who ultimately seals the deal. Same thing with marriage, it’s usually in the hands of the man

The ick happens when the rose colored glasses come off and you see the person you romanticized do things that show they’re a human being. When I see guys describe their ick, it’s not the same. When I was in Colombia a guy from Brooklyn a few blocks down where I was staying died. He went off with a Colombian prostitute who drugged him, stole all his belongings and left him for dead. No one was ever held responsible for that. And this is the sad case for many men who run off with rando women there then paint Colombia out to be the most dangerous place ever. Whenever I see guys who get so angry about dating being hard for him, how he can’t find girls, get laid, etc it’s because he hasn’t tied himself to a purpose or a goal. These guys are in their feminine energy and want to be pursued. They only feel confident when a woman is chasing after them. once a man figures out his purpose, his goals and his values - the women, the money, the success will just flow. And then he becomes more intentional and confident in himself

I respond pretty well when a guy notices something on me other than my looks like my outfit. For example, I’m a huge sneaker head and when someone notices my sneakers , I know we speak the same language/similar interests. I know plenty of girls who’s never had relationships/never been kissed in their 30s. Everytime I see MGTOW, it’s less about male empowerment and more talking about women being damaged goods. No one is stopping or against men going their own way. It depends. I looked like shit in my early 20s. I finally could afford braces and to invest in myself (personal training) in my late 20s. Now I look like I’m early 20s. Some people in their early 20s look like mid 30s. Men look good after 27

People have misconceptions those who do combat sports are violent. I think it’s the opposite and I’ve seen it. People who have aggressive tendencies should do a combat sport to practice self control. because if you don’t control your anger and your mind, you will lose every time. Your opponent will know all your weak spots and how to get under your skin. That’s why you hear guys talking shit every time during sparring and you can easily tell who has self control and who doesn’t
/r/PurplePillDebate20/04/22 12:15 PM

I used to do Muay Thai and the guys upstairs would do BJJ. Some of the most physically attractive guys I’ve seen were doing combat sport. But to me I’m more attracted to their mindset and discipline. I never seen men practice as much self control as I did in those kinds of gym . They were also very nice despite almost knocking each other out

I became really bitter at one point because I kept attracting men who took advantage of me emotionally and financially. I thought that by making myself less of a burden to date by not requiring anything of them, I’d be loved more but I was wrong. Not setting boundaries will have a dude not respect you and walk all over you. I traveled 9000 miles for a guy and he ended up ghosting me. Pretty privilege depends where you live. I live in the east coast working in STEM. Can you get a job here looking good but dumb as shit? Helllllll no! Those things are not as valued here. People also don’t date here based on looks but rather status, socioeconomic or education level. In college, a “hot girl” got the teaching assistant position. I think because men aren’t taught to deal with their emotions so when a great woman is in his life, she grounds him and makes him feel at peace. Women can generally find peace outside of a relationship but what a great man in her life can do is to allow her to trust more and let her guard down. also be a good father to her children

Move on to a man who doesn’t sleep on the first date. Usually men who want to sleep on the first date will also move on quickly . Whether you’re independent and make your own money or I aM tHe TabLe you will lose the argument. Think about it, do you ask your friends what they bring to the table? Yeah this is why I have a problem with men who say they don’t care about a woman’s job. It just matters that she cooks and cleans and stays home. Okay? Well do you have the income to support the household? Or women on FDS spewing how they will never go 50/50 with a guy or that something is wrong with him if he can’t pay for everything.

The average people in real life do not survive on a single household income. if they are, due to one person not being able to work, they’re struggling to get by or living paycheck to paycheck. This is opposite from what is described on here of women wanting men to be the provider of the household while men wanting women who just stays home. This isn’t practical unless he’s filthy rich

If they don’t want to date someone who has a bunch of casual sex, why do they take that person (that they know do so) on a date? Isn’t that what escorts are at their disposal for? And if they’re taking someone they see as partner potential, why are they expecting sex right away? This proves that women shouldn’t be putting out on the first date, period because it means men don’t see them as potential at all

I always hear them say that women over 25 are useless and something is wrong with them if they’re single. To them it means they were promiscuous in their 20s or refused to settle. That’s not always the case. Some women are figuring out their career and their path in life. I recognize getting to know someone takes time. If someone is so into you in the beginning; it’s usually a red flag. I lift weights 3-5 times a week and more toned but they notice my face first before my body since I tend to wear baggy clothes.

Sometimes a guy isn’t my type or I’m not attracted to him even if he is conventionally “attractive.” It doesn’t mean I’ll say “it’s because you’re ugly.” the less attractive guys are the rich ones anyways lol

You’re not running out of time at all. Dating is trial and error. When it doesn’t work, be glad you see the signs ahead of time. Trust me, it’s way better than settling. This is soooooo cliche but When you start focusing on yourself and do the things that make you happy, things will start aligning and you’ll attract. We always end up disappointed because we place too much emphasis on the outcome. We will grab on to any small act of kindness in hopes they can overshadow the big red flags. By bein…

I would assume if he has a double life, it would mean my time with him is scheduled/limited . I’m also good at searching people online even if he doesn’t have social media but maybe a LinkedIn

Honestly it’s a huge sigh of relief. Social media makes things worse IMO. Why is your Facebook memory 4 years ago with photos with your ex? Why did you it say you like that girl’s photo? Why do you only follow certain models? Why are you hiding the fact we’re together? Why do you make it look like you’re single? Why did you like that meme about side chicks? Who’s in your DMs? Social media certainly creates unnecessary complications in relationships that don’t even exist. When I’m with a guy who …

He was here studying English on an i20 which was confusing because his English is very good. I don’t know what his goal was here in the US. He’s still somewhere in the states but I think he will have to return to his country soon. I just don’t see him getting a job here. Well daddy’s money was running out and he ended up scamming me $4,000. I’m sure they’re very nice people but that experience made me a little put off by Algerians

Haha the funny thing is his mother was French and even he doesn’t speak French. He spoke only Arabic and Berber or whatever. He got humbled real quick when he came here to America and realized no one gave a fuck about him. He constantly complained about dealing with rejection which he’s never experienced before. I did not even know what he meant by Black people aren’t capable of speaking French? Like is it some sort of elitist language only some who are worthy can speak? because I dated a Haitia…

Lol dated an Algerian guy, he thought he was God’s gift to earth (he wasn’t). And it’s true, the casual racism that would spew out of his mouth had me in disbelief. “Hitler did a good thing” and “Black people don’t know how to speak French.” Well I’m very glad I’m not with him anymore! He always said Algerian girls are the prettiest like I guess there’s a region where they have light eyes and light hair mixed with French or whatever.

Congrats for your sister but it has nothing to do with you and you shouldn’t feel less than, This is where you have to put emotions aside and think long term. If he’s not willing to be a high achiever, ask yourself is this the kind of man you would want to raise a kid with? You have to think logically about the future. Do you see yourself growing with him?

Because men often refer to a woman’s appearance especially her body when he describes her. Men are the consumers of magazines with scantily clad women that portray a certain body type. Men are likely to buy anything that has to do with a woman’s body

I financially supported my ex boyfriend because he refused to get a job. He was only able to pay for school from his parents money in another country. Everything else like rent, food, I took care of. I left him not because he was financially unstable but due to his lack of ambition and no future goals while I already have my career.

It’s human to play the victim to gain sympathy from others about how they were “wronged.” Any emotionally mature person would use a failed opportunity to learn a thing or two about themselves.

When you’re unattractive, you have to compensate somehow. I feel life is easier for someone who is attractive so an unattractive person will have to work twice as hard to make it

I stare at attractive guys 🤷🏻‍♀️ but not when he stares at me (that is, IF he even does) because I’m afraid of eye contact

My first job ever was about 9 years ago at a coffee shop. This was my first exposure to the outside world including how to deal with middle aged moms who went dinosaur when they asked for 2 creams instead of 3. It was an eye opening experience and I learned how to deal with an array of personalities including coworkers since it was such a high turnover rate environment. I like to think it developed me pretty well despite me being shy. Jobs after that became easy to deal with the most difficult p…

Okay, I completely understand how you feel but you didn’t say why you made you start feeling this way. Is he comparing you to his ex? Directly or indirectly? Has he made comments about how he misses her? Or are you just in your head creating scenarios? If it’s the first, move on. If it’s the latter, we have something to work with. Just remember he’s with you for a reason right? If he wanted to be with her, they wouldn’t have broken up. Continuing to focus on the negative will just create negativ…

You can’t ghost someone who’s ghosted you. Trust your gut, if the spark isn’t there, it’s just not there. This is normal, no hard feelings for either party. Just move on, you don’t owe him anything but you owe yourself happiness and peace of mind

First of all, Latinas are one of the most beautiful women in the world! I wish I was Latina. I’m sure many guys check you out. I think you just have to change your mindset. If you don’t want to be bothered , it’ll absolutely show in your face, your body language, and how you carry yourself. Don’t online date. All low quality men. It’s a cop out for actually going out and meeting people. Bars and club aren’t any better. Find a hobby. I found guy friends by joining martial arts (BJJ and Muay Thai)…

Start with your diet first. Believe it or not the things we eat contribute to how we feel overall and our mood. It’s great you’re starting in the right direction with a trainer/nutritionist but be aware they’re going to try to sell you a meal plan and take your money. I understand starting out, you need someone to hold you accountable but ultimately it’s up to you to make a choice. Start cutting out the junk first and start cooking your meals. I’m lazy as hell so cooking for me is stir frying a …

Tell him boy bye. It has nothing to do with looks or how well/bad the date went. If you’re not on the same page in terms of what you’re looking for, close the book and move forward. Don’t blame yourself. Can’t set the bar too high on dating apps

Theres actually many quality men where I live in the East Coast but I figured out the problem was me. There are men who would want to take me out and treat me nice but my need to have deep meaningful conversations with my dates lead me to guys who don’t. I want someone to challenge me, not yield to me but I realized these people will never be found online lol so I stopped.

Yes! This is my go to look. I love cropped bras because I’m uncomfortable in a sports bra. I usually either wear a loose top with tighter bottoms (cropped muscle tank with shorts or tight leggings) or tight top with loose bottoms (cropped bra with joggers) I’m uncomfortable wearing tight top and bottom because I’m curvier. Also, a clean pair of white sneakers are a MUST.
