I mean looking into the Magna Carta 1, the First Baron’s war and Magna Carta 2 was about how a baron pledged troops or money to conduct war, which leads to conscription. I think we don’t have a societal standardized way to handle these things and unfortunately very hurt people have standardized their arguments and institutionalized their policies such as the Duluth model. I suppose we will have to spam creation of procedures and places for sanity to be safe. One set of societal procedures for providing care is to ask if someone needs a hug, help, or to be heard. I vaguely remember the ‘study’ they base this on. Basically you had to rate if you would do something maybe inappropriate (the question was slightly vague on non-specific) based on a scale of 1-5 if 5 absolutely doing something and 1 being ‘no way.’ They eliminated the bottom of the scale as ‘outliers’ and lowered the standard of being offensive of being the upper end and that skewed the numbers.

I think a consumer aspect has permeated women’s spaces even in ‘spiritual’ spaces. It seems to feed on a need for acquisition in a way specific to women and girls. In this culture, and especially with social media, few people are Ok with being alone with their thoughts. Yeah, I’m thinking this might be more friendly than people give it credit for it. It might be along the lines of Warren Buffett and his first wife. In that case, they were essentially done with their shared mission of raising kids and she wanted to do philanthropy and live in a slightly better place. The thing is, is that when you train an animal, it trains you. This seems to be new to the field of animal training (as in the last 20-30 years) as people have understood the rammifications of behavioral conditioning. The issue with that is a human response thing. Usually over time the better responses will get upvoted, the poorer responses will get downvoted. However this does nothing for the first person in a thread. They won't know the social positioning of a post until a few hours later. The time delay between figuring out if a person is respected vs representative of assholes is not useful to the human who first interacts with it.

Be very careful with hypnosis. In neurotypical people will face less risk. I would say learn more about risks and benefits. Also check out research by Elizabeth Loftus and her studies on repressed memories. Hypnosis can help recall, but can also magnify, create, erase and decrease memories and their intensity. I don't feel comfortable discussing it out in the open, but self-hypnosis did blow up a bit in my face. It has helped in other areas though...

I don't have studies on this and probably it is politically and socially too sensitive to research. However, I do have some anecdata. Out of the very many women I know, I've heard about 2 stories of women selecting a guy, sleeping with him and basically keeping the baby under pretense. These are first person reports by female 'acquaintances' who have told me that they did this. It is kind of frightening. I was also glad that they didn't deem me worthy of being a sperm donor.

I've found people who take self-defense courses that talk about appropriate escalation tend to be the most balanced. So these women aren't curing cancer, advocating for causes, or anything like that. The are living more off of being as opposed to doing (I would say 70/30 % split). At least some former sex workers go into teaching... And poor Holly's dog. That thing seemed lonely. One of my metrics for character is how well they treat their pets.
