Health insurance is usually more expensive for women because we can get pregnant. Its just based on statistics, and how likely you are to crash. You also pay more if you start driving at 16, than say at 19. I agree that this sucks, I think everyone should pay the same, and then pay more if something happens. (I'm speaking from US perspective).
