It's free income for the new husband. In a typical family, both income comes from both parents, but in this case, there's the child support coming in as a third income. The new husband acts as the actual father to this child. I am not to sure about the law, but he probably becomes a legal guardian as well. He gets to raise the child as his own much like a normal, biological father would. So why is that he gets that bonus income? The point of child support is to make sure a child benefits from tw…

So the biological father suffers while the new one benefits. The mother also benefits. The only one losing out is the biological father.

But the mother is financially responsible for the child. When the mother marries, she and her new husband are a financial unit that shares financial burdens. Plus, if the new husband is taking part in the child's life as the primary father figure, why shouldn't he pay? Does the new husband not have a duty to raise children living in his household? Does he just leave it tohis wife to raise her children from another man and just ignore them? With the way it is now, unscrupulous women are able to e…

The new man has the responsibility to take care of the kid when he married the girl. If the woman brings her kids into the marriage, the kids are part of the family and both adults should take on the responsibility of taking care of the kids. The new husband signed up for the package. Requiring the biological father to pay child support gives that family unit three incomes while it deprives the biological father of money AND a child.

They shouldn't even report the case until after the trial IMO. Juries are typically told not to look up information regarding the case, but if the news is bombarding them with information from every direction, their opinions may be detrimentally influenced.

I don't see anything wrong with being raised by women; although more men in the teaching field would be nice. You turned it into a 'man vs. woman' thing when it isn't. It is the feminist mindset that tends to corrupt and not all woman spout feminazi nonsense.

It all really depends on the amount of control you allow yourself to have and your partner to have. Some people don't mind being in a relationship where the other one is in charge. It is only a problem when that person tries to make their partner do something they don't want to do through manipulation and trickery. Society itself is pretty manipulative. You get pressured into thinking that you have to do something, such as paying for the date. Nothing really wrong with it if you want to do it, b…

Could be. Society plays a big part in shaping the roles of genders in courting and relationships.

I have no idea from your experience, but has the person you were dating done anything for you? Did they expect you to help them with things and make you feel compelled to help them whether you wanted to or not? I am not a psychologist and probably have it all wrong, but manipulation can be quite subtle and hard to detect, especially if you have an attachment to someone.

I really do not understand how these lawyers and legislators can reason that this shared parenting bill is not all for equality. How does being equal undermine feminism without implying that feminism is an inherently sexist ideology? I have to scoff at the bullshit that they use to try to dismiss this bill.

Holy shit. It really sucks that such bad shit has to happen to good guys like you. I can't really say anything because I'm too young and haven't had the experiences you've had, but I wish for you the best.

I don't get how watching porn is emotional cheating. I feel no emotion when masturbating to porn. It's all about the physical release.

That sounds like one of my gf's friend. Her parents separated and her mom starts accusing her dad of cheating. All the while, the mom finds herself a boyfriend and brainwashes her kids into thinking the dad is the bad guy. So fucked up.

My woman making more than me? I really don't care. But whether she makes more or less than me, she better not expect me to pay for all her shit.
