Classic deviation. Tbf it’s Reddit after all

That’s an awful counter example, way to talk about extremes. If that’s how you rationalize things, then it’s gg. There are people who do drugs in Singapore (I’m from SEA) and they still know the consequences of doing so. And you’re talking about freedom of speech and using an example of drug possession in a very strict country - nice.

I mean, you had the freedom to say it. You’re not free from its consequences - and in this case you got banned. You were never stopped from speaking your opinion at first, that’s freedom of speech

Also women leads having no imperfections. They’re just perfect. No flaws, no mistakes. What kind of message does this send to everyone? As opposed to their male character counterparts who are always flawed in some capacity

I’m still waiting for my grocery shopping discount for being a straight male

I’m 23 so I feel you. I’m okay with people doing it, but it’s when relationships come to an end because of it. For example, my ex breaking up with my when she went to uni because she wanted to have casual sex with different guys. Since then, I hate it

True, could be a case of bad luck. But I genuinely think the ‘love’ dynamic of today is very, very different than in the past. Having talked to people of different generations, it seems to be the case

Yes, I’ve fallen in love. As the main comment said, “you’ve been lied to, you never fall in love at the first sight”. Yes that’s true but falling in love is a process. You can call in love, be with someone, and also enjoy that freedom and peace. If they’re a good partner, they would understand that. However, love is not necessary to enjoy life, it’s a side quest. I enjoy my solitude now, but there was a point I did fall in love, but not recently. Modern women don’t like love either so falling in…

Funnily enough, the tinder algorithm knows that. If a guy does that, they have a lower chance of finding matches. If you swipe left more, the app has to work harder to keep you engaged as it assumed you’re dissatisfied with the product. As a business, they need to swiping, so they will then put real, substantial people on your list as a result

Tinder is a morale boost for average looking women, and a demoraliser for average looking men. You can look like a potato as a woman and receive 100swipes in 1 day. It’s a buffet for them. It will breed a generation of women who get what they want, when they want, from a long list of men they fancy on any given day. I’ll gladly stay away from this and go my own way

I thought my ‘middle school sweetheart’ wouldn’t budge a single bit but the moment uni happened I guess she forgot. Edit: I’ve also heard the word ‘Empowering’ been thrown around regarding their promiscuity and bad decisions. Perhaps we all have different definitions for it

In the last 5 years of uni/graduating, my worst experiences have been with women. They’ve cheated on me, or lied to me, all for the sake of living young and dumb. I quote ‘young and dumb’ from one of them as it was their ‘excuse’. I’m lucky to have just been through this and nothing worse, but it’s given me a sharp eye to keep for the future

Yes. Slightly unrelated but women always date upwards. Men date downwards, or the same. Perhaps things are changing now but you’ll never see a woman accountant dating / loving a costa barista, but you see plenty of men loving their partners regardless of what they provide.

I do hope it’s just an isolated incident in some random school and not a nationalized effort. Otherwise it’s insulting to every good father out there

Out dated gender concepts? What about keeping the names and understanding different people in someone’s life can take the role of a mother or father. Also ‘outdated’ implies we are behind the stage of having mothers and fathers but if you step outside the internet for a bit, you’ll realise a lot of people have normal mothers and fathers

Cos they renamed Father’s Day and not Mother’s Day. Not everyone has a mother, and other people can take up the role of a ‘mother’ figure, so what’s your point?

It’s painful. As a normal straight male graduate, it’s so disheartening to see firms celebrate diversity and inclusion recruitment awards, and their graduate cohorts are full of women or minorities. Ofc that’s another topic, but the idea of women and men being recruited SHOULD not be differentiated. I see too many ‘Women in business’ programs that fast track them through the process.

If there was a similar sub dedicated to men, it would be instantly shut down or be accused of misogyny or populated with intel’s. Yes, subs like this one exist but never will to the level and popularity as two x chromosomes, and even then, the discussions here are more mature and level headed

I mean if they’re happy they’re happy right? Being less free or having less money is their choice at the end. If they love someone so be it. The point of MGTOW is to be content with your own path and not divulge in why others would do differently

Yep definitely, it was never a ‘down thing’

I agree! Just that it seems more common where men marry ‘downwards’ and women marry ‘upwards’ on a societal ladder.

Hard to ever see that but reversed.

Women don’t realise men don’t give a shit if they’re successful or not. Think about it. Men would many secretaries, cashiers etc. have you seen a woman be ok with dating a guy from McDonald’s? They always want to date and marry upwards. Sadly the modern woman just want to sleep and work on her career until her 30s until it’s too late and realise no ones gives a shit about their career (and by that point, their date ability as well)

You beat me to it. He forgot to include the average number of strokes each session that would be multiplied by the average dick length of 5.2 inches.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
