Sorry, bro! Hang in there. I lived 3 + years in Ukraine for work. If I had a $ for every time I’ve heard this type of story....Had a few frustrating experiences, but recognized the warning signs early - thanks only to the advice of a few western friends. I think it’s just difficult to date across cultures for long periods of time (as an expat). I wouldn’t beat myself up too much over it if I were you.
