I can't give you much in the way of 'science based research' books. I can tell you that literary 'classics' are treasure troves of info on human psyche and behavior. I'd say start with the Death of Ivan Ilych by Tolstoy and go from there. His short stories are excellent. Flaubert, Dostoevsky, Kafka are all great. Stick to literary 'classics' there is a reason these books are remembered and studied for centuries.

That is a lot, sadly. Many days run closer to 7g+. At this point my baseline is high. I code, read, go to meetings, do everything at least slightly high. Nighttime usage after all my work is done is close to my optimal. I'd love to be able to use a large amount once a month or so but I'm not there yet.

Some non- stoner friends will definitely help. The social aspect has been especially difficult. Marijuana in embedded into all of our lives deep. I figure occasional marijuana would be okay as I don't drink or use any other drugs at all. Can't be occasional till I stop completely though.
