This. As an afab NB person - met my partner 4 years ago when I was 38 and he was 39. He's got a Clark Greg look, a good sense of humor, is thoughtful and honest. He doesn't try to be someone he's not, and he's hot as fuck. Be your best balding self, none of us are getting any younger.

Sex Therapist here, this! This is a great place to start. LOTS of men are very still/quiet during sex- especially hook ups. If something feels good, sigh, or groan, or moan. Then start with the word "yes". Any time things feel good, murmur "yes". That can evolve into "God, yes!" Or "Yes, you feel so good". Keep it authentic.

I mean, you asked why this question is problematic with women and I answered. My apologies that the answer is long. You, as a man, really have no basis from which to tell me a woman's experience is being exaggerated, as you have never experienced being a woman. I, personally, would take a request based on your experience with me a lot better. But, that is part of what we're all talking about here, it's a delicate situation, so you know her best. 🤷‍♀️

Throughout our history, women have received a lot of judgment and shaming about our bodies and how we present them, especially from our male partners. Women have been told to lose weight, gain weight, bigger boobs, boobs are too big, boobs sag too much, boobs are too hard, dress more modestly, look sexier... it goes on and on and on. Do men experience this too? Oh yes, definitely. But we were once owned as your property. And therein lies the pain. That our bodies were not ours. They were first o…

"Hey, did you see that fountain?" "I love your Avatar shirt- are you a big fan?" "Do you know what time the street performance is happening?" "Does that donut have rainbow sprinkles?" Again, since you are talking to an interesting individual there will be variables, and no one can hand you a script that will "work" with all women.

Women are not a hive mind, we're humans. So we don't all feel the same way about things. When guys approach me, I respect the courage and I'm flattered. I'm polite and direct so they don't waste time if it's not a good day. I can't speak for the next chick. A good place to start may be your own perspective on women. OP, Try thinking about the person you are approaching as an interesting individual, instead of a vagina that will automatically unlock with the right key. Even if all you want is a q…

Woman here. Being called a slut outside of the bedroom is, 99% of the time, intended to be insulting. A person is usually trying to hurt the woman by insinuating that she has no self respect, dignity, grace... that she is addicted to attention from others. Now, in bed, there are of course kinky people who are aroused by being disrespected. And so being insulted in bed is welcome. But there's also another angle here. In bed, slut can be used appreciatively, as a compliment to mean fun, adventurou…

This. Also as a woman, I wanted to point out that while lots of us love a good NSA hookup, we are usually socialized to believe that having sex quickly is "wrong" and if we do that, men will throw us out after because we haven't proven that we are "quality women". Men texting first after sex can give some of us a little relief. Regardless of what a woman wants next, if you liked her at all it does feel good to know that we weren't a complete hit and run. I guess I see it as a kindness? Even if y…

Guys that I've responded to give a simple conversation starter, so I don't have to do all the work. Example: "Hey, I see you like sci-fi! I'm catching up on bad batch right now, have you seen it?" That gives me something to answer with.

One possibility that no one else has mentioned is that you were not groomed for a date? I recently went on a first date with a guy who hadn't shaved in a couple of days. And it wasn't like his style/look, he just hadn't done it. It was disappointing, I felt unimportant to him. For me, it definitely started the date out poorly. I do know him well enough to look past it because I do like him. However I'm pretty low maintenance/focused on personality. I bet lots of women would have been really offe…

I'm a woman and I think part of the trouble is that many guys that do a cold approach have not been good at reading body language and can be creepy, leading to entitled, and then threatening. Every woman has been in the scary position of having a guy cold approaching her and not taking a polite "no" for an answer. Then he gets angry. This has led to vivid memories of negative experiences for us with cold approaches. Be attentive. Be respectful. Anything other than "Yes!" is a no. If you handle i…

I'm a woman, poly, and have been trying different things to meet people. I have kids too, so often I don't get out a lot. I'm going to give this a shot, though. I'll let you know what happens.

I'm a woman and I second this. The chit chat is boring and stale.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
