1	Is lifting for me? I was obsessed with form, read Starting Strength, filmed every workout. Couldn't get it down perfect before the time I got injured I guess. 0	Is lifting for me? I managed to fuck up my shoulder benching which in turn fucked up my whole upper right side lat neck arm head. Managed to do that in under 3 months as a beginner lifter. It's been years since the injury and I have permanent damage no amount of physical therapy costing 1000s could solve. Lifting absolutely is not for everyone. It would have no affect on your career unless you opt to mention your illness to your employer. Not sure about a military job however.
