Something is missing in this story, either from you or from her.

Organic Chemistry doesn't need whole textbooks to explain "electrons are always ready to fill in the hole of lesser electron density" but actually, it fucking does because the people who don't get it, don't fucking get it.

systemic racism in law enforcement black cops have shot just as many unarmed black men as white cops. That's an indication it's systemic, not a detraction. disproportion of police interaction with one specific minority group This is a tautology. There are definitely racist officers, bad cops and stereotypes buts stereotypes don't just happen Now I'm not sure what position you're arguing for. I feel you, I have bought into some index stock during the dip with some available liquidity within my own budget but that's very different than reallocating a down payment. If you're missing growth (that you can count on) it's paying off decades later. What you're feeling is that you're missing opportunity, of which, risk is very much included. Don't risk your down payment.

You're not that big by those numbers. Just eat maintenance and never miss leg day; you'll like the way you look by this time next year, if not in six months. You'll feel way better about yourself in just three months.

I lift against this feeling; it's been very helpful for me. I've even gone looking for it during a tough set. I felt conflicted about using it that way, but I think it's healthier than staring into my soul for my entire life, willing myself to not be myself. If you can't control yourself in the moment though, that's different.

Some people need to learn to loosen up, some people need to learn to discipline themselves. Hard to figure out, even in real life; much harder to figure out through Reddit.

Simpler than that, $15 is nothing. Sending the money erases a bullshit "injustice" (shuts her mouth) and communicates that he'd rather not see her again than have $15.

Without having sex with him, you can still thoroughly explore yourself, become more comfortable with yourself, and know what you're into before you're able to invite him in. Especially among the "freak religious" (#metoo), this isn't always "ready to go" on the wedding night. *Also: the Red_Curious link to the old post is gold; that's way more comprehensive than my comment.

Thank you so much for this post. As far as the prayer comments: One of the things that drove me to places like this was a lack of actionable training or guidance from other christians. Sure, prayer should be a part of your life; I've been hearing that since I was 5. No one told me to lift or to flirt or to treat myself as the prize until I came here. Now how does a man build a marriage that includes enthusiastic sex?

Remember that alot of advice we give passionately to others is an unsuccessful attempt to give advice to our past selves. The things I tell young men are things that I wish had been said to me. Not only is it (1) not as much of a personal attack as it comes across, but (2) he's loving you the way he wants to be loved.

I think it would be casual dating without exclusivity. That would result in a lot of dread in the Christian setting and abundance mentality. It obviously won't be easy to keep your hands to yourself; I don't have answers for you there. I imagine your frame will be tested often by people who think you're breaking the rules.

EAT. I gained 40lbs in six months while lifting 3 x week, cardio 2 x week. I didn't even count calories. If your hands aren't doing something, you should be eating. Whole milk, hard-boiled eggs, protein powder, cookie dough. Be uncomfortably full at least once every day. It might be expensive; do it anyway.

I'm all for not following women on social media. That's what I prefer. But I don't pretend to know what it's like to be young in 2018, so I'm not going to prescribe my life to OP. But if a girl is sending messages, just like if she was speaking, I'm going to see them for (1) what she wants the receiver to think (2) what that actually means about her, just as if I was reading her body language or her double-speak in real life. If I'm not taking in data that I can manipulate and redirect, I'm not …

Definitely agree that OP should move his attention anywhere else. indicates oneitis While obsessing over her social media presence would definitely indicate that, just "checking the radar" doesn't. You know the idea of "that girl from summer camp" who was so hot because you were in an isolating situation? Kind of like "the hottest girl in a tiny town"? Even if you go to a big school (I went to a 40k+ state school), it's pretty unlikely that you're really grasping all of the opportunities around you. You'll have a whole new draw after college. Even within college, perspective is hard to gain without putting in time and changing your angle on things. There were at least two more "college min…

This is kind of like creating a mega-successful company. Only one of them has to be a home run. I guarantee that by the time you're 30 you'll be able to look back and see that you had shots at women who satisfy your 3/3. I think the real sticking point is that the ones you think are candidates aren't single. They'll be single at some point, or else she'll branch swing to you, either way the problem then is execution. Stay picky. I'm 30, my stock has only gone up. My playing field has only become…

I'd speculate that it came out more like: 7: "Hey, I don't want to hook up with bostonburrito, so why don't you two go get a drink?" She could've lied a little more than that, but she was already having feels and that was about the last resistance she could muster.

You were too overt. Dread can be as simple as letting her see that you dressed nice as you're leaving in the morning or mowing the front lawn with your shirt off. Also, the dread you used was reversed in a way. I play dread as "reasons that other women do/would want me" rather than "reasons I might leave you".

I have a similar not-often-but-sometimes-debilitating stutter. I'm sure you've learned the singing method (you can't stutter while you're singing, as little as one note or even just thinking of singing can be enough the get you through the barrier). I have found that helpful. Otherwise, I slam the sound (giving it odd enunciation) or pause, look away, and return (maybe after a cough or a mouth stretch) to the phrase. I think that in the context of saving face, the option that either (1) gets you…

You mention that the subreddit is good at shit tests but bad at comfort tests like this one. What I am getting from your post is that something should be done to address the problem as a comfort issue, for the benefit of the long term. I don't see that you've presented advice, just urged OP that he'd need to "take this all seriously". I'm terrible at comfort tests. I get them pretty often. If you feel like you know more than the average person here, you should speak up.

I am familiar with the "be anything but boring" idea and that emotions in any direction are positives towards being attractive to a woman. My question is: Is the above scenario a win for all of you? I have a ton of trouble feeling attraction in the midst of shit tests and bad attitudes. When my wife is being bitchy, my current play is to withdraw my attention.
