It's because they are liberals (actual definition)
/r/PurplePillDebate10/12/23 12:39 AM

This kind of thinking is too advanced for the women and horny men on this subreddit unfortunately. They only think about sex when coming here sigh 😔

You mean why we value to be sex as a romantic act exclusively? It's because seeing sex only as romantic feels more comforting and joyful. Growing I always thought sex was like kissing in that people only did them in romantic relationship so I rather keep that perspective

We want to date women who has the same values regarding sex as us. We don't want to date women who have casual sex or are sex positive. I think that is a fair assessment

For good people to do bad things is not dependent on religion as pseudoscience can do that as well as patriotism. But ultimately the economic interest of the oppressor fuels their wars and oppression. They would use what ever it takes to justify their actions. Homophobia didn't start because of religion it started because the oppressors needed more labor to exploit and grow their economy. The religion only justified it. Science can explain our world better yes but it does not prescribe stuff. Yo…

I will offer you my perspective, I have never heard of body count till I have seen it in this sub. But when growing up I learned to couple sex and romance the same way with kissing and sex. So as a preference or deal breaker I wouldn't want to date women who had casual sex in the past as I never had casual sex or the hoe phase myself. Most importantly I would never want to date sex positive women who decouple sex from love and support the narrative of hook up culture. I don't believe women who h…

I think you are being reductionist. The political conflicts that are justified through religion is just that political conflicts. If not for religion they would resort to patriotism and pseudoscience like race realism. You don't need religion to destress and morality the same way you don't need weed and drugs to destress. But you would not stop people from doing drugs or smoking weed. Also having a united morality and beliefs united people as opposed to individualism belief everyone should have …

It would be harder for you to understand and respect others with different values regarding sex though. Maybe not impossible but difficult. We are all indoctrinated into something that is just the consequence of being a social animal.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/12/23 05:15 PM

It depends on the religion. My family are Hindu but don't believe in the superstition literal. The fairy tales are to teach people of Hindu morality rather than literal account of history. The praying is not literal either but a way to destress from society. It's a good way to unite people with shared values

You cannot talk about the ideal relationship without talking about the ideal society. In my ideal society social necessities such as housing and food are taken care of by government given the individual works to their best ability. People would also be working fewer hours. Careerism would die as people would not center their whole life on their jobs. Drugs and Alcohol would be banned for better things that helps people relax and alleviate stress. So how would romantic relationship work in my ide…

No it's not even behavioral post op were usually saying they just felt insecure. He would be like I feel uncomfortable if gf spending too much time with her make coworkers and people would be making fun of him even though he never said he was controlling only that he was suspecting

I don't think women are held accountable the same way men are from my experience in reddit. For an example if woman complains about their partner monkey branching or flirting with girls and comments defend her. While when men complain about something similar the comments defend his girlfriend. I will admit there have been post where the comments were blaming women for feeling insecure but people in reddit same to hate people struggling with insecurities in general

As long as many men continue to disregard women's concerns over these issues, then many women are going to prefer sex toys over randos. I would prefer for women to prefer sex toys than randos

If my romantic partner values paternal certaintity and monogamy then there is little reason to test. I don't think there is an out right agenda or conspiracy but I get weird vibes from postmodern leftist who wants to abolish the concept of paternal certaintity and push for hook up culture. But I guess I would just have to avoid those people and find someone who I share my value with.

To be honest I don't want to do paternity test and would want to trust my partner. But the only way I would trust my partner is if we share same values and interests. But I can empathize how it could hurt women to find out her husband wants a paternity test

Pair bonding has to do with structure of a relationship not the neurochemicals in the brain. So we do have a better understanding of the structure but not necessarily the neurochemicals associated with the structure. As to why people bring pair bonding it's because they want monogamous women to remain monogamous.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/12/23 08:07 PM
-1

But people can hide their cheating habits really well though. Even the most good presenting man can cheat
/r/PurplePillDebate05/12/23 07:44 PM

You and other people are the ones who twist the definition of pair bonding and don't even actually take time to research it
/r/PurplePillDebate05/12/23 07:37 PM

When free society is use colloquial it is reference to capitalism. When talking about social behavior people posit that these behavior trends simply exist due to the social progressive values that modern society claims it has rather than the actual material conditions of modern society
/r/PurplePillDebate05/12/23 07:35 PM

Yeah but not every sex positive women and man here beliefs in pair bonding or being honest with your partner. You do not invalidate the trend I have seen on this subreddit
/r/PurplePillDebate05/12/23 07:26 PM
-1

There is no such thing as hyper capitalism. Free society is stand in terms for capitalism
/r/PurplePillDebate05/12/23 07:20 PM
1

So you didn't even know the actual definition of that word when you were engaging with me. That's kind of funny not going to lie. Anyways to address your second point why do you have problem with people addressing their relationship as a pair bond. Does it bother you so much that you want people to stop using that term? What do you mean monogamy isn't clear in pair bond
/r/PurplePillDebate05/12/23 07:12 PM
1

Nah it's not inappropriate at all as the definition is clears as day. In summary, pair bonding is best defined as a selective and enduring relationship between two non-kin adults that often coincides with a monogamous mating system and a pair-living social organization Why can't this definition be used to describe mating habits in humans?
/r/PurplePillDebate05/12/23 07:02 PM
1

By free society you mean poverty, hyper consumerism, hyper competition, inflation, expensive housing, destruction of third spaces then by all means live in this so called free society. My solution is to change society to be communal by building third spaces that people actually enjoy. None of this bars bullshit
/r/PurplePillDebate05/12/23 06:59 PM
1

In compacity I would argue it's comparable to animals but no it would not be the same since we are conscious entity. But animals themselves are not simple as we thought. There have been experiments done on monogamous lemurs and voles which shut down their oxytocin production but they still remained with their partners.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/12/23 06:56 PM
1

Its not even predetermined at bonding period for animals. You just changing the definition of the word to meet your personal standards lol
/r/PurplePillDebate05/12/23 06:35 PM
1

Who cares if you are interested in disproving that or not there are people in here that do though. Who cares if not everyone does that. The problem is they want us to confirm to their relationship structure
/r/PurplePillDebate05/12/23 06:31 PM
2

Idealist tend to reject the current material conditions in favor of an ideal in their head. That is not to say wanting to change the material conditions to the ideal is bad but presenting the material conditions in its current state as the ideal is dishonest or ignorant
/r/PurplePillDebate05/12/23 06:26 PM

My complaint is that you people want to disprove that humans are capable of life long monogamous relationship and want us to devalue sex.

/r/PurplePillDebate05/12/23 06:19 PM

Look I personally don't believe promiscuous women are unable to pair bond or be monogamous but to go to the extra mile like this is not needed at all. So to me it seems like they have an agenda of some sorts Where in here did I say promiscuous women can't pair bond?
/r/PurplePillDebate05/12/23 06:08 PM

Where did I say promiscuous women can't pair bond? You still haven't answered this question
/r/PurplePillDebate05/12/23 06:06 PM

If you actually read my comment which you clearly didn't I never argued that promiscuous women cant pair bond or be monogamous. Please show me where I actually said that please. The sciences use this term for human relationships structure as well https://www.frontiersin.org/articles/10.3389/fevo.2019.00230/full

Just because we aren't foxes are parrots doesn't mean we cannot pair bond. I have to admit humans are have diverse mating style in which are not dependent on genes. Even in animals of the same species can mate differently as seen with the rock paper scissors lizards which I forgot the species name but it was featured in YouTube video from the deep …
/r/PurplePillDebate05/12/23 05:59 PM

Isn't it just a long term monogamous relationship Pair bonds refer to selective associations between two individuals of the same species [4]. These strong social relationships are typically observed within breeding pairs of monogamous species; however, pair bonds can exist between animals that are not sexually involved or sexually exclusive https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC10295201/#:~:text=Pair%20bonds%20refer%20to%20selective,sexually%20involved%20or%20sexually%20exclusive.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/12/23 05:54 PM

I am talking about the concept of pair bonding itself. The sex positives here argued that pair bonding does not exist in humans. I don't believe that pair bonding diminishes because of promiscuouity so I don't know where you got that as I even clearly said I didn't in my initial comment
/r/PurplePillDebate05/12/23 05:42 PM

How is the premise of pair bonding wrong? Are humans not able to pair bond?
/r/PurplePillDebate05/12/23 05:32 PM

Can you point where I said I want to restrict people from having lots of sex with lots of people? You are the ones who want to restrict people in my opinion
/r/PurplePillDebate05/12/23 05:31 PM

It's a scientific word though
/r/PurplePillDebate05/12/23 05:29 PM

In your last paragraph you said stuff about how people who say lonliness is a societal problem is just an excuse to not change
/r/PurplePillDebate05/12/23 05:28 PM

To me it feels like the sex positivite crowd of this subreddit are more interested in spreading agenda than actual debunking some man o spheres arguments presented here. For example when there is post about how promiscuous women loose ability to pair bond they immediately argue pair bonding isn't real in humans. They want women to lie about their past apparently? They believe people should stop valuing sex highly (only reserved for romance). Look I personally don't believe promiscuous women are …

/r/PurplePillDebate05/12/23 01:43 AM

You are only understanding this problem from individualistic perspective rather than a sociological perspective. It's like why did that deer eat a snake aren't they herbivorous? You need to understand the bigger picture here
/r/PurplePillDebate05/12/23 01:41 AM

I think women can emphasize with paternal certainty but the issue sex positivity are indoctrinating women and men to forgo paternal certainty
