Showing interest in someone else doesn't easily allow you to demonstrate your own value. It even has the potential to come off as needy. Tell good stories about you when they are appropriate. But remember it's not a competition. Maybe a 2:1 ratio is nice (aim for a 3:1 ratio because of biases). EDIT: Too many questions can create the feeling of neediness.
