4% BF is what Chris Bumstead gets down to for the Olympia, there's no way you're sustaining that level and not experiencing serious health issues.

You can't trust those things at all. If you want an accurate reading get a DEXA scan, displacement tests and caliper measurements (by someone who legitimately knows how to use them) are also good options.

Intentional outings: going and participating in activities you enjoy doing and building community and connections over time. Things like: a gym community pickup sports at a park outdoor recreation (skiing, biking, running, etc.) music events (concerts, small local scene shows, not clubbing) Casually meeting and re-meeting people in environments that you know you share common interest in and then just being yourself. If you don't find a partner, at the very least you'll build your social circle.

Here's the thing...each of your comments in this back and forth about listening is demonstrating to all of us that you're really not the listener that you believe you are. Every single suggestion or statement made is immediately met with a hostile retort, you're reading our comments with a preconceived notion of what the "correct" answer is and are only thinking about how to rebuke people. That's exactly the kind of "listening" everyone is telling you to avoid.

To talk to the gym scenario specifically: It's a really tough place for most people to feel comfortable with eye contact just in general. There's a unique pressure not to be weird and creepy or to make others uncomfortable. For that, it's best to remember that everyone in the gym is there because they (we) want to change and improve something about themselves (ourselves) and that they (we) are in their (our) own little worlds. Chances are these girls didn't even really notice you. That said, the…

I like to lift when the gym opens a 5am and adopted a large dog during covid so between those two commitments and 8 hours of desk work some days I'm half dead by the time 5pm comes around. Mastering the 20-30 minute powernap has been my best skill learned during WFM lockdowns.

I mean, there's almost countless factors that go into attraction and there are studies that back it up... Example: A woman on hormonal birth-control (the pill, IUDs, etc.) is significantly more likely be sexually and romantically attracted to a less "masculine" (as you have described) male counterpart than a woman who is not. But your points about having self-confidence are undeniable; having a concrete sense of identity and self-worth is vital to any relationship between people...romatnic, sexu…

And a perfect parallel to how the gym itself works, very well said.

Sorry, I should have said that differently... The other various components in most sodas are quite damaging to your body in comparison to things like dark chocolate and certain teas; the level of other sugars, dyes, etc. "Better for you" isn't the right way to say it, the right way would be more along the lines of "less harmful"; the bottom line is everything in moderation but some things need to be more restricted in volume than others.

The ways that caffeine enters your body is really important, dark chocolate and green tea are significantly better for you than soda or energy drinks. But that said, the caffeine issue is more about timing and quantity; caffeine has a half life of about 6hrs and a quarter life of about 12, meaning if you drink a 12oz cup of Starbucks at noon it's basically the same thing as chugging 4oz of the same drink at midnight and thinking you're going to sleep well. Drink your coffee early and don't "supe…

I'd definitely look for a different example. Not just washed up but outside of her staunchest followers, public opinion of her is not positive; she's slimy, greedy, mechanical and outright terrifying sometimes...
