Although sometimes interpreted as a term that dismisses anything masculine, toxic masculinity intends to refer to harmful behaviours society expects of men. An example of this is men having to surpress emotions, which in turn can cause higher suicide rates.

There's still some gap left after taking into account hours and fields. This due to things like negotiation (which men tend to do better at than women), career development differences due to family care, possibly some sexism, etc.

Why is this a mens rights thing? It had noting to do with male/female discrimination. It's just about a false witness statement, from someone who happens to be a woman, regarding someone who happens to be a man. Could easily have been man/man, woman/woman or man/woman. *Loveley how many people assume this was about rape without reading the article
