I know it's a serious issue, but NYPost calling these people NILF made me chuckle

Being a guy who grew up in an Asian community, yes lol, but phrased in a slightly different way. 'What's yours is mine, and what's mine is still mine.' I used to think that's a bullshit phrase used by bullies because it was kind of Gian's catchphrase (the burly kid in Doraemon), and I still think it's a bullshit phrase now. Not cute at all

Alright, here we go. It's a test that imitates the pain of childbirth, and it got popular quite a while back because the ladies wanted their boyfriends/husbands to feel their pain and understand that childbirth is hard and dangerous work. There should be a pro working the machine, but this girl took her boyfriend to a confinement center (pregnant women go through one month of confinement after childbirth, and centers like that provide services for them during recovery. It is not cheap. It can se…

Gaming is a relatively cheap hobby that can be enjoyed even if you're alone. Trying to prohibit it just for... well, reasons we can imagine, is just evil

Lol he can't even be sure if he's actually less trashy. If that's the case, he's saying that his fiancee's taste in men is dubious at best, according to his logic. Brings me back to the days when I was feminist leaning. Brr, chilling

This is... disturbing, to say the least. Stay safe out there, guys

...So they're withholding sex and intimacy from who, exactly? Their partners? If their partners are already on their side, this action just shows that they're not above punishing their allies for things their perceived enemies do. Or if we want to take this a step further, it shows that they're not above weaponizing one of the, if not the most cherished aspect in a relationship to force their partners into doing what they want. You guys have it hard, man. I feel for you

I'm not an American, but man, some of the Redditors in that sub blame men for not showing up. We can't win, boys. Damned if we do and damned if we don't

A killer is still a killer. Having a mental illness just makes that killer a troubled or insane one. Like many things, killers come in different variants

'Studying for real, working for real.' Gee, glad to see that this woman thinks that the literal decades of education I went through amounts to nothing. Unbelievable

Rumors claim that it's not one but five journalists. When they got outed, those people started CTA by redirecting the vitriol towards gamers. The man that woman cheated on was accused of abuse and worse, which led to his studio cutting all ties with him. That man subsequently took his own life

You went to that sub? I went into it thinking it was about real people and real problems at first, but that opinion quickly changed. There could be real stories, sure, but it's mostly filled with creative writing exercises, ragebait, and the usual gender war. The whole thing reads like satire now

Oh, yeah. Loads of people think Asian women are docile, but I assure you they are not. I need to preface this by saying that not all are like this, but a part of them do try to control their SO's free time. They want their SO to at least spend their free time by doing what she likes. Gaming is frowned on a lot (so much so that some boys are over the moon if their SO allows them some game time), and so is going out with their friends. If you think the joke about husbands asking their wives' permi…

And chopsticks. If it's expensive, I'm assuming it's something like omakase, so she's also using a whole culture foreign to her own in a pseudo science experiment

Just because a character isn't written by a woman doesn't mean we can't complain about it. Women have internalized misogyny, so that must imply men have internalized misandry. Just because it's written by a man doesn't automatically make it immune to criticism or complaints. You claim to be showing support but try to discredit the people here by calling them 'whiny' and 'embarrassing.' An issue doesn't need to be big for it to be problematic. We talk about small issues all the time, because they…

Link's in the post. The article is, well, what you can expect from a hit piece in 2024
