A friend of mine, who was circumcised, once asked his father why he had him cut upon birth. His father says "well son, its so you stay clean down there" My friend's response "dad, do you think I wasn't going to wash that?" There is absolutely NO reason to circumcise a man, and plethora of reasons not to.

I once dated a girl, who told me she wanted to circumcise our (theoretical, nonexistent) son. I told her no son of mine was going to have his genitals mutilated upon birth. She says its what doctors do. We aren't together anymore. A month later, when seeing the Vagina Monologues, she read a preface to one of the monologues about female genital mutilation in the third world, with tears in her eyes. No sympathy for the instutionalized mutilation close to home however, because its just men. Circumc…
